Riya took a deep breath as she listened to the quarrel between Alia and Valeria. She had always known that Alia was not soone that could be easily taken advantage of. After all, she knew very well that Alia's fire power when scolding people were also very fierce.
But the problem is, Alia was restrained by her identity.
Most of the ti, Alia would not dare to push too hard and make things too troubleso between her and Valeria.
Today, Alia had seen that the world changed too much.
There wouldn't be anyone who would care about laws and order as much as before. The law and order in the base would be controlled to a certain degree.
But how about outside?
Who would have the ti to care about those things?
How many people died unjustly because of various small conflicts in the past two weeks?
There were too many to count.
And at this mont, Alia didn't care about her position or so on when she was confronting Valeria because she felt that these things were useless.
She better do what she wanted and be comfortable.
"I didn't…" Valeria wanted to refute but found that she couldn't say anything else but a refutation.
Because she really didn't want to do those hard tasks in the base.
Aside from the cleaning work that was snapped by many won, the work left was only the construction work. There were so won who were strong and took it, but how could Valeria take it?
She was a pampered young miss in her family.
Her strength was definitely far from enough if she wanted to take that kind of work.
As for competing with others to take the other easier job?
Valeria was late.

Though, she actually could be very ruthless.
"Don't think that you can get things for free." Alia snorted. "Go and find work. Don't find all the ti. I'm not your mother who had to take care of you."
With that, Alia pulled Riya into the house, not wanting to care about Valeria anymore. She felt that the more they talked with Valeria, the more annoyed she would be. This woman didn't seem to understand that the world was no longer the sa as it used to be.
"Alia! You can't do this to ! I'm…"
"Guards, don't let her co near here anymore." Alia looked at the guards and her eyes narrowed. "Whoever allowed her to co in will be moved to the frontier task."
The guards felt sweat drops on their back.
They knew very well that the task of guarding the mansions' area could be said to be the safest mission for them. If they were to be transferred away, they would have to face those magic beasts.
Who would want to risk their lives all the ti?

With that, they dragged Valeria away rudely.

Alia entered the mansion and took a deep breath. "She's getting more and more outrageous."
In the past, Valeria would take care of her image.
But today, Alia could see that Valeria barely cared for her own image and insisted to continue charging forward regardless of the consequences.
This made Alia terribly annoyed.
"Just ignore her." Riya shook her head and said, "As long as she couldn't get close to here, she wouldn't think about taking advantage all the ti."
"Right." Alia took a deep breath once more. "I'll tell my brother to select better guards. If they don't know who can co and who shouldn't co, then they shouldn't be working here in the first place."
Riya could see that Alia was terribly annoyed and felt helpless about it. As the young miss of the Jones Family, Alia would not tolerate others making such a mistake. These people were paid to guards the gate. Why should they let people who shouldn't be here enter the mansion areas?
If this continued, it would only put their lives in danger.
"Co on, let's not pay attention to her," Riya said and nudged Alia.
But seeing Alia's family made Riya also thought about her own family.
Well, so called family.
Her father and stepmother were pestering her quite a lot soti ago. They nearly caused her death and wanted to plot against her.
From what Riya knew, this pair of father and annoying half sister and half brother were still in City A. Riya could only hope that they would not go to City A Base or they would encounter each other.

Riya couldn't guarantee that she could hold back.
Especially if they dared to make trouble like how Alia's family did today.
"Yeah." Alia took a deep breath and then glanced at Riya. "By the way, Claire and Victoria should be on their way here too. When they co, I'll let them stay in the mansion's area or sowhere safe."
Sophia and Ruby were easy to arrange because one of them was part of the Carson Family who had a mansion here and the other was part of the research institute now.
Even if the latter's position was a bit low, but it was enough to give her a place.
But the other two… it was a bit more difficult.
