“You…” the butler took a deep breath, filled with anger yet helpless, “people who are so ungrateful like you will not end well!”
Turning around, he walked heavily and quickly down the stairs.
As the sound of his steps faded, Moses stood up and paced to the window. He watched through the blinds as the butler carried a small suitcase out of the house, got into a car, and drove away from the manor until he was out of sight.
