General Arthur glared at him fiercely, "You want to curry favor with a little girl?"

The adjutant chuckled, "Of course, I don’t an that. I just think this is an opportunity. If the General makes a contribution this ti, we will have enough leverage to expand our power in the future."

"Precisely because of this, I cannot act rashly." He looked up at the distant sky, squinting his eyes under his cap, "Unless that little girl cos to see personally!"

"General!" The caddie nodded his head towards the distance, "Senator Wilson is back."

This ti, it was Wilson who intentionally invited Arthur to play golf. Using his ti at the restroom just now, General Arthur had secretly hit the ball several tis but failed to deliver a good shot.

General Arthur nonchalantly waved his hand, "Put my ball back."

Since the other party wasn’t here, he decided to give it another try.

The caddie brought another ball and placed it at his previous hitting spot, handing the club back to him.

General Arthur took a deep breath, lifted the club in his hand, and swung it again.

Thwack!

The ball flew out once again, this ti directly into the woods.

Everyone knew it was definitely a miss and silently sighed in their hearts.

General Arthur was not good at this sport, yet he always liked to play. If he didn’t make a good shot, he would get angry and then lose his temper with his aides and the caddie, so every ti he ntioned playing golf, everyone frowned but dared not contradict him.

Watching the ball fly into the woods, Arthur was so angry that he threw the golf club away. He hadn’t made a good shot all day, and his patience had reached its limit.

This ti, the two had a bet. Losing a little or a lot didn’t matter; the key thing was that he didn’t want to lose!

The club hit the ground, stirring up a cloud of dirt, yet cheers ca from the woods.

A few people curiously shifted their focus and saw a girl in pure white golf attire walking out of the woods.

She stood against the light, her face obscured in the shadow of her cap edge, making it hard to see clearly, but one could see a slender and graceful figure. Her long hair tied in a ponytail glimred lightly in the sunlight, giving off a very sunny and vibrant feeling.

Even though her face was indistinct, she still gave off a bright impression.

"Was it you who hit the ball just now? It was beautiful, a hole-in-one!"

"Really?" General Arthur asked incredulously.

"Why don’t you co and see for yourself?" the girl laughed.

For the first ti in his life, a "hole-in-one," General Arthur’s heart skipped a beat, and he imdiately took strides over to the woods, rushing in with the adjutant and the caddie following behind.

Indeed, in a small clearing in the woods, there was a golf hole, and inside quietly lay a golf ball.

The caddie imdiately ran over, carefully examining the golf ball and then excitedly shouted, supporting himself on the grass.

"General, it’s your ball!"

Not just General Arthur, even the adjutant was excitedly rushing in, gathering around the tiny hole.

A hole-in-one was an absolutely brilliant shot for General Arthur, who was always diocre at golf.

"Quick, help take a photo for the mory!"

In high spirits, General Arthur took the club from the caddie’s hand and stood by the hole, "Rember, make sure to capture the golf ball, you hear?"

The adjutant hurriedly pulled out his phone to take a picture, the forty-sothing man even making a victory sign.
