Upon hearing her na, the servant imdiately put down the phone to announce her arrival.

A mont later, Duchess Caroline’s voice appeared on the other end of the phone.

"Your Highness, I am Gan Yuan. I apologize for the interruption, but I have sothing I would like to ask for your assistance with."

"Go ahead."

On the other end, Duchess Caroline’s voice was calm.

At this hour, if it weren’t for sothing extrely urgent, Gan Yuan certainly wouldn’t be calling her.

Following that, Gan Yuan dialed one number after another, calling almost everyone whose na was stored on her phone.

Lives are at stake, there’s no ti to worry about manners; as long as there’s the slightest possibility, she doesn’t want to pass it up.

anwhile, everyone, including Huangfu Jue, Abel, Helen, and Jessica, was mobilizing all their resources to search for a heart for Moses.

At four-thirty in the morning, when Jessica returned to the hospital, Will’s surgery had just been successfully completed, and he was being wheeled out of the operating room and into the patient ward.

Compared to Moses, he’s much luckier. Though he has two wounds, they are not life-threatening; it’s only due to blood loss that he appears physically weak.

"Is he alright?"

Jessica followed the dical staff to see Will into the ward and imdiately inquired of the doctor.

"All vital signs are normal now. It’s just that he lost a lot of blood, so it might take so ti before he regains consciousness."

Jessica’s gaze moved over to his left leg. "How about his leg?"

The doctor offered her a reassuring smile, "The wound isn’t in a critical area; as long as he takes care of muscle stretching and exercise later on, it won’t affect his physical functions."

Hearing the doctor say this, Jessica finally breathed a sigh of relief.

For a man born in a military family, any disability in his leg would be a lifelong distress.

Thankfully, he’s alright!

Previously, busy running around for Moses, although worried about Will, she couldn’t be by his side for the surgery, only able to arrange for two bodyguards to protect his safety.

Now, everyone who could be instructed is already trying to figure things out, so she finally has the chance to co and see him.

Standing by the bedside, Jessica’s gaze swept over the man’s face, quickly grabbing the wet tissue from the table, carefully wiping the blood stains from his cheeks.

At this mont, he remains unconscious, his face lacking color, completely relaxed, showing less of the rigidity from his usual dressed-up self, with long eyelashes casting a hint of childlike innocence.

Gently wiping away the bloodstains at the corner of his lips, Jessica softly caressed his side cheek.

"Fool!"

The man calmly did not respond, only the sound of his heartbeat and pulse ca from the instrunt at one side.

Jessica straightened up, wanting to turn away but stopping her steps, raising her palm to take the cross from her neck, attaching it to his, carefully placing the cross on his chest, she gently tugged at the thin blanket.

"Sleep well, I will check on the gentleman’s situation and co back to see you." Turning and walking out of the ward, she imdiately instructed the two people outside the door, "Take good care of him, inform imdiately if anything happens. Also, inform once he wakes up."

"Yes, Miss Jessica." The bodyguards imdiately replied.

Glancing at Will on the bed, Jessica turned around and rushed upstairs towards Moses’ ward.
