Through staying near the crack, Riya could see these magic beasts were trying to climb up only to hit the formation and then fell down, this ti as corpse. She knew the power of her formation very well, so Riya could guess that these magic beasts wouldn't be able to escape from here.
But she clearly see that there were more magic beasts when she ca out with Alia and Ruby.
This ant there were another crack nearby.

The paper doll had climbed up again. This ti, the body was drenched in blood and it stretched its hand.
Riya held it and what the paper doll saw was transmitted back to Riya as the paper doll disappear.
Blood and corpses everywhere.
And there were still countless magic beasts rushing over to the entrance as if there was sothing that chased them or attracted them up here.

They were targeting humans?
Riya was not sure but she wouldn't enter the crack at this period of ti. With so many magic beasts around, Riya would only dig her own grave if she entered. She might be skilled but she was not invincible.
'I need to reach rank 4 faster.'
After checking this crack, Riya followed the direction where more magic beasts gathered and went on a slaughter spree again.

These magic beasts couldn't stand even for a mont around her and Riya tossed their corpses into her world, using it as nutrients. There were still no rank 1 magic beast, which might be because it was still early.
After looking around for a mont, Riya reached another crack, which was located more than 10 kiloters away from the first crack.
She used the blood of these magic beasts to make double killing formation and then the concealnt magic.
"This should be enough, but how many cracks are there?" Riya pursed her lips when she thought about this.
City A itself was quite big, spanning more than 30 kiloters in radius. Riya had taken quite a considerable amount of ti to reach this second crack. If there were more cracks, she would have to travel for a long ti and there was basically no guidelines.
She's only one person.
Riya looked around and then sighed.
'There's no point for to care about this. The military should be able to handle it.'
While unranked magic beasts looked strong, they could still be defeated by bullets, grenades, bombs, and so on. They were fairly weak and the military should be able to handle it, provided that they could co here.
"Co to think about it, it has been more than a day since the earthquake happened, why no one co to City A to help?" Riya asked doubtfully.
She looked at the tallest building nearby and climbed it up.
Her own dormitory was not very tall but through that dormitory, Riya had seen that there were nothing more than ruins from where she could see.

Riya looked around her and what she saw was no different from what she saw from the dormitory.

Riya took a deep breath and activated her skills, allowing her to see further into the distance. And what she saw was nothing more than ruins with so building sstill standing, but it was clear that this earthquake basically destroyed the entire City A.
Even… she guessed that the surrounding cities were also destroyed.

Ordinary people will die, military have to work harder…

Riya took a deep breath and cald down. She looked in the direction where Alia's house located and found a group of mansions standing in sowhat higher grounds. There were walls that were still being built and Riya guessed that Alia's brother was trying to build a safe base.

The corner of Riya's lips raised bitterly.
Samuel should have his own way to gain intelligence from the outside world. If he dared to make such a grand project, it was estimated that this earthquake didn't only cover their nation but the entire world.
The world will change.
It would no longer be the place they used to know but a place where it was survival of the fittest.
Riya shook her head and silently made her way back down.
Since Samuel had started to make a base, Ruby and Alia would be safe as long as they could reach that place. The only thing she had to do was to help escorting them there.

When Riya returned, the two girls were still sleeping and there was a magic beast nearby, trying to get closer but seed to be stuck by sothing.
"Oh."
Riya raised her hand and a wind arrow pierced through the magic beast's heart. After that, Riya put the body into her world and then sat back down, ditating to recover her mana and also resting.
In this way, another hour passed quietly.
Alia woke up and turned her head to the back. Upon seeing Riya was safe and sound, Alia heaved a sigh of relief and then glanced at Ruby who had also woken up and looked dazed.
"Ruby, do you plan to check that magic beast's corpses again?"
"Mhm." Ruby nodded and rubbed her eyes. "There's no magic beast coming at night?"
"No, this place seems to be quite deserted, but we still have to go." Alia pointed at the steer. "We'll go with car."
"The engine sound?" Ruby asked with so doubts.
"It's fine. We should be faster than those magic beasts."
"Ok."
"Let's eat sothing first."
When Riya woke up, she was inford about their plan and Riya agreed. She could make a sound insulation formation around the car, so that other wouldn't be able to hear it.
