Run Away After Flirting: Get Lost, Mr. Attorney! Chapter 87: Don’t Be a Sore Loser, Come On, Keep Going
Sumr Nolan opened the wardrobe and saw two sets of her own clothes inside, which she had left here during a stay-over so ti ago.
Unexpectedly, he had washed them.
She took out the clothes and quickly put them on. Her stockings had been ripped by him yesterday afternoon and couldn’t be worn again. Today she could only show off her long, fair legs.
Quite eye-catching.
Elias Spencer’s gaze lingered on her legs for a few seconds, frowned, and asked in a deep voice, "Can’t you wear pants?"
"None of your business," Sumr gave him a glare and went to the washroom.
Elias also got out of bed and put on his clothes. Monts ago, he was exuding strong masculine hormones, appearing charmingly seductive, but as soon as he put on his crisp black suit, he imdiately beca aloof and restrained.
As the two brushed their teeth at the sink, Sumr looked at the man in the mirror and said indifferently, "Let’s pretend nothing happened last night."
But she would keep this incident noted in her mind first.
"Did you think sleeping with , Elias Spencer, would be for free?" He coldly glanced at her and asked.
"Don’t gain an advantage and still act like you’re being generous." She was annoyed. Last night, it was clearly him who forced himself on her, and now he’s saying it wasn’t for free?
"What, still thinking of going after Ian Sterling? So eager to marry into a wealthy family?" Elias asked, with a light laugh, looking at her in the mirror.
What did he an, marry into a wealthy family? She must seek revenge; her father couldn’t have died for nothing. The hardships her mother, her sisters, and she endured all these years shouldn’t have been in vain!
Sumr turned her head to look at him, didn’t explain, and thought, how could he understand the bitterness in her heart?
She quickly finished washing up and walked out.
Elias turned his head to look at her intently... If she knew that his background was better than Ian Sterling’s, would she regret it?
Would she co back begging for them to reconcile?
-
Three days later, Saturday.
The new house had been completely tidied by her mother, and the two of them were preparing to move in today.
Sumr, in her own bedroom, was listlessly packing clothes. She started in the morning, and it wasn’t finished by the afternoon.
Mrs. Nolan was outside, tidying up until she was sore and tired. She didn’t like doing housework at all, so she secretly sent a ssage to Attorney Spencer—
Asking if he had ti to co over and help?
More than half an hour later, Elias Spencer ca here with the servants.
Mrs. Nolan was especially happy to see that he brought along servants to help. "Really sorry to trouble you, Attorney Spencer, didn’t disturb your rest today, did it?"
"It’s okay," he said.
"You guys help with the packing," he said to the three servants.
"Okay, Mr. Spencer." The three responded and imdiately started working efficiently.
Sumr suddenly heard his voice and went out to take a look. Sure enough, he had co, and Mrs. Nolan imdiately said to her daughter:
"I called Attorney Spencer to co help. See, he even brought servants. Go make him a cup of coffee."
Ever since the incident last ti, she had been deliberately avoiding him. They had broken up, yet were intimate again and again. What was this about?
She glanced at Elias Spencer, "We can pack up by ourselves."
"The people are already here, and with so many things, you won’t get it done in three days if you can’t do housework," Elias said coldly, going to the pantry himself.
Mrs. Nolan couldn’t help but click her tongue, "Attorney Spencer really knows you. Not three days, even five days, we wouldn’t get it done."
"Can’t you be nicer to him? He ca to help and went to fetch water himself. If you keep this up, I’ll call him over every day!"
Sumr frowned. Sotis she was really afraid of her mother, so she went to the pantry quickly, glanced at the man standing coolly with one hand in his pocket by the coffee machine, and felt inexplicably stifled.
Why did he co to help?
"You go sit down, I’ll make it," she said.
Elias turned his head to look at her, knowing she had been deliberately avoiding him these past few days, and asked in a deep voice, "Made up with Ian Sterling these days?"
"I haven’t even looked for him." She crossed her arms and sneered, having not figured out how to deal with this matter yet.
That President Sterling seed gentle but turned out to have quite a personality. Ever since this man chased him away last ti, he hadn’t co to her again.
She also hadn’t run into him at Summit.
A bit tricky, indeed.
Thinking of this, she glared at the man again in annoyance, blaming him!
Elias heard her words, his eyebrows slightly raised—
After brewing the coffee, as soon as he poured it into the cup, Sumr picked it up and walked away, not letting him drink it!
Elias turned back to watch her, feeling helpless. No matter how much this woman was ’dealt with,’ she remained so annoyingly cheeky, never enough!
Sumr returned to her bedroom to continue packing her clothes, Elias walked in, looking at her room, ssy like a dump site, and felt his OCD acting up.
"It’s just packing stuff, how did you make the bedroom so ssy?"
She looked at him. Rather than standing there like a boss, she might as well find him sothing to do,
"Aren’t you here to help? What are you standing there for?"
Elias saw how listlessly she was doing it, the clothes in the suitcase folded so ugly and crumpled, couldn’t stand it, and went over to yank the clothes out of her hands and threw all the clothes in the suitcase out!
"What are you doing? That’s the result of hours of my hard work." She exclaid angrily.
"Takes you hours to fold this little bit, you even dare to say it," Elias said in a deep voice, starting to fold them for her.
Although he never did housework, he knew how to do it properly.
Standing by, Sumr watched him even fold floppy pajamas neatly, without a single crease, just like those folded by sales assistants in stores.
She blinked her eyes in surprise.
Moreover, he looked surprisingly handso doing housework!
A proper image of a good househusband.
Sumr was a bit tired, took a pack of sunflower seeds from outside, sat and lay directly on the ssy bed, crossing her long legs, swaying and swinging her feet carefree.
While munching on sunflower seeds, watching him fold clothes at the foot of the bed.
A hidden smile on her face... Well, quite satisfying.
Seeing the man who used to always oppose her, always above her, now working for her, how could she not be satisfied?
Elias raised his eyes, glanced at her, called in a deep voice, "What are you looking at, co and learn!"
"I’m just hopeless in this area, don’t waste your effort, you’re here to help, so act like it." Sumr cracked another sunflower seed, speaking self-deprecatingly.
"Stop talking nonsense, hurry and co over." He couldn’t stand her smug look.
"I’ve been tidying all morning, I’m tired, if you really need help, why not call Ian Sterling over?" She said deliberately.
Elias paused, his face darkened a bit, and he threw down the clothes in his hand, "Then let him co over."
Sumr saw him giving up so quickly, a row of black lines appeared on her forehead, imdiately crawled over, stuffing the clothes back into his hands while explaining,
"I’m just joking, don’t take it so seriously, co on, let’s continue... At worst, I’ll invite you for drinks tonight."
"Who wants your drinks?" Elias asked with a cold snort.
