Her long, thicker-scaled tail wrapped itself around my neck slowly. The sa way a snake would. The scales would slightly chip against my skin, rough, but for so reason my body wouldn’t register it as pain.

No, no, it can’t be. I seriously can’t be getting—

"What’s with that dumb look on your face, huh?" Cloudjumper asked, seriously, violently, not flirtatiously I knew that much.

I bit my lip to hide the smile, but I couldn’t help it. Cloudjumper looked more confused, but then it turned into slight disgust. I must look weird at least for her.

Either way, if I don’t act fast, my hand will be broken. And that’s my favorite hand. Not up for debate. I throw another fist and a prayer.

It connects to her cheek, but there’s no kickback. Instead, her head slowly twitches, against my fist, pushing back against it. Then, she smiles.

"My turn."

With her free hand, she clenched her hand connect it to my face. My vision blacked out for monts before I could feel my body being sent through the air.

I skidded across the ground, and I blinked my eyes a couple of tis. Why...did that actually hurt? That one hurt just way too much...

Coughing slightly, I get up and scan for Cloudjumper again. She appears in front of , turns out we are still in the dining room, as the guards, Sultan, and Koga watch us fight.

I wipe my mouth. Okay, she’s totally bent on killing right now. Can’t let that happen. Stop getting flustered. Because if I don’t, the sad thing is that I will die because of another dragon.

It’s...that I might have a hard-on as I die. And that would be equally embarrassing.

With a quick first step, I appear behind Cloudjumper with a burst of speed. A move that’s pretty much fast and catches my opponents off guard, throwing and elbow behind .

But Cloudjumper...no. She read it.

And perceived it.

With an open palm to nullify my elbow, I swung my body for a kick that she blocked anyways. Then, she grabbed onto my ankle, and then her other hand grabbed my calf.

Swinging straight onto the floor, the room slightly shook. Wooden planks caved in as dust was created. I cough again.

Agh...this isn’t going good...at all...

I tried to get up, but my head was pinned against the floor as soon as I did. Hitting it pretty hard. I tried to look up, but all I saw was her standing over . Her foot pressing against my head.

She yawned, then looked towards Sultan. "I thought this would’ve been more of a challenge? The first dragon I’ve seen in years...just to be utterly weak."

Sultan laughs. And I could hear him swirling the wine in his glass as if he was watching a performance.

"Knight Cloudjumper, have so respect and faith."

She scoffs, "Neither."

Her left wing is raised, a talon at the end of it. Sharp. Could impale greatly if I don’t do anything. I move my head, but she presses it further into the broken wood planks.

Alright, just have to go slightly overpower her. And I can’t use magic in the instance that I erupt this entire estate by myself.

With my tail, it tightened around the leg she had her foot on my head and threw her off. She didn’t lose her balance initially, but just jumped back. Hands slightly raised.

I slowly got up, rubbing the back of my head before eyeing her specifically. "That hurt? You know that?"

She rolls her eyes, "If you don’t want to die, you better fight back."

I nod, "Right. Hey, think fast."

My hand was thrown instantly towards her casually. She didn’t flinch, but parried with her gauntlet hand, fingers kept close. It wasn’t until she actually looked at her hand that she noticed a black fla on there.

Then, at the gradual area.

"Shit,"

Her large wings flapped, and wind gusts were created massively again. She ascended into the air, and with her large wings covering her body, she broke the high glass and shot outside.

I look towards Sultan and Koga. The admiral, who’s grip on the blade tightened before I laughed slightly.

"Her and I want so fresh air, we’ll be back soon," I slowly ascend into the air before I shot out as well.

Outside the estate. I noticed Cloudjumper high in the skies. Wings beating hurriedly. Then, an explosion occurred. Black smoke surrounded her.

I called that [Infernal Smoke Bomb] it does damage over ti, disorients the enemy. Exactly what I needed.

I climbed the altitude fast enough and picked off Cloudjumper from the smoke who was trying to stabilize and gain herself. My hand on her throat, both of her hands pressed onto mind as I my grip was tight.

We were far above the estate now, as I looked back, then her. As I looked, I tried to remain soley on the battle. But the more my hand had its grip on her neck, the more I realized I—

Ah! What am I thinking?!

Cloudjumper kicked her legs back and forth in attempts to free herself, but I only scoffed. "Nice try. Your grip on my fist was great."

"This is greater." I add-on.

But she only cockily smiled, as she could only barely grasp for air.

"Th-then...I’m the greatest."

My head tilted, but she kicked her legs far enough to where they folded around my hip. She looked at smugly, and I couldn’t help but release my grip off of her.

"H-hey, get the hell of ...!"

She leg-locked around my hip! Out hips were too close for comfort! I can feel sothing else rising and it’s not my tail! Did she even think this through?!

Her thighs, her armor, she was so close to ...!

She then clenched her first, and threw it straight for . I caught it by her wrist. A massive shockwave rang out throughout the skies. I barely caught that, but she smiled again, and ford a finger gun.

"Boom."

With fire igniting at the tip of her fingers, a dium sized orb was created as it shot out instantly. A large explosion consud the both of us as I fell down in the air.

[Fire] magic, I nullify it entirely, but it’s still annoying to get hit by!

I dove, then with a sharp turn picked Cloudjumper out of the sky. We exchanged blows, then a flurry of that after. Shockwaves colliding from our exchanged blows.

She was fast, too fast. Usually I would say this isn’t sothing I couldn’t match or keep up with, but she seed faster than humanely possibly.

Bombarding with a flurry of kicks and punches, she managed to slip, feint. I bit, and fell for it. With that, her leg locked underneath my arm and with the montum spun around towards the ocean.

I halted just before I could get there, but the mont I turned around, she was already there with , and landed another crucial punch to my face.

Everything flashed greatly for a second, before everything blacked out. I skidded across the great ocean waters before coming to a halt.

Slowly, I began to sink. My eyes opened slightly, I could see Cloudjumper above the water surface. Is she coming for ? No, she’s getting smaller and smaller.

Or, wait.

I’m sinking.

I...do I even have the strength to continue anymore? I can’t go all out. That’s not an option here.

So...what do I do?

I outstretch my hand, but it feel so weak. My vision is getting dark and darker...what’s happening...?
