Chapter 294: Chapter 273: Trial Civilizations Gather!

“`

This was Frey’s awareness, but it was also the fact.

Shen Hao had noticed it as well.

The malice hidden in these council mbers’ hearts was, in fact, the result of their polluted souls harboring an innate fear and awe of higher beings.

However, it indeed interfered with Shen Hao’s actions.

Otherwise, they only needed to stand under the starlight like Frey and pray for his help insincerely, and through this connection, he could directly resolve the pollution they were facing.

...

Nevertheless, although it was a bit of a hassle, it was not a big issue.

Having reached the Fourth Stage, Shen Hao now had a certain confidence in this trial.

“Prepare the list for the envoy group,” Shen Hao ordered, “Choose only the Chosen Ones with Purple Epic or higher Talent!”

The mission, though aid at resolving the crisis of the Justice Federation, was not as simple as it seed.

Because the test civilizations heading to the Justice Federation were not just one.

This would beco an opportunity for Human Civilization to formally step onto the stage and likewise serve as a milestone of this trial!

The list was quickly decided upon.

Liu Ruoxi, along with a man nad Zorf, were also included.

Liu Ruoxi, needless to say, had received one of the only three Golden Legendary Talent Promotion slots from Shen Hao and had beco the strongest Chosen One in Human Civilization, capable of “solo combat,” next to Shen Hao himself.

Zorf, on the other hand, was another recipient of the slot.

He was a Mao Country person and had beco a Chosen One in the last trial as “the most excellent doctor” with a Purple Epic Talent called [Holy Power] right from the start.

This was an exceptionally special Talent, quite similar to what one might see in fantasy works known as “Holy Light”!

It had an extrely powerful effect in healing and support.

Yes, this was a Chosen One who specialized in various auxiliary abilities.

Shen Hao chose him, mainly considering Talent synergy.

Choosing Liu Ruoxi was the sa reasoning.

Based purely on rit, the most powerful Chosen Ones all had similar achievents, but there were only three promotion slots, and at a ti when the number of Golden Legendary Talents was still fairly small in Human Civilization, the practical effect of this promotion list was greater than its motivational influence.

Zorf had been personally examined by Shen Hao, had a character that t the standards, a will that was firm, and was sufficiently loyal to himself, fully deserving of this status.

Besides, his strength had also reached Level 30!

Together with Liu Ruoxi, they were only a step away from Level 31.

On the night before their departure, Shen Hao moved the two of them into Lingxiao Palace.

“How much longer do you need to achieve a breakthrough?” Shen Hao asked directly, cutting to the chase.

“Given sufficient resources, I need three more months,” Liu Ruoxi was the first to respond.

The speed of strength enhancent was related to one’s innate Talent and Profession but even more so to resources.

In the past five and a half years, everyone had been able to cultivate smoothly and quickly, advancing in levels.

But at that ti, the Chosen One Mall’s level was only 26.

When many Chosen Ones and Cultivators reached Level 26, the resources started to fall short.

The pace of advancent also began to slow down.

Liu Ruoxi and others had gradually brought their levels up to 28 or 29 under such circumstances.

Recently however, with the rapid increase in the Chosen One Mall’s level along with the rise in the tier and quality of resources, they were able to successfully reach Level 30 with the accumulation of excellent resources.

Yet even so, they were still a significant distance away from the crucial Level 31.

Otherwise, even more powerful Trial Civilizations would not have only dozens or hundreds of individuals at that level.

“I need at least half a year,” said Zorf, whose fra was lean and did not possess the robust build of a Mao Country person, requiring even more ti than Liu Ruoxi.

Unless they reached the Eleventh-level Mall, only then could the ti be accelerated.

However, Shen Hao already had a simpler thod at this point.

“This ti, you will represent Human Civilization in a direct interaction with the other six Trial Civilizations. Therefore, your strength level is very important,” Shen Hao said. “We can’t let the other civilizations see our true capabilities. I will use a special thod to temporarily raise your strength to Level 31 and maintain it.”

“Yes!” The two responded solemnly.

Even faced with such startling news, there were no questions.

They had both blind trust and worship for Shen Hao.

However, Shen Hao could indeed accomplish this feat.

“Let’s begin,” Shen Hao said. “Within the depths of your consciousness, there is an image of . Start visualizing it in your mind now.”

The two sat down cross-legged and did as instructed.

Just as Shen Hao had said, after his breakthrough to the Fourth Stage, his connection with the entire civilization and all individuals within it had beco much closer.

“`

Even the ability “Divine Descent” had exhibited different performances compared to before.

Not only could it directly enhance one’s own power, but it could also fuse one’s power with theirs!

In fact, a complete fusion could also be achieved.

But if that were the case, their levels would be limited by Shen Hao’s level.

That would be unnecessary, after all, the pace at which Shen Hao’s level increased was not considered fast.

By the next morning, when Liu Ruoxi and Zorf arrived at the envoy’s spaceship, everyone felt the change in them.

Especially Liu Ruoxi!

Originally, Liu Ruoxi’s deanor was very restrained. Her status as a Chosen One was masked by her world-class beauty—and to other species incapable of appreciating human appearance, her threat level might not even compare to an average Transcendent at the third stage.

But now, it was entirely different!

Liu Ruoxi exuded an aura that was intimidating to behold. Everyone who looked at her could feel an authoritative sharpness aid at them, as if representing supre authority, ready to te out punishnt at any mont!

Even the few individuals who had also reached Level 29 or even Level 30 were sowhat fearful and unable to look her directly in the eye.

“Rember, this is our normal strength, the Extraordinary Fourth Stage!” Liu Ruoxi glanced at everyone and declared.

“Yes!” All eyes widened as they responded in unison, each filled with a hint of surprise.

They were naturally aware of their mission and understood the shortcomings of their own civilization when facing other Trial Civilizations, but now, having two Chosen Ones who had reached the Fourth Stage made things much easier!

Not to ntion being of the sa level.

As long as they were at the sa stage, there would be nothing to fear!

The President was behind them!

Zorf took over the command: “Now, I am the Emperor High Priest, and Liu Ruoxi is the Emperor Judge. Let’s set off!”

This, of course, was not an official title but an explanation for outsiders.

The reason was simple.

They were now rallying under the banner of the “Star Dominator.”

The sudden appearance of those seven stars in the universe certainly added a lot of depth to human civilization, especially in terms of “prestige!”

Even Trial Civilizations might not guess that such mysterious and powerful stars originated from a Chosen One who was rely Level 31!

Aboard the spaceship, Zorf once again went over the background setting with the others, even selecting a portion to also serve as “Priests.”

He actually portioned out so of his Talent Ability.

This caused a divine radiance to surge around these individuals as well.

However, just as they set off, the Justice Federation was already convening an official welco ceremony.

Naturally, it was not held specifically for the envoys of human civilization, but gathered all the envoys from Hidden Civilizations that had been invited!

At the mont, five delegations were gathered together.

They had been in the Justice Federation’s initial star system for so ti and had conducted so investigations of each other. But now, standing together, they did not draw too close. Instead, they ford five distinct groups, keeping a watchful eye on each other.

After all, they were aware.

The term “Hidden Civilizations” was sowhat of a misnor; all those present were Trial Civilizations!

The relationships between Trial Civilizations were complex.

There was obvious competition, and they understood each other’s strengths, even with the ability to take other civilizations as Affiliated Civilizations!

Yet in the face of terrible crises, sotis they had to cooperate.

And even at necessary tis, establish a solid alliance front.

The Cangling Civilization was one of these five civilizations, evidently attaching great importance to this gathering. In a ti when every civilization was frantically scoring points, they sent no fewer than five Divine-level Beastmasters of Level 31 and above.

Leading them was one of the only two Chosen Ones with a Golden Legendary Talent from the Beast Master Association!

Nad You Ming, he bore the title Netherworld King.

His Pet Beasts were all from the Netherworld System and the Undying System. His Golden Legendary Talent, “Undying King,” was related to undying abilities and, when paired with his Pet Beasts, was incredibly powerful. He was only a few levels behind the strongest Chosen One known as Mo Wen, the President of the Beast Master Association, in terms of strength.

Such was the level of attention from the Cangling Civilization.

However, when they truly gathered together, You Ming and the others realized that the other Trial Civilizations’ level of attention seed to match theirs!

You Ming possessed a Golden Legendary Ability called “Arena Simulation.”

This was actually a predictive-type ability that could simulate opponents and yield the outco of battles. It also aided in his own practice, and the closer he was to the entity being simulated, the more accurate the simulation’s outco would be to the real answer.

So, it was also a detection-type ability.

However, after You Ming surveyed the group, he was startled to find that there were at least seven individuals present who were stronger than him!
