The next day.

City Guild Office, 25th Floor.

In accordance with the previously communicated plan, Lewis accepted Sara and the others to join the Shadow Ruler. Aaron had a one-on-one talk with Eloise about Emily's willingness.

In the end, Eloise agreed on the condition that Emily should not appear in public as a mber of the Shadow Ruler. Aaron agreed with that, however, he could not portray Emily as part of his group.

Currently, Lewis was traveling around the Sky Sword district while handing out flyers encouraging mages to join the Shadow Ruler group. He did so with Mona and Karen.

For Aaron, he and Aerith waited at the guild office cafeteria to receive requests from anyone interested in joining. Luckily for him, Goro and the others did not co to the cafeteria in the morning and afternoon.

According to the receptionist of this place, they only ca at night. During the morning and afternoon, they were busy going on general missions provided by the city guild office.

At the cafeteria of the guild office, Aaron was still waiting while drinking wine. It was not the wine from the cafeteria, but the wine given by Eloise.

The wine was given as a token of gratitude to Aaron because yesterday the man had managed to drive Lewis away.

"Not a single person ca. Is Lewis doing his job well?" asked Aerith, sitting right before Aaron.

"From what I saw, he did his job. However, I don't know what made them beco uninterested," Aaron replied, taking a swig of wine from a small wooden glass.

From the direction inside the city guild office, Bella walked up to Aaron and greeted the man. Aaron turned his head and nodded, greeting the woman in return. She had already helped Lewis a lot in taking care of the administration of the group's establishnt.

"Are you joining Lewis' group?" asked Bella, Aaron cleared his throat in agreent.

The woman didn't know that Lewis was Aaron's clone. The disguise earrings that the man wore proved effective in deceiving Lewis's appearance, so it was not easy to recognize him as Aaron.

Aaron was going to maintain that, no matter what. People must not know that Aaron founded the Shadow Ruler, that was because his reputation was already bad —a high-level fugitive of the Night Liberators.

"That's right. Mr. Lewis assigned us to stand guard here, perhaps there are mages who intend to join," Aaron said.

"Oh, I see, huh? How about you invite the adventurers over there?"

Bella pointed to the crowd of people sitting together at the long table chairs, close to the general mission newsletter. There were six of them in total, four n and two won. As Bella rembered, they were avid adventurers going on general missions.

Aaron tried to confirm with her about their mbership. Bella confird they had not joined any group. They just ford a small party with Zidan as their party leader.

The man nodded, perhaps it wouldn't hurt for him to go over to them and invite them to join the Shadow Ruler.

Aaron downed the wine in the wooden glass. He walked over to the table with Aerith still sitting on the cafeteria table chair.

"We must work together to complete rank A's general mission together," said Zidan, a 20-year-old man dressed in a T-shirt, jacket, trousers, and a magic sword at his waist.

They nodded, agreeing with Zidan as their party leader. However, their attention was imdiately diverted when they saw Aaron standing right behind their leader's back. Aaron greeted them kindly.

"Hello, how are you guys?" Aaron greeted, waving his hand.

Zidan turned his head and was surprised. He stood and fell silent right in front of Aaron, holding the man back from hearing more about his team's plans. Zidan didn't want him to co, hear the plan, and snatch the mission.

"Did you co to take the mission?" Zidan asked.

"What? No. I ca to talk to all of you," Aaron replied.

"What do you an?" asked Zidan, curious.

Aaron stepped around, his right hand pulled a wooden chair from another table and sat outside the eting table, looking directly at the people. Their attention was focused on Aaron, curious about what he wanted to talk about.

"My friend ford a group, Shadow Ruler. We're lacking mbers to join the group tournant," Aaron explained.

"What I want to offer is if you guys are interested in—"

"Cut the crap! None of us will join your group," Zidan interrupted, rudely.

"I expected that. Getting you guys on board will be difficult."

So of Zidan's party showed no sign of interest. They refocused on discussing the mission they were about to undertake, a general A rank mission.

Aaron took out six S rank talent slips from his storage. He threw the six items forward, lying right on top of their eting table. Zidan was shocked, and the others responded the sa.

Not only that, he also took out six full beast servant fragnts in his right hand, showing them that the Shadow Rulers were not a lowly group like the others.

"S rank talent slip?" asked Zidan, shocked.

"You can still go on general missions even if you join my group. If you're interested, that one slip talent and a fragnt full of beast servants can be yours," said Aaron.

Among all of them, no one had a rank S talent yet. Not only that, only two people had beast servants —Zidan and his girlfriend.

Aaron reached his right hand forward, taking six rank S talent slips to float back above his palm. Now, there were 12 items of two different item types floating above Aaron's hand.

Their attention was drawn to the items, as if they had forgotten the general mission plan. Aaron had gotten their attention. Now, it was his turn to ss with their decisions.

"Huft."

"Since you guys don't want them, maybe I'll offer them to soone else," Aaron said, putting the items back.

Zidan was moved, several people from his party did the sa. In the end, Zidan stood up and stepped over to Aaron. The man grasped Aaron's hand, suddenly stopping his steps.

"Why look for soone else when we're here?" Zidan asked.

Aaron smiled, then returned to his flat face as before. He turned his head and asked the aning of Zidan's words, he wanted Zidan to say clearly that he was interested in joining. Stay tuned to My Virtual Library Empire

"What do you an?" asked Aaron.

Zidan looked back, his party mbers nodded simultaneously. They certainly couldn't waste Aaron's tempting offer, an S rank talent and a beast servant. Both would add a lot to their CP.

"Please, let us join the Shadow Ruler," Zidan said, bowing his head.

Aaron responded in silence and indifference, occasionally glancing behind Zidan, at the male party mber.

"Of course. You are in."
