Run Away After Flirting: Get Lost, Mr. Attorney! Chapter 189: Could I Really Be Pregnant?
"What do you an your stomach feels unwell? Could it be that you’re pregnant?" Mrs. Nolan suspected, hadn’t her daughter slept with Attorney Spencer a while ago?
As she spoke, she headed to the bathroom, patting her daughter’s back while asking, "Are you pregnant?"
After Sumr finished vomiting, she felt a bit fatigued. After flushing the toilet, she rinsed her mouth and washed her hands before asking, "Pregnant with what?"
"Silly girl, of course, pregnant with a child. How long has it been since you last had your period? The child should be Attorney Spencer’s, right?" Mrs. Nolan asked, a bit excited.
If Attorney Spencer found out, surely the two of them could make up, right?
Hearing her mother’s words, Sumr’s heart pounded heavily, and her face turned pale with fright. She hadn’t had her period for two months, thinking it was just a delay, an irregularity.
However, it might really just be a delay.
"Mom, don’t scare . It’s just a delay in my period. The vomiting is just because of an upset stomach."
"I don’t believe it. Since we have ti now, I’ll buy a pregnancy test for you." Mrs. Nolan said excitedly and was about to go out to buy so things when Sumr pulled her back.
"It’s really just my stomach feeling unwell, stop jumping to conclusions."
"You’ll know for sure once we test it." Mrs. Nolan broke free from her hand, promptly walking out.
Sumr frowned, could it really be that she’s pregnant? But... she hasn’t finished her plan for revenge. If she truly is pregnant, she can’t let her mother know, nor Ian Sterling.
And certainly not Elias Spencer!
Otherwise, how could she carry out her plan?
She paused for a mont and told her sister, "I suddenly rembered an urgent work matter that needs handling. You have lunch on your own, I have to head out."
"Sis, are you just pretending not to want to test?" Vivian looked at her and asked.
"I really do have urgent work to deal with." With that, she fled the hospital and drove straight to the police station, especially since she felt a bit nauseous and couldn’t eat anyway.
Better to get the important tasks done first.
Upon arriving at the police station, Sumr first sought out Chase Spencer to ask, "Raymond Dawson’s wife is still temporarily detained, right?"
"Yes, her attitude is pretty bad. She got into another fight with that Iris Lynn at the station this morning and refused to apologize. Why are you asking?" Chase Spencer asked.
"I’m planning to represent her as her attorney. I want to et her." She replied.
"I heard her husband is a lawyer, isn’t he your colleague? You’re diving into this ss?" He had seen today’s news too; it was pretty complicated, and that mistress Iris quite deserved the beating.
"As long as there’s money to be made, who cares about the ss." Sumr laughed.
Chase Spencer nodded, went to bring the person to the interrogation room, and afterwards Sumr went inside. Mrs. Dawson recognized her, knowing she was her husband’s associate.
"What are you here for?"
Sumr sat down across the table and directly asked, "Do you want to divorce your husband?"
"Why are you asking this?" Mrs. Dawson couldn’t bear to leave her husband. If he turned things around, she would definitely forgive him.
They were both so old and had been married for so many years. She still loved him, surely he was just temporarily infatuated with that vixen.
"Your husband plans to put you in jail. If you don’t fight back, not only will you go to jail, but you won’t get a penny. If you’re not thinking for yourself, you should at least think about your son." From Mrs. Dawson’s hesitant expression, Sumr knew she was soft-hearted.
"No way, he wouldn’t. You’re trying to help that vixen, aren’t you? So I can divorce him and let them be together?" Mrs. Dawson angrily asked.
Sumr was done with idle chatter and directly took out a recording pen, turning it on. It played a conversation between Raymond Dawson and Iris Lynn—
Mrs. Dawson, hearing that they truly planned to send her to prison, was utterly shocked and deeply disappointed, sitting there for a long ti.
He actually didn’t consider their son at all, just to be with that vixen?
"Just tell what to do with this case."
"Right now, Iris Lynn is accusing you of intentionally causing harm. She claims she was assaulted at noon, with fake witnesses to fra you. You need to file a lawsuit with the court ahead of her." Sumr told her.
"Sue that little fox and have her thrown into prison?" Mrs. Dawson asked.
"No, directly file for a divorce against your husband, ensuring he leaves with nothing. When he’s broke, how will Iris Lynn want him? By then, he’ll surely see the true nature of that woman and co pleading to you."
While saying this, Sumr thought to herself, considering Raymond Dawson’s ruthless character and his infatuated foolishness with Iris Lynn, how could he possibly co pleading to his wife?
He would only think of ways to get rid of her!
It’s best to let them fight among themselves, and then throw that old fox in jail.
"Alright, I’ll listen to you." Mrs. Dawson agreed.
"Mrs. Dawson, my attorney fees amount to two billion. Paynt upfront, can you accept this?" She asked again, knowing it wouldn’t hurt to take so of Dawson’s money.
"Are you robbing ?" She angrily asked.
"Then, suit yourself. Do you want to be sent to jail by your husband and his mistress, struggling day by day? When you co out, you’ll have nothing, reducing to begging on the streets with your son? Or do you want them to face retribution?" After saying this, Sumr stood up, ready to leave.
"I can find another lawyer!"
She paused, turned back with a smile, "Your husband has been in the legal world for decades, he has plenty of tricks up his sleeve. Can a lawyer you find beat him? Suit yourself."
After saying this, she walked towards the door.
Mrs. Dawson frowned. She knew this woman was a formidable lawyer, seemingly having only lost to Elias Spencer twice...
Elias Spencer wouldn’t help her; he never got along with her husband and certainly wouldn’t ddle in such matters.
"Wait a minute, fine, as long as you win this case for !" She called out imdiately in a deep voice.
Sumr’s hand pulled away from the door handle, turning back to say:
"I’ll bail you out now, sign the contract and make the paynt this afternoon. I’ll file the lawsuit imdiately, otherwise it will beco your case against Iris Lynn."
"Okay." She could only agree.
"Also, our contract needs to be kept confidential. Don’t let anyone know." Sumr reminded again.
"Got it." Mrs. Dawson responded.
"By the way, Iris Lynn is currently staying in Room 1505 at the First People’s Hospital. Your husband is there taking care of her without leaving her side. Don’t go seeking her out now." Sumr intentionally inford her, aiming to provoke tensions between her and Raymond Dawson.
Her husband having an affair was one thing, but parading his affection with that vixen so boldly? Mrs. Dawson felt her anger rising to the point of wanting to imdiately tear that couple apart!
She couldn’t believe she still wanted to reconcile with him...
Once I’m out, she thought, I’ll personally teach that vixen a lesson!

After Sumr finished her business, she felt a bit hungry and went to a small restaurant near the police station, with her bodyguard, who was driving her, joining her inside.
She borrowed so bodyguards from Elias Spencer, keeping one for herself, assigning one to her mom, and leaving two at the hospital to work shifts.
The bodyguard sat at another table, ordering a few side dishes just like her. Young Master Spencer had already instructed them to ensure their safety.
As soon as the food arrived, Sumr picked up her chopsticks, ready to eat. But as soon as she caught a whiff of the oil, she couldn’t help but feel nauseous again! It was a strong feeling of nausea.
She hurriedly covered her mouth and nose, trying hard to suppress it. What’s going on? Could she truly be pregnant?
