Honestly, Coven originally wanted to go to the Rom of Requirent to practice his magic spell after school and solve the problems he encountered during the sumr vacation.
But yesterday, he heard from Wood that Professor David failed to develop the magic spell and suffered a backlash. When he thought of the warning from Professor Flitwick about the developnt of the magic spell in the first year, Coven couldn't help but give up on the idea.
There were many problems accumulated during the holidays. So problems were enlightened by Professor Flitwick's mantra, while so problems were much more complicated and could not be explained in a short ti.
Therefore, Coven did not practice magic spells during today's practice ti. He used all his ti to ask questions. There were still so things that had not been solved and could only wait for later.
..
Ti passed.
On this day, Coven finally got the answers to all the questions he had accumulated during the holidays from the professors. Therefore, after his two roommates fell asleep, Coven got up and planned to go to the Room of Requirent to practice magic spells.
However, there was a problem when he passed through the common room door today. The Fat Lady was still awake.
Just as Coven pushed open the door to the portrait, the Fat Lady's voice rang out in the dark and silent corridor at the sa ti, "Who is it? You want to go out even after the curfew?"
Coven was stunned and could not help but stop walking.
"Who is it?" The fat lady continued to ask, "Answer ."
Seeing this, Coven had an idea. He imdiately took out his wand and pressed it against his throat. Then, he said, "ow..."
"Cat?" The Fat Lady's surprised voice sounded, "Is it Mrs. Nroris?"
"ow..." Coven cast a spell again.
"When did Filch's cat run into the lounge?" The Fat Lady murmured strangely, "How co I didn't notice? Were you the one who pushed away just now? Forget it. You can't answer ..."
With that, the Fat Lady no longer spoke.
When Coven saw this, he reached out and gently pushed the portrait door to the end, letting the Fat Lady's portrait face the wall directly so that the Fat Lady could not see his figure.
Then, Coven lowered his footsteps and quickly left.
As for the portrait door, there was no need to worry about it. It would automatically close in a while.
...
All the way to the Room of Requirent, Coven was also puzzled.
Earlier, he heard from the fat lady that soone had left the lounge during the curfew ti?
Just as he was thinking about it, in front of him, at the corner of the dark corridor, a sharp cat cry suddenly sounded.
Coven stopped in his tracks. 'Is this Li Gui runs into Li Kui*?'
He, a fake cat, had encountered a real cat.
[*TL Note: Li Gui and Li Kui are characters from a Chinese folklore novel, 'Water Margin'. In the story, Li Gui pretended to be Li Kui and committed cris using Li Kui's na]
After discovering this, Coven imdiately put out the 'flash charm' on the tip of the wand. At the sa ti, he took out a small branch from his pocket.
During the night trip last year, Coven had t the caretaker of Hogwarts, Argus Filch.
Every ti Coven was found on the way by Filch's pet cat, Mrs. Doris, and scread to attract Filch's inspection.
Gradually, Coven also had a mature way of dealing with it.
He aid his wand at the small tree branch in his hand, but before Coven could cast a spell, a burst of rapid and ssy footsteps ca from the road ahead.
From the sound of the footsteps, it was obvious that it was not from Filch alone, and Filch could not run out of this frequency of footsteps.
Coven was stunned, and his figure rushed to the wall of the corridor, hiding behind the protruding pillar of the wall.
Soon, under the faint moonlight, two figures rushed out from the other side of the road and ran quickly in the direction of Coven.
At the sa ti, a vague murmur sounded, "Hurry up, the cat is about to catch up."
"It's because you, a fool, were discovered first!"
"It should be you. I said before that we should take another path!"
As they argued in a low voice, the two figures had already rushed near Coven, allowing Coven to see their faces clearly through the faint moonlight.
"George and Fred?" Coven whispered.
"My god!"
"You scared to death!"
"Who's there?"
"Is that Hogwarts ghost?"
"I bet not."
"I bet not."
"Foul! You should bet yes!"
When Coven saw this, he quickly walked out of the shadows and raised his wand to cast a 'Flash Charm'. The flash of light illuminated his face.
"It's Coven!"
"Senior is also exploring?"
"We should make an organization!"
"Stop!" Coven called out in a low voice, stopping the twins from chattering. He called out, "Co here!"
George and Fred were very obedient. They turned around and followed Coven into the shadows.
"Hiding here?"
"We will be discovered!"
"Let's continue running!"
"Let's continue running!"
"Shut up!" Coven shouted softly. Then, he raised his wand and drew a circle in front of the three of them.
George and Fred wanted to say sothing, but they could only open their mouths. They could not hear any of their voices. It was all because Coven had cast a silent spell. The effect caused the area to fall into a state of silence.
Next, Coven cast a spell again. He used his wand to light the bodies of himself and the twins respectively and used the 'rid of sll' spell to eliminate the scent on the three of them.
In the end, Coven cast an 'Illusion Spell' on the three of them, making them look like a heavy pillar.
Under the shocked gaze of the twins, Coven spread out his left hand and pointed the wand in his right hand at the small tree branch in his left hand.
Not long after, the little cat nad Mrs. Norris jumped near the three of them and stopped doubtfully, looking around.
When the twins saw this, they raised their hands to cover their mouths and noses, held their breaths, and leaned their bodies against the wall behind them as much as possible, as if they would not be discovered.
"Norris..."
At the sa ti, the gloomy and hoarse voice of the gatekeeper Filch sounded from afar. He raised his hand and walked over with the dim oil lamp in his hand.
"Dear, did you find anything?"
Filch asked his beloved pet while looking around with a gloomy expression. His bulging eyeballs and an face were like ghosts under the illumination of the oil lamp.
When the twins saw this, they beca even more nervous.
Coven ignored the two people beside him. He silently cast a spell and turned the branch in his hand into a mouse. Then, he threw it out with a shake of his hand.
After the mouse landed, it let out a 'squeak' and quickly ran towards the corner of the wall.
When Mrs. Doris saw this, she imdiately scread. Her figure suddenly jumped out and chased after the mouse.
Filch saw the situation clearly and couldn't help but curse in a low voice, "Another damn mouse!"
As he chased after the mouse, Filch cursed, "Don't let catch you! Otherwise, I will skin you alive!"
Soon, Filch's figure disappeared into the distance.
When the twins saw this, they all heaved a huge sigh of relief. However, under Coven's 'Silent Sound Spell', they still did not make a sound...
