Renowned Attorney Spencer was completely controlled by her words "be good"!

He stared at her blankly for several seconds.

But he didn’t want to forgive her so easily—

He deliberately threw her hand away coldly, "My bodyguard will handle it."

Sumr Nolan insisted on grabbing his hand again, "What does he, a big man, know? And isn’t it quite ambiguous for a man to do such delicate work for another man?

People who don’t know might think you two have sothing going on."

Elias Spencer and the bodyguard both fell silent, imagining that scenario in their heads, they shivered with goosebumps all over—

Sumr Nolan imdiately turned and dismissed the bodyguard: "You may leave now."

The bodyguard glanced at Young Master Spencer, seeing him remain silent, wisely left. Though Young Master Spencer usually appeared aloof and hard to approach, he was actually quite proud.

Sumr Nolan swiftly pulled out the styptic cotton and gently pressed it on his wound. Seeing so much blood flowing, the cotton quickly got soaked through, and she frowned, damn that Ethan Quinn—

If she didn’t teach him a lesson, she wouldn’t be Sumr Nolan!

"How did you make the wound bleed again?"

Elias Spencer maintained his composed deanor, glanced at the wound, but didn’t answer her question, unwilling to forgive her so quickly. After all, who ignored him last night?

Whose fault was it that he got injured?

And she even turned off her phone—

Sumr Nolan, seeing that he still ignored her, felt quite helpless. He was always hard to pacify; it would take him days to cool down. Really, in their relationship, she was the one who always had to appease him.

Now that they broke up, she still had to appease him.

If she didn’t, she would seem ungrateful, since he was injured because of her and even got into trouble with her ex-boss.

"Ahem... Does it hurt?" she asked intentionally, trying to make conversation.

Elias Spencer crossed his long legs and leaned back against the chair, looking at her with a face that scread "What do you think?"

"Then don’t work today, go ho and rest. Wait until the swelling goes down," she said, changing the cotton and continuing to gently press on the wound.

"Weren’t you the one telling to be mindful of work hours? I’ve already taken half the agency fee," he finally spoke, but his tone was dripping with sarcasm.

"Ahem... there are exceptions to everything, right? C’mon, don’t be mad..." She nudged him playfully, having no choice but to coax him.

Stubborn man—

-

When work ended that afternoon,

Sumr Nolan proactively left early to avoid staying late with that man. While packing up, she reminded him:

"Be careful when you get ho, don’t let Elias lick the wound."

She asked him to go ho and rest in the morning, and he still hadn’t left.

Renowned Attorney Spencer continued to look at the files in front of him, sitting coldly and motionless, showing no intention of leaving.

Sumr Nolan glanced at him, walked over to take the contract in front of him, and while helping him shut down the computer, she said,

"Anyway, the work won’t finish, take your ti. Is your bodyguard downstairs or should I take you ho?"

Considering he got hurt because of her, she could only continue to appease him.

Renowned Attorney Spencer glanced at her, said nothing, but stood up, took the briefcase she had packed, and left. Walking out of the conference room, he took out his phone from his trouser pocket and sent a ssage.

Following behind, Sumr Nolan raised her hand, really felt like hitting him, muttering under her breath: "Ugh, why didn’t you ever appease like this when you made angry?"

During the day, he sits there like a cold-faced master. She has to run back and forth ten or twenty tis to pour him hot water, and yet he’s still sitting there with a cold face while drinking the water she poured.

In the elevator, more and more people crowded in, and Sumr Nolan pushed him to the corner, shielding him with her body.

Can’t let him get injured again, or how long would she have to pay off the debt of gratitude?

She really didn’t want to keep offering warmness in exchange for indifference—

The elevator finally reached the first floor. As they walked to his car, Sumr Nolan didn’t see his bodyguard and frowned. Really not here?

Forget it, she would take him ho.

"Why not take my car? After dropping you off, it’ll be easier for to go ho," she said as she looked at him.

Renowned Attorney Spencer didn’t say anything, pulled open the driver’s side door, and was about to get in. Sumr Nolan hurriedly got in first, she really was speechless with this stubborn man,

"Fine, fine, I’ll drive your car and take you ho, Renowned Attorney Spencer isn’t used to other people’s cars."

"If Attorney Nolan is so unwilling to take , then don’t. I can drive myself back," he said coldly, looking at her.

"Who said I’m not willing? I’m more than willing, just get in the car."

Sumr Nolan put on a big smile, suppressing her frustration inside. Once she repaid him, she wouldn’t want to bother with him anymore.

Renowned Attorney Spencer withdrew his gaze from her face, opened the back door, and got in like an emperor, crossing his long legs and resting his head on the headrest, closing his eyes slightly.

She glanced at him through the rearview mirror, silently pouted, started the car, and smoothly drove out. The road was a bit congested, taking more than an hour to reach his ho.

After getting out of her car, she directly stuffed the car keys into his trouser pocket,

"I’m taking a cab back. Be careful not to lay on your wound when sleeping tonight. If it doesn’t work, you can call your girlfriend over to take care of you. Iris Lynn is pretty good at that."

"Who said she’s my girlfriend?" Renowned Attorney Spencer asked.

Sumr Nolan couldn’t help but smile when she heard him. Just a few days ago, he personally said he was happier with Iris Lynn than with her.

That sentence was like a sharp knife stabbing into her heart. She loved this man to her bones, but he didn’t feel the sa for her.

That remark was saying she wasn’t as good as Iris Lynn.

Sumr Nolan didn’t want to provoke him at this mont, so she just nodded perfunctorily, "Mm, if you say she’s not, then she’s not."

"You don’t believe ?" Elias Spencer looked at her, frowned, and asked.

"I believe you, I do. Now go on, I’m leaving." Sumr Nolan crossed her arms and was about to leave when he suddenly said, "Co make dinner."

"You want to make dinner?" she asked in surprise.

"Yes." He nodded in agreent.

"Better have your girlfriend cook for you. My cooking is so bad; you don’t need to suffer through it."

Sumr Nolan told him earnestly. He had praised Iris Lynn’s cooking so many tis.

If it’s good, ask the current girlfriend to make it, right? Asking an ex to do it doesn’t seem appropriate.

"I said she isn’t," Elias Spencer replied annoyed, staring at her, his tone more intense.

"Okay, okay, she isn’t." Sumr Nolan didn’t argue with him. Whether she was or wasn’t had nothing to do with her.

"But I really can’t cook. Why not order yourself sothing at a restaurant?"

"Then go, and don’t co back again." Elias Spencer finished coldly and went to the apartnt lobby.

Was he angry again?

Sumr Nolan silently waved goodbye to him again, really wanted to go up and hit him a few tis!

Still, she followed him, holding back, just to check on Elias too.

Wondering how his injury was?

At the elevator entrance, Elias Spencer turned to look at her following him, "Didn’t I tell you to leave?"

"You’re injured because of , it’s only right I take care of you, right? As long as you can eat what I cook, I can do it," Sumr Nolan said with a smile.
