483: Chapter 484: The Red Tattoo 483: Chapter 484: The Red Tattoo Looking at the tightly closed apartnt door, Jessica pulled a hairpin from her hair and deftly picked the lock as if it were nothing, easily unlocking the door.

She pushed the door open and stepped into the living room.

Inside, the light was on, casting a glow over a ssy living room.

It was clear that the apartnt’s owner must be the type who liked to stay in but didn’t care much for tidying up, with various kinds of convenience food littering the table and trash everywhere on the ground and on surfaces.

The apartnt had two bedrooms, with one door open and the lights off, and another door slightly ajar, from which faint music and the sounds of fighting could be heard.

Jessica turned and walked over to the slightly open door, drawing the gun from her side with her left hand as she gently pushed the door open with her palm; it swung open silently, imdiately letting in a beam of bright light.

Directly across from the door, two video ga characters were battling it out on three screens, while the computer desk was cluttered with coffee cups and snacks like chips.

A shaggy head was lying on the desk, whether asleep or otherwise, completely unaware that several uninvited guests had intruded into his ho.

A few people tiptoed over, and Jessica pointed her gun at the back of the man’s head.

“Ti to wake up!”

The man still lay on the table without any reaction, so Jessica poked the back of his head with her gun, and his body just wobbled before a liquid flowed out from beneath his head.

In the flickering light from the computer screens, the liquid took on a sinister color, and the air was filled with a sweet and slightly putrid sll—blood!

Jessica slightly raised her eyebrow and reached out, grabbing the man’s hair and pulling his head back to reveal a knife wound above his coffee.

She felt the man’s body with her finger and then turned towards the doorway.

The body was still warm, and the coffee on the table was still steaming; this indicated that the killer hadn’t left for long.

As she turned around, she was t by the dark muzzle of a gun, behind which was Will’s cold gaze fixed on her as he sharply commanded.

“Put the gun down!”

“FACK!”

Jessica cursed and carelessly tossed the gun she was holding onto the table.

Will gave a slight nod of his chin, and a subordinate stepped forward to grab her arm.

As soon as he touched her clothing, Jessica suddenly twisted and caught his wrist, grabbing his throat to shield herself, and raised the gun she had taken, ready to shoot.

“Get out of the way!”

Will pushed his associate away and leaped out the door.

As the bullet whizzed past, barely missing Will’s head, a bodyguard rushed out, raising his gun to return fire, only to have it kicked away by a foot clad in high heels.

As Jessica was about to fire at her colleague, Will lunged forward, kicking her gun away and tackling her to the ground.

Raising his gun to her face, he pressed down on her shoulder.

Jessica instinctively strugged, tearing open her fitted T-shirt to reveal her bare shoulder and a swirl of snow-white skin.

Noticing the red tattoo on her chest, Will was taken aback.

That tattoo…

Taking advantage of his distraction, Jessica punched him away and made for the exit as he aid the gun at her.

“Don’t move!”

The assassin from the hospital was already dead; they needed to keep a live one this ti, or all leads would be lost.

“If you dare to shoot, I’ll kill him!”

With a smirk, Jessica shook her left hand, which held a sharp dagger.

The point of the blade was now pressed against the neck of the bodyguard Will had brought.

“Let’s see who’s faster, handso!”
