After that conversation, everyone silently ate the food on the table.

Although a god spawn had erged, they had already eliminated it. The lighthouse will be repaired by the Storm Tower, and they have stationed soone else to observe the west coast. So, the three were free to do whatever they wanted.

That’s when Aurelia convinced everyone to try Zephyr cooking. For that, the three stayed behind; instead of leaving on the flying disk, they ca here.

For the next hour, Zephyr slowly ate everything on the plate, chewing slowly. He enjoyed the al and wished to sleep.

However, Corvinus decided to leave after the al and brought him along.

An hour later, Zephyr found himself standing in front of a large manor. Corvinus flew them over here, saying they could rest here for a few days before returning. Then he left, flying away alone.

Zephyr, Aurelia, and Elenor looked at each other, confused.

"Viscount Whitewater’s manor?" Zephyr asked, with a hint of hesitation.

He had a vague mory of coming here before.

"Yes." Aurelia nodded.

"I thought he died."

"Shsss...Don’t curse soone standing in front of their ho."

"He is not?" Zephyr widened his eyes, surprised.

"No." Aurelia shook her head.

"How? I thought the necromancer’s n killed him and the reinforcent."

"He took a strategic retreat at the right ti and survived with his n."

"He ran away!"

"Strategic retreat." Aurelia squinted.

"Yes, I get it." Zephyr frowned. "Quite noble of him to save himself while n were dying out there."

"..." Aurelia rolled her eyes.

As the princess of the kingdom, she was one of the highest-ranked nobles. It would be a lie to say the sarcastic comnt didn’t hit the mark.

"Anyways, let’s go inside." She said and walked up to the guards standing in front of the gate.

The next morning, a procession of villagers carrying various gifts in their hands arrived at the cottage Zephyr used to live in.

The newly selected village chief walked to the front door and tapped on it, expecting Zephyr to co out

"Thus. Thud." The noise woke up the person inside.

They could hear soone move inside. They waited patiently for the door to open.

The villagers had co to the cottage with the hope of thanking Zephyr for saving their life. At the sa ti, all of them wanted to apologise to him for what they had done.

None of them could forget how they treated Zephyr outside the lighthouse. After all, they wanted to kill him in anger. Initially, a small group had co and asked for an apology. At that ti, he ignored them and walked away.

Now, almost the entire village, including kids, teenagers, middle-aged n, won, and the elderly, was present. They thought coming together would increase the chance of Zephyr accepting their apology. Exhaling softly, they waited for the door to open.

Just as they wished, the person inside opened the door after a few seconds.

"What is it?" Rubbing his sleepy eyes, the man shouted as he opened the door.

Seeing the hundreds of villagers crowding outside, he panicked. But quickly cald himself and fixed his posture.

Then, with an air of superiority, he asked again.

"What is it?" He paid special attention to his voice to sound more majestic and solemn.

As a four-star interdiate mage and heir apparent of the Malverin house, Cedric had to show his nobility through every action.

"Why is everyone here?"

Though initially annoyed, he later changed the tone to sothing pleasant after glancing over to their side. He mistakenly believed they were here to welco him.

The villagers and the new chief were perplexed to see an unfamiliar face opening the door.

In his confusion, the chief asked.

"Is Sir Zephyr inside?"

"Zephyr!" Cedric repeated, gritting his teeth.

The na invoked boundless anger from the deepest part of his soul.

"Yes." The chief didn’t notice the change in Cedric’s tone. "We would like to apologise to him. Also, we would like to thank him for saving our lives."

"Huh! Apologise...thank" Cedric’s expression twisted into a deep frown.

Then he shouted explosively.

"F*CK OFF." Losing all sense of rationality, consud by anger, he scread.

The chief stepped back instinctively. Still, the saliva sprayed over fell onto his face, causing him to close his eyes abruptly. Losing balance, he almost fell.

However, Cedric didn’t care about that and slamd his clenched fist, reinforced with mana, into the doorway.

"Thump."

The entire house shook slightly. Dust fell off the sides of the wall and roof.

Shedding his noble pretense, he began to speak.

"F*CK OFF FROM HERE. I don’t want to see any of you here again." He gritted his teeth and slamd the door shut.

"THUMP."

The entire house trembled again.

Cedric hated Zephyr for no reason, but his hate turned to boundless fury when Zephyr turned him into a fool during the trial. And as if that weren’t humiliation enough, Zolt later punished him by assigning him to guard the west coast and forcing him to stay there until the lighthouse was rebuilt.

So, he absolutely hated the na being ntioned around him. Thus, the villagers who ca to apologise and thank Zephyr trigger this reaction.

anwhile, the chief turned around in panic. With blood draining from his face, he walked back to the villagers who stood outside.

Holding back his fear, he began to speak.

"Sir, Zephyr does not seem to be inside. And his friend...he doesn’t seem to like us."

The mont he stopped, a person scread from inside the house.

"AAARRRRAAHHH."

"FUUUCKKKOOFFF."

Everyone who heard it felt like an abomination worse than the godspawn was awakening inside. Their hearts leaped out of their chest as they took a step back.

"Let’s leave." The chief quickly said and made the villager turn back.

Cedric, who heard the chief ntion Zephyr as his friend, was grinding his teeth in pure madness. His eyes turned red as he sat there on the bed silently.

"He is my enemy... my nesis, damn it."

He shouted.
