Sophia pursed her lips.

"Brother, am I growing up too slowly?"

She had to admit that she didn't focus her entire life to train and practice all the ti. Because Sophia knew very well that it would be absolutely impossible for her to do so.

Besides…

It would be too tiring.

For Sophia who has been living a pampered life for her entire life, she was really not used to work hard so much.

It was probably similar to Alia.

And she knew her position very well and understood what she had to do in order to grow stronger.

Instead of focusing her attention on the paths that she couldn't possibly take in her entire life, it's better for her to focus on raising her pets and used the contract to make them and herself stronger.

It succeeded.

But this path also took a long ti and by the ti the grand magic beasts' tide happened, Sophia was still at rank 6.

Right now…

She just felt at loss.

"No, you've done your best, Sophia and life is about balance." Stephen rubbed his sister's head tenderly and then said, "If you focus on training all the ti, you will eventually break because your string is too tight."

And he couldn't possibly let that happen.

He loves his sister very much and she's also the only family mber he has left. Even though he technically still has a father, Stephen didn't want to see the other party anymore after that conversation in the Carson Family Residence.

Because Stephen knew that between the Carson Family and their small family… their father chose the Carson Family.

He's soone who cared too much for the Carson Family as a whole.

So Stephen could no longer treat him as a father.

And he brought Sophia out with him so that she would not have to et with their father and possibly be influenced by his words.

Because Stephen knew that Sophia is much more soft hearted compared to him.

And if she were to be swayed by their father… he might not be able to extricate himself from the Carson Family.

It wouldn't be good for Stephen.

"I…" Sophia opened her mouth and pursed her lips.

*whimper*

lly sensed Sophia's sadness and stood up before she started to lick Sophia's face, trying to wipe out Sophia's tears that have no chance to fall down.

"lly, stop it! It tickles!"

But lly didn't want to stop.

It took Sophia so ti to calm lly down and she really wanted to send lly away to the beast space, but she refused. She simply circled her large body around Sophia, protecting her and turning into her cushion.

Sensing the care from lly, Sophia felt both touched and distressed.

She rubbed the large dog's head and then looked at her brother. "Brother, I…"

"I won't stop you from feeling sad, but you can't wallow in sadness forever." Stephen also rubbed lly's head as he added, "Even lly knows that and she didn't want you to be so sad all the ti."

Sophia pursed her lips.

"Also, I bought these for you."

Stephen took out his phone and sent a file to his sister.

Sophia took out her phone and checked the file. When he saw the content was about the training follow up for beast masters along with so magic spells that was useful for them, she was stunned and raised her head abruptly.

"Where did these co from?"

There was only one beast master returnee in the entire Green Planet, which is Murin.

But even a fool knew that Murin would never take out all the skills he had learned in Afirer Kingdom to Continent Z, especially when he himself had the plan to go on their opposite side after so ti.

That's why for many beast masters, their knowledge were limited up to rank 4.

The knowledge above that rank was practically hidden by the magicians from the Magic Association.

Or it was more like….

Many people didn't even know whether the magicians from the Magic Association even have the necessary information from Murin. After all, no one knew the details of his full cooperation with them back then.

So when the magicians from the Magic Association only released the thods up to rank 4, so people did clamor for a while. But the number of beast masters on the entire Green Planet was not much.

They couldn't make much waves.

Sophia also saw it and felt that it was a bit of a pity, but she couldn't possibly change her path so easily.

After all, she didn't have much talent as a magician nor magic warriors.

And aside from these two paths, Sophia had no idea about other possible paths that she could possibly tread on.

At the very least, if it was these two parts, Sophia knew very well that Riya and Samuel would be able to help. In their small group, there were more people with these two professions.

Unfortunately…

Sophia knew that she has poor talent.

And after walking the path of a beast master where she could take care of the pets she loved while also getting stronger, it was really difficult for Sophia to accept that she had to walk on a different path.

So after contemplation, Sophia chose to stick to this path.

She might not be able to get so strong like the others, but this is also the path that she genuinely enjoyed from the bottom of her heart.

Sophia never thought that it would be possible for her to fight on the frontline.

Her ability was not enough.

But when she heard that Riya and Samuel disappeared after the intense battle, Sophia truly felt at loss.

She felt as if she hadn't done enough.

That they were basically putting all the greatest pressure on these returnees who should have been ordinary people like them.

If they hadn't had the miraculous experience, they wouldn't have to be the one standing at the forefront like this.

Unfortunately….

There was no 'if.'
