When Brina’s mother entered the room, she couldn’t help but get overwheld.
Her daughter....
Her granddaughter....
Unfathomable emotions flooded in, making her eye rims wet and red. Three years back, when they were in an accident, she never thought her next encounter with her daughter would be under these circumstances.
Her daughter gave birth to a daughter.
Her daughter is a mother right now...
This made her more emotional than she already is.....
She gently caressed Brina’s cheeks and kissed her forehead before taking her hand into hers, her eyes never leaving her daughter’s face.
anwhile, Louis carried the baby and gently sat down beside Brina.
He is totally comfortable in carrying the tiny baby because he is already accustod to it after carrying g, his best friend’s daughter.
"I just wanted to look at them in the sa fra once. I couldn’t believe I beca dad" Louis said, pretty emotional too.
Jenny chuckled. "And, I never thought my best friend’s son would marry my daughter and that, by the ti I wake up, he will give a granddaughter to hold" she said tearing up as she gently chuckled.
"If mom was alive, she wouldn’t have been any happier than this." Louis said, caressing Brina’s tired face. "Dad told that you and mom used to fantasise about this mont a lot," he told his mother in law.
"Why not na the baby after your mother?" Jenny suggested. She knows how much Louis loves his mother.
She saw it many tis, with her own eyes. And, when his mother died, he was nothing but like a dead kid.
It took him years, but, that impact never left him.
"I am going to let Brina decide, mom. I am actually thinking, her sister in law’s na. If she and Seth wouldn’t have sacrificed themselves, my wife wouldn’t have been here, alive"
"Brina and my daughter are here just because of their sacrifice" Louis said.
anwhile, Jenny teared up very badly.
Such a good man!! His daughter is really lucky to have him!!
"No more tearing up, guys. Let Sab and the baby rest for a while" Harry said, who was looking at his godmother and Louis getting overly emotional.
"Right. Today is a happy day. We shouldn’t bring this up" King George said, wiping his wife’s tears before wiping his own.
"I am gonna send you sothing to eat, son." Jenny said, patting Louis’s shoulder before excusing herself. She needs so private ti to cry on her own.
Later, Louis stayed behind while others let Brina sleep. Later, the doctors took the baby for checkup.

After a few hours...
Brina woke up and the first thing she saw was her husband looking at her dotingly.
She smiled instantly, extending her hand to him.
Louis smiled in return and imdiately shifted to sit beside her. "How are you feeling?" he asked. The pain she went through is still very vivid in his eyes.
"Light." she said, making Louis raise his brow at her.
"You don’t have to ntion the positive sides just to make better" he told her, caressing her cheeks.
"I am a little exhausted but it’s worth all of this," Brina answered honestly, cupping his cheeks.
"By the way, where is daddy’s princess?? I expected that little brat would be resting in her father’s arms" Brina teased, obviously joking.
Louis laughed and flicked her forehead. "I told you it’s a girl," he proudly said. .
"Now, my prize, love. I won the bet" he bead.
Brina rolled her eyes. She just gave birth and he is already thinking about this!!
"Not for another month or so. Now tell , where is our daughter? I didn’t have a proper look at her" Brina asked.
"Our daughter is busier than King himself. She is now surrounded by many of her admirers" Louis chuckled.
"As expected. And, what is our little brat doing then" she asked.
"Sleeping peacefully despite the people who are admiring her sleep now" Louis chuckled.
Brina laughed. "So, I won’t be getting to see her?" she asked.
"Of course you will. Just wait a sec" Louis said, kissing her forehead before running to the adjacent room.
Brina is brought back to her bedroom and the baby is now sleeping in the nursery attached to the bedroom.
Soon he ca with the little bundle of joy wrapped in a pink smooth blanket.
"Here" he said, gently passing the baby to his wife while he sat beside her.
Even Brina has experience with kids because of her ti with her nephew Will.
anwhile, as soon as Brina saw the baby, her eyes turned red. Her eyes turned gentle as water as she gently caressed the tiny face of her daughter.
"She got your eyes you know. Beautiful" Louis whispered, afraid that he would wake up the baby.
"And, your hair which I love so much’ Brina added.
"But, I should always be your first priority, okay" Louis said.
Brina laughed.
His insecurity is super cute sotis.
"It has to be mutual," Brina replied.
"I will try," Louis teased just to get a glare as a response.
"We have two guest rooms you know" Brina blackmailed, indirectly implying that she will throw him out of the room.
anwhile, the people who just exited the nursery, couldn’t help but laugh.
"He is so like you, Ed. I still rember the sa words coming from you to Rhea when she gave birth to Ethan" Jenny said to King Edgar.
She and her husband, George were there when Rhea (Louis’s biological mother) gave birth to both their children, Ethan and Edward.
And, Rhea and Edgar were there when Jenny gave birth to both Seth and Sabrina too.
"I rember George saying these to you as well, Jen." Edgar responded.
Edgar and Jenny are like a brother and sister’s always mocking each other.
"But for now, don’t you think you have to et Brina? It’s been years and she must be missing you" Edgar said.
When Jenna nodded her head, he smiled at both of his friends.
"I will be leaving now. I still have to break this good news to all the noble families personally" he added, leaving Brina’s parents to et her.
