Sumr Nolan had a hint of a smile on her face; this Mrs. Spencer is really quite trendy, huh? She even likes to wear such sexy lingerie?

Those two lace lingerie pieces are as thin as a cicada’s wings, what’s the difference from wearing nothing? Even soone young like would be embarrassed to wear that kind of thing.

"Cough... the black one is mysteriously sexy, the white one is pure and enticing. Both look great," she said.

"I’ll take both of these, and bring a few more of the new styles," Mrs. Spencer said to the sales clerk behind her, selecting two more particularly sexy nightgowns.

One was a short spaghetti strap nightie with a champagne-colored, open back; the other was a white deep-V long nightgown with an outer robe, a very sexy princess style.

Sumr Nolan stood awkwardly in the lingerie store, clicking her tongue quietly, "People always say won beco voracious like tigers after thirty, looks like it’s true."

Elias Spencer heard her words, a row of black lines appeared on his forehead, but to be honest, his mom is a little... How old is she to still be wearing this kind of stuff for dad?

They’re quite the playful couple, huh!

"I wonder if Chairman Spencer’s old arms and legs can handle that?" she clicked her tongue again, and suddenly, her head was poked by the man beside her,

"... What are you worried about?"

"What’s it to you? You’re the one who ddles unnecessarily," Sumr Nolan said, crossing her arms and glancing at him.

"What did you say?" Elias Spencer looked at her and asked.

Sumr Nolan secretly bit her teeth and pouted, "...I said I’m ddling unnecessarily."

Elias Spencer suddenly pulled her into his arms, ruffling her head, really liking it when she deferred to him, "Rember, maintain this stance, I can’t handle too much stimulation, hmm?"

Ha, this shaless guy, he really has a vivid imagination! She was about to push him away when Mrs. Spencer turned around and saw the two of them wrapped around each other, raising an eyebrow—

Sumr Nolan, nervous, quickly pushed at the man, whispering anxiously, "Let go quickly, Mrs. Spencer saw us! What if she spreads rumors?"

"She’s not the gossipy type," Elias Spencer, keeping an arm around her waist, didn’t want to let go, being close to her made him feel secure.

"Attorney Nolan, didn’t you say this morning that you and Attorney Spencer were just regular colleagues?" Mrs. Spencer walked over and asked deliberately.

Sumr Nolan tugged at his hand again, but it didn’t budge. Awkwardly, she forced a smile, "He’s just joking around, Mrs. Spencer, don’t take it seriously."

"Do you two like to joke around by hugging each other?" Mrs. Spencer questioned further.

She was even more embarrassed, trying to pull away this man’s hand but to no avail, so she could only say, "... Please, Mrs. Spencer, don’t ntion this. Our firm has a rule against workplace romance."

"So, what’s your relationship?" she deliberately inquired further.

"We... we used to date..." Sumr Nolan had no choice but to explain.

"So are you getting back together now?"

"Attorney Spencer and I are just teasing each other for fun; neither of us goes back to past relationships." She awkwardly explained, suddenly elbowing the guy, wasn’t he going to let go?

Didn’t he see Mrs. Spencer staring at them the whole ti?

Elias Spencer, displeased with her earlier answer, suddenly pinched her waist.

"Ouch..." Sumr Nolan grimaced from the pain, grunting softly, annoyed, smiling on the surface but discreetly stabbing him hard again!

Mrs. Spencer looked at the two of them, and they seed like quarreling couple, always fighting fiercely at work, surprisingly the sa way in private, which was amusing.

The three of them went to another won’s fashion store, and Elias Spencer didn’t know his mom was picking things out for her, so he said to the woman beside him:

"Go pick out a few outfits to change into."

She did need a change of clothes, so Sumr Nolan went to pick out a dress. They’d be disembarking tomorrow, no need to buy a lot, she didn’t feel like carrying much, the hotel had clothes.

Elias Spencer saw that she only picked one dress, stingy, so he called to the sales clerk in a low voice, "Bag up all the new arrivals."

"I’m not staying here long, why buy so much?" she said.

"Many of the styles from this brand are only available overseas, buy them and take your ti wearing them," he said, heading to the service desk to pay, while Sumr Nolan didn’t want to owe him anything, so she imdiately walked over to say,

"I have money; I’ll pay myself."

"Don’t be petty," Elias Spencer handed his black card to the sales clerk.

Mrs. Spencer originally wanted to buy it for her, but her son beat her to it; never mind, let him have this chance to show off, they’d already slept together anyway, couldn’t let her down.

Whether she accepted was one thing, but sending or not was another, she thought understandingly.

"Ring ring—" Sumr Nolan’s phone suddenly rang, seeing the number, it was Raymond Dawson again. Elias Spencer, standing beside her, also saw the number.

Not wanting this wretched man to overthink and misunderstand, she answered it directly in front of him, "Hello, Director Dawson, what’s up?"

"Attorney Nolan, aren’t you and Attorney Spencer coming back to the city today?" Raymond Dawson was now preparing to return to the city with colleagues from the firm.

Ian Sterling had returned yesterday after getting threatened by his dad.

"Of course not," she said with curled lips.

"Then have you gotten anything out of Attorney Spencer? How is he planning to handle this case? Does he have any evidence or materials?" Raymond Dawson asked eagerly.

"I got him drunk last night and asked, but I couldn’t open this wretched man’s mouth no matter what, I can’t help it! Director Dawson, you just go to court, win or lose, haven’t you already made money from this case?"

"Moreover, maybe the plaintiff hired so small-ti lawyer who’s no match for you," Sumr Nolan ’comforted’ him.

"... Alright then, just be sure to keep him from returning tomorrow," she was right, even if he lost the case, wouldn’t he still earn a billion?

Even if Chairman Sterling blad soone, it would be for Elias Spencer suddenly disappearing and not going to court, not him.

Sumr Nolan hung up the phone, and imagining Sean Sterling losing the case and not only having to apologize publicly but also affecting the company’s reputation, maybe even causing a stock drop, made her quite happy.

Then she could fan the flas, giving him a thorough ’reputation boost’!

Elias Spencer watched her with a sinister smile on her face, a row of black lines falling from his forehead, it seed he really misunderstood her last night.

Where did she get him drunk last night? She was just trying to push the case onto Raymond Dawson, letting him lose anyway.

Arriving at the guest room door, Mrs. Spencer took a few bags from her bodyguard, handing them to the girl, calmly saying two words: "Take it..."

"These are for ?" Sumr Nolan asked, looking at her in surprise.

"Mm," she replied.

Why is this Mrs. Spencer buying her clothes? For no reason, it made her uneasy, "Thank you for your kindness, Mrs. Spencer, you should keep them for yourself, I have so."

"I’m giving them to you, just take them, I don’t like people being difficult," Mrs. Spencer said domineeringly, shoving the bags into her hands and turning away, walking gracefully away.

Sumr Nolan stood there dumbfounded, bewildered, "Why would she buy clothes? And such sexy lingerie and sleepwear... doesn’t seem normal, does it?"
