Sumr Nolan glanced at him with irritation, put down her chopsticks, and went to the kitchen to get a porcelain spoon, feeding him a bite of vegetables and a bite of rice, disgruntled.

It’s just a hurt arm, yet he needs to be fed? Such a diva!

"Shrimp," Elias Spencer leaned lazily against the back of the chair, crossing his long legs, his hands resting casually on them, thoroughly enjoying her service.

His cool eyes had a faint hint of a smile.

Opportunities to have her obediently listening were rare, truly enjoyable, and gave a sense of achievent.

"So troubleso, have to peel the shells, eat sothing else," she said in a low voice.

"Shrimp have high nutritional value, wounds heal faster," he said.

Hearing this living ancestor, Sumr Nolan chuckled, fine, fine... he’s got a point! She wiped her hands with a nearby hot towel, patiently peeling the shrimp for him.

She had never been served like this before!!!

Her heart grew more and more dissatisfied.

Reflecting on the six months of their relationship, it was all about her accommodating him, pleasing him—

-

The next morning.

The elevator was packed with people; as it ascended, more and more people exited.

Standing on the far left, a man in a light gray tailored suit turned his head to scan the elevator and suddenly fixed his gaze on Sumr Nolan in a black business dress!

Is it her?

Is she an office worker in this building?

Not sure which company she’s with, but quite a coincidence.

Sumr Nolan stood with her arms crossed, looking ahead, not noticing him until the others had left, and she found one person remaining, turned her head, and—

She was surprised too—is it him?!

Is this man an employee of Summit?

"Are you an employee of Summit?"

Ian Sterling asked, one hand in his pocket. Summit is on the top floor, and since she’s going up with him, she must be an employee here.

"You guess?" Sumr Nolan asked, curling her lips.

He couldn’t help but laugh at an employee daring to speak to the boss like this; she must be newly hired and unaware of his identity?

He was eager to know if she’d still dare to extort so much money once she knew his identity.

"Then you guess what my identity is?" He glanced at her and said.

"Aren’t you just a rich second generation? So, are you here for the lifestyle experience?" Considering the size of this group, hiding so rich kids inside is normal.

Ian Sterling rely smiled without saying anything, the elevator doors dinged open, and they walked out together.

As they entered the foyer, the two secretaries saw the heir of the group, Ian Sterling, return and imdiately greeted him respectfully:

"Mr. Sterling, you’re back?"

Mr. Sterling? Sumr glared at the man, thinking of the chairman of the group, Sean Sterling—

"Mm." He responded in a low voice, asking the employees, "What’s her position? Have her co over to be my assistant."

Seeing her so arrogant and defiant, giving him the cold shoulder yesterday, she had to do this assistant job.

Let’s see if she still dares to be so haughty?

The two secretaries exchanged stiff smiles and answered trembling,

"Mr. Sterling, this is Attorney Nolan from Trisight Law Firm. She’s conducting a rger review for our group, not our employee."

Ian Sterling froze, she’s not an employee of his group?

A trace of disappointnt crossed his eyes.

"Are you Sean Sterling’s son?" Sumr directly addressed the old man’s na and asked.

Ian Sterling was sowhat surprised to hear her call his father like that, generally, people would respectfully address him as Chairman Sterling... she called him as if they had a grudge.

"Mm." He responded.

She couldn’t help but laugh, then this billion must be secured, the Sterling Family had swept away all the money from the Nolan Family!

"So it’s the famous Attorney Nolan, no wonder."

Even though Ian Sterling had been abroad for a year, he was still aware of so dostic news and had always heard that this woman was remarkable at litigation, and he got to witness her sharpness this ti.

For an ordinary woman, she wouldn’t dare to charge him so much over a dog.

"When are you giving the money?" Sumr Nolan asked directly.

"Noon, see you at Wells Western Restaurant," he said and left.

Near noon.

Sumr Nolan and Elias Spencer were still engrossed in review work when the conference room door suddenly opened, causing them both to glance over—

The man returned from abroad? Elias Spencer raised a brow at him; they weren’t best friends, but they were quite familiar.

The rich circle in Stenham isn’t that large.

"Long ti no see, Young Master Spencer," Ian greeted him, already inford by the secretaries about their joint rger.

His gaze swept over the nurous docunts on the table, silently admiring this woman, initially thought her just an ordinary office worker, didn’t expect her to be a lawyer.

"When did you co back?" Elias Spencer asked.

"The day before yesterday; want to grab a drink tonight?" he inquired.

"Not feeling well the past few days; let’s do it when I’m better," Elias Spencer replied.

Sumr Nolan looked at these two n... are they familiar?

"Then give a call when you’re ready," Ian Sterling said, looking at her, and with one hand in his pocket, walked to her side and asked:

"How long will you be here for the review?"

"About a month," she replied in a formal tone and reached for her cup, only to find it empty.

"Be detailed; this rger is important for Summit. It’s okay if it takes longer," he said.

"Rest assured, Mr. Sterling; I’ll definitely be more ’mindful’ of this case compared to others," Sumr Nolan smirked at him, as she had been investigating Summit’s background these days.

Ian Sterling looked at her, feeling like there was a hidden aning in her words, was he overthinking?

Surely he’s overthinking it. If the acquisition didn’t go through, it wouldn’t reflect well on her or Elias Spencer’s reputation. She shouldn’t have any ulterior motives.

"Attorney Nolan, let’s go, there’ll be too many people later," he said.

Sumr Nolan glanced at the ti on her wrist, only a few minutes to clock out, but compared to a billion, she’d undoubtedly choose the forr!

Across the table, Elias Spencer watched them... how co he didn’t know they knew each other?

"When did you guys et?"

"t yesterday while walking dogs; Attorney Nolan left a deep impression on ," Ian Sterling gave her a deep look and said with a smile.

t while walking dogs yesterday? No wonder she ca back so late, turns out she was outside eting a man, yet lied about Elias not wanting to return...

"Only t yesterday, and already going on a date today?"

"Why not? Attorney Spencer, we’ll head out first," Sumr Nolan smiled at him, picked up her belongings, and walked out with the man.

Wasn’t he also fooling around with his assistant? Sumr Nolan had long wanted to flaunt another man to him.

Wells Western Restaurant.

She was unreservedly ordering the most expensive set als and wine in the restaurant, thinking if she didn’t take advantage of the Sterling Family’s money, it would be a pity.

Ian Sterling knew it was intentional, still upset that his dog mounted her dog?

He didn’t say anything and ordered the sa set al.

"Check or bank transfer?" After ordering, Sumr Nolan asked directly without small talk.
