"Hya!" I imdiately led in with a kick towards one of the skeletons. Their body, or more so their entire frawork actually was sent back high into the sky. My feet landed and planted on the ground.

I waved another one on with my hand, and it rushed in. My body dodged the initial swing, and then the other.

"Wow! Fighting patterns just as I rember!" I caught the blade between the palms of my hand, before disarming that skeleton too and flicking it away.

It got sent back into a ruin, a collapsed watchtower it looked like as dust kicked up around that area. The last two skeletons eyed down, watching my every move. Couldn’t tell what went on in their noggins.

Couldn’t really watch their eyes either. Sockets but the lack of eyeballs is sothing scary. I extended my hand, fingers spread, palms facing the both of them.

"Dragon Pulse." I quickly chanted.

A concussive blast sent both of them further back then I rember, going as far as pushing them deep into the forest. It created a gaping hole in that direction as well.

I look back down at my hands, gotta learn how to control my power as well as restrict myself. Don’t want to hurt anyone that doesn’t—

"Right!" I imdiately ran for the person on the ground, quickly shuffling to one knee near them. Their clothes were tattered, blood on them...wait, no. Not them....her.

The more I looked at her, the more I saw her features. Pointed ears just like mine, but a bit longer. Elf, or Half-Elf. One of those.

Fair white skin. Her eyes were shut but she had an eyepatch over her left eye. Injury maybe?

Even her hair was exquisite. A split color choice between blonde and black. But it didn’t look dyed, not to my knowledge. Looked more...natural. Genetical perhaps.

Who is this person?

And how did they get beat by low leveled skeletons?

"...skill gap maybe?" I asked myself.

Skill gap in a MMO ga?

Well, I don’t even know if this world still carries it’s "MMO" like properties, so I won’t say that just yet. Not yet.

White armor padding, there was a badge on her shoulder, but it’s ripped off now. Skeletons done destroyed that as well. Looked like she wore light armor, as Elf and Half Elf proficiences allow you to do so—

I’m still thinking Dragon’s Tale chanics work even now. Shit, I’m not even sure I’m still in the ga. But yet, it feels all real.

Alarmingly real.

Regardless, I began to carry her. The strength of my tail is unmatched, and it seeked around her hips, tying around her as I carried her. A little light, as I expected.

I began my journey away. And directly not into the area of skeletons. Even if I just beat them easily without breaking a sweat, that doesn’t an that I could just take her anywhere. She’s hurt...and needs healing.

I facepalm myself.

"Yeah, yeah. Ask the Precision Burst DPS Dragon if he had any healing magic. Knew I should’ve went with the DPS Healer ta-build."

Even though I would’ve get hard-countered and squashed by 99% of hardcore PvP’ers who abuse ga chanics, cheats, and whatnot.

So, maybe I’m glad I didn’t.

We ca across a cave, or moreso I did since she was knocked out cold. It was an open one, wasn’t that deep, and it shielded us from the sun.

I placed her gently on the ground, laying her head on a soft stone surface. I kneeled down before her.

Fire Magic? No point.

Lightning Magic? I’ll shock her away.

[Dragon’s Authority]? Won’t do much.

Inferno Magic.

That’s my best bet.

But...even then, it’s not my priority, is it? Responsibility?

Co from area of pitch black in who knows how long and imdiately save soone? Sounds like a quest.

But I wouldn’t want it to be.

Maybe I genuinely do want to help this person who’s hurt.

Think she reminded of soone. Couldn’t say who. Maybe that’s why I didn’t want to leave her there.

Enough thinking.

More doing.

I placed my hands right above her chest, and made sure it was. Not directly placing my hands for contact. There would probably be better results? But let’s not risk it and get slapped for trying to be a pervert here. Play it safe.

"Infernal Magic: Soulwarming." I spoke. Black flas, soft, tender, didn’t explode right in front of my hands. Instead, it weaved into life. The sa way you would see your breath in cold air.

I held it like it was a cup of water in my hands, and then parted my hands apart—away from each other. The black fla slowly, but surely went down to her chest. Inviting itself within her body.

After a couple of seconds, a black aura ford around her body, a small, visible outline. She coughed once, and took in a sharp gasp.

Her one eye shot open, and she look, darted around. Her eyes eventually made contact with mine.

I waved, and smile politely.

"Hey!"

She didn’t respond, but just looked more scared instead. As if she seen God’s face right in front of her or sothing.

Her hands touched her abdon, then her chest. She drew in another breath as if she hadn’t been doing so in the longest. Then, her lips parted.

"...y-you...you saved ..." She confirms. I’m glad she realized I did. Her tone was soft, bordering on the edge of monotone. As if she had no real emotion.

I nod my head violently, "Sure did!"

But she studied . More and more.

So I, in turn, did so as well.

Her quote unquote "eyepatch" was nothing more than a makeshift bloodied bandage. Covered the eye well. Maybe she got poked with the sword? That would hurt more than I would like to admit.

She obviously ca from a region...but I couldn’t tell. Of all of the alliances, factions, guilds, and whatelse you could na within the ga. Nothing ca to my mind. She’s not from anywhere I know.

Well, if I’m in a new world, it would be better to have so likely allies.

I stuck out my hand from underneath my cloak, "Where’s my manners. I’m Ryuuzen Valefla, Dark Silver Dragonoid."

Her fear was more present when I ntioned my race. That’s the customary for us dragons, so I don’t think an elf would understand...but that’s weird because surely she must’ve seen other dragonoids? Drakes? Serpents? Wyverns? Sothing?

I expected her to give her na back.

But she didn’t.

No, well, she was going to, but she did first was shocking.

She slowly, her one eye never leaving —slowly, and I an really, really slow, shifted to rest on her knees.

And then bowed down.

I was taken aback.

And then, she spoke her na.

"...I-I am...Vaniti. Ranger of the Third Na’va Corps."
