Riya pushed all thoughts inside her mind.
She had just tried to construct a ntal image to think of herself as an ordinary person not long ago. How co she would be flustered and demolished the platform that she had worked painstakingly to maintain.
In this peaceful world, Riya still didn't want to lose the peaceful world she had on the surface.
No matter what, this has been her life for so many years.
It was comforting and in this ordinariness, she just felt sowhat satisfied and liked this way of life.
There was no need to try breaking it at all.
Her eyes landed on the stone not far from her and she could sense the heavy fluctuation of mana coming from inside. She had just been busy inspecting the stones in the other section and when she co to A section, just a random rock was actually a good one?
Riya picked it up and planned to let Sophia bought it. She was not sure that she had enough money to buy it….
"Little Riya, you're still picking rocks?" Alia finally rembered that there was still Riya not far from her. The latter was busy picking rocks not long ago and with Governor Zachary's arrival, her attention was taken away.
"Ah, I don't have money to buy, but I think this one is good for either one of you," Riya replied as she held the rock.
Sophia glanced at the rock and blinked her eyes. "Is it? They said that there are many rocks that could yield to be jade in section A, but many of them are not very useful."
Riya smiled bitterly.
Considering that only one out of 10 contained jade in Section D, she was not very surprised at all. Most of the 'trashes' were thrown there and those that looked like it had jade inside would be put here to be sold in higher price.
Even if there was still the chance that the rock contained nothing, everyone was born with the ntality of trying.
The one who sold the rocks could also try to open it themselves, but they wouldn't get any money if there was nothing inside. That was why they would rather sell it in low price and let other people buy it.
"That rocks…" Peter's eyes flickered when he sensed the mana fluctuation coming from the rock. He was not very sensitive to mana movent, but because he had beco a warrior, he had heightened senses. For so obvious mana fluctuation, he could still sense it when Riya brought the rock close to him.
The rock that this woman picked… contained valuable jade.
At this mont, Peter felt a bit jealous. He co here in order to make money, but he felt that other people was much luckier than him.
"Yes?" Riya raised the rocks in her hand. "I don't have money to buy it, so if you want to, you can actually take it."
She was frank.
Because she knew that holding this stone was just to make sure she was not staring at Peter. If he was paying close attention to her, he might found out that she was also a magician like him.
Warriors had high senses.
She didn't want to take the gamble.
This was sothing Riya wished to avoid.
"I wouldn't do anything like that." Peter showed a smile. He might be jealous, but he would not go so far to the point of stealing other people's rocks. He hadn't fallen to that point yet.
"Then…"
"May I take a look at the rock?"
"Yes."
Riya handed the rock to Peter smoothly while controlling her expression. She made sure that she didn't touch him to prevent him from detecting the mana in her body. After all, she was not sure what other skills that barbarians had.
Holding the rocks, Peter could feel the rich mana gushing from inside. It was very tempting. In the end, he sighed and returned the rock to Riya. "You have good eyes, Young Miss."
"Thank you, Mr." Riya smiled back.
At the side, Alia looked at the rock in Riya's hand curiously. This was not the first ti for her to co here, but her luck has always been very bad. It was to the point that Sophia laughed at her, saying that she kept on supporting her business.
