"The plan is good, but the one leaving the firm is likely to be Iris Lynn. How could Raymond Dawson possibly leave?" Elias Spencer said in a low voice.

"Then let’s make Iris Lynn leave first. As for Raymond Dawson, I’ve already thought of a way not only to make him leave the firm but also to send him to jail," Sumr Nolan said.

Elias Spencer was puzzled by her words. Why would she want to send Raymond Dawson to jail? It didn’t seem like they had any deep-seated hatred.

"Why do you want to send Raymond Dawson to jail?"

"That’s my business. Don’t concern yourself with it." She glanced at the man and took another sip of coffee.

"So, what is the plan you’re talking about?" Elias Spencer asked again.

"That’s for to handle." Sumr Nolan said.

Wasn’t she recruited by Raymond Dawson? He even gave her shares. What was her motive for teaching him a lesson? Elias Spencer really couldn’t figure it out.

"How about we have a staff gathering tomorrow night and start taking action earlier?" she asked.

"Alright," Elias Spencer responded.

"Then you can leave now. We’ve already discussed everything we needed to." Sumr Nolan dismissed him.

"Your mother went grocery shopping and told to stay for dinner." When he ca, he had bought her mother jewelry worth millions and beauty health supplents, so Mrs. Nolan took Vivian to the market herself.

"You just ate here last night, and you’re eating here again tonight? Aren’t you embarrassed to keep coming here every night?" Sumr Nolan nudged him with her toe and asked with a snort.

"I can’t help it. Your mother is too hospitable. I would feel bad refusing her." Elias Spencer said with a helpless expression, not ntioning anything about his gifts.

Sumr Nolan put down her coffee cup, grabbed his hand, and pulled him up, "You should hurry back to your own house! Don’t even think about staying here tonight!"

"Do you still want to stay here tonight as well?"

He asked with a smirk, and his arm suddenly pulled back. Sumr Nolan lost control and fell into his arms, angrily hitting him. Just as she was about to move away, she was suddenly wrapped around the waist by his long arm.

She ended up sitting awkwardly on his lap—

"Elias Spencer!" she angrily hit his shoulder again, "Get lost, who wants you to keep staying here? Take your hands off!"

"Have you forgotten? We’re in a covert relationship now, so you don’t need to act so distant." Elias Spencer told her.

Sumr Nolan looked at the shaless man, frowning. Suddenly, there were voices coming from the doorway. It was Mrs. Nolan and Ian Sterling. He asked, "Ma’am, has Sumr co back yet?"

"I don’t know, I just got back from grocery shopping." Mrs. Nolan said.

"Then tonight, you don’t need to prepare dinner for Sumr. I’ve agreed to make her dinner tonight." Ian Sterling replied to her.

"But we have a guest tonight. Could you reschedule for another ti?" She intentionally wanted to help Attorney Spencer, seeing how proper he was.

"...Alright then." Ian Sterling couldn’t say much. Did they have an important guest that required her to stay ho?

Inside, Sumr Nolan quickly broke free out of nervousness. Ian Sterling was surely still at the door. She sternly told the man, "Let go quickly, or else don’t expect to pay attention to you in the future."

Elias Spencer looked at how much she didn’t want Ian Sterling to find out and felt uncomfortable. He let go of her hand, and as the door opened, Sumr Nolan imdiately turned over and sat on the opposite sofa.

Standing at the door were her mother and sister, along with Ian Sterling, all looking inside.

Was the guest Elias Spencer? Could he be considered a guest? He had been to Sumr’s house countless tis. Was her mother deliberately trying to matchmake them? Ian Sterling frowned.

"When did you co back?" Mrs. Nolan entered the house and asked.

"Just now. Mom, please don’t keep inviting Attorney Spencer to stay for dinner. He has parents to accompany, and it’s not appropriate for him to always be at our house."

Sumr Nolan stood up and unintentionally distanced herself from the man, subtly addressing her mother.

"He’s just having dinner with us tonight; it’s not like he’s always here." Mrs. Nolan said, carrying the groceries inside.

"I’ve already made plans to have dinner with Ian tonight. You can cook for him. Oh, and I won’t be staying over tonight. I’m planning to move in with my boyfriend soon."

Sumr Nolan intentionally said this as she walked toward the door. She didn’t like being constrained or having any further entanglents with an ex-boyfriend.

She was going to live with Ian Sterling?

Elias Spencer watched her, feeling an uncontrollable sting in his heart. He managed a faint smile. Did she really like Ian Sterling and want to be with him?

Fine, then he would help them!

He stood up and said, "No need to prepare dinner for , ma’am. I’m leaving."

After saying that, he walked out with heavy steps, not sparing a glance as he passed by her.

Sumr Nolan watched him leave, thinking he was just saying it like before and didn’t take it to heart. She walked to Ian Sterling, took his hand, and headed toward his ho:

"Let’s go. Weren’t you going to cook for ?"

Ian Sterling couldn’t help but glance at Vivian standing nearby, worried she might follow and cause trouble. Surprisingly, she didn’t follow them.

Vivian heard her sister say she would live with him, and her gaze involuntarily lingered on their clasped hands, feeling an uncontrollable sting in her heart. Both of them liked each other, so interfering seed aningless.

That night, she decided to act as if nothing had happened. She wouldn’t interfere anymore.

"Mom, I’ll be eating out with friends tonight. You can eat alone." Vivian said and then left.

"Which friend are you having dinner with?" Mrs. Nolan asked. Really, even if Attorney Spencer was upset and left abruptly, that could be understood. But why was this girl suddenly running off too?

"Even if I told you, you wouldn’t know them. Don’t worry about it." Her eyes were slightly red, and without turning back, she waved at her mother and walked away.

What was happening to her?

She disliked this feeling.

Ian Sterling frowned and couldn’t help but look back. Was she going to find those guys from the underworld again? What good could they be?

"Do you know what kind of friends she has?" he asked the woman beside him.

Sumr Nolan shook her head, "Vivian never introduced her friends to , but she’s an adult now. I should give her the freedom she wants. She’s not fond of being controlled by ."

The conversation with her sister earlier in the morning lingered in her mind. If she found out her sister was involved with those kinds of people, she would certainly intervene.

Ian Sterling didn’t want to ruin his opportunity for alone ti with Sumr Nolan, so he didn’t ntion her sister’s dealings with those shady people. Taking her hand, he walked to the door, opened it, and entered the house.

After closing the door, he suddenly placed his hands on her shoulders and asked, "Did you really an it when you said you wanted to live with ?"

"Well, I just didn’t want Elias Spencer coming to my house again. Living together seems a bit fast." Sumr Nolan coughed lightly and told him.

"Well, we can live together but sleep separately. This way, Elias Spencer will completely lose hope. Rest assured, I promise to respect you completely and won’t touch you..." Ian Sterling promised her.

"No need. We live so close anyway; he wouldn’t know whether we’re living together or not." She gently declined.
