"Does that an, you are okay with us, dating?" he asked, totally excited like a small kid.
Brina laughed and nodded her head.
"But I can’t guarantee you Louis." She said, her voice little sad.
"That’s enough for , Brina. That enough for to show you how much you an to " he said, his eyes twinkling with brightness.
Brina smiled and leaned into his embrace. "I am glad it’s you" she whispered.
When Louis saw her face hid eyes darkened when he saw her red lips. Since the morning he was having this urge to kiss her.
Now, looking at her from such a close distance, he simply couldn’t control himself. He quickly sneaked a peck from and started eating his food like a innocent child.
"So tasty" he teased.
"I wouldn’t regret tasting this for the rest of my life" he said
And as soon as Louis told the last sentence ’rest of my life’, he couldn’t help but bite his tongue. He sotis talk his thoughts loud and regret it later.
What he said now is hundred percent true and it ca right from his heart. However, the weight of this words might suffocate Brina.
As per what Louis has noticed in Brina, she is still afraid to think of her future. She is uncertain of sothing and these type of overwhelming words effects her badly.
"I was talking about appetizers" Louis quickly diverted the topic.
"This tomato grilled crostini is so delicious" he said.
"But Louis you were eating Fig crostini and Ricotta" Brina said, hardly controlling her laugh.
Yes, these type of long term promises truly scare her. But when Louis said those words she didn’t feel overwheld or suffocated.
She actually felt the warmth filling her heart. It might be because his promise is sincere and her ex fiancé fooled her with his feign love and take promises.
"Oh!" Louis said. He couldn’t help but curse himself for his loose tongue.
"I might have got confused with the dishes we ordered. Instead of bringing Tomato grilled crostini first, they brought this one" Louis told.
"But, Louis we didn’t order Fig Crostini and Ricotta" Brina told and laughed.
Her laugh at last made him sigh in relief.
"You were so cute now, do you know?" she said, pinching his cheeks.
No one has ever did this to him!! Not even his mother!!
No one pinched his cheeks. But, as it is Brina he would never complain about it.
"And, Louis....there is no need to hide your thoughts from . At least by listening I will get to know how sincere you are how genuine your feelings are" Brina told.
"Let hear them, I want to break out from my trauma and the past..." Brina said, shivering a little. Her eyes moist.
"I was just worried that it might hurt you Brina. Hurting you would be the last thing I will do" Louis said.
"You are special to Brina, so special. I know that you are hurt in your past and I deeply hope that my love for you will heal those wounds and help you out from your trauma" Louis told as he caressed her cheeks.
"Let’s spend our ti together, get to know each other and still if you feel like you weren’t ready for this, I will not force you. All I need is your ti" he continued.
He just want to reassure her that he isn’t like Chris to force her into sothing or directly propose her without knowing her feelings for him.
"I just want to let you know how serious I am to spend the rest of my life with you" He talked out his heart just like she asked.
Brina hugged him and thanked him.
"Now, let’s forget this and enjoy our lunch. It’s almost three, and we should return to company" he said.
"Hell!! We are running out of the ti, Louis!! I don’t want to be late on first day itself" Brina said, at last rembering that she just have fifteen minutes left.
Louis laughed. "Relax... relax" he chuckled.
"Don’t worry, you are not having a eting with your strict boss... .at least not for today" he said.
Brina rolled her eyes.
Who will scold themselves!!
"And, your boss won’t mind if you are late coz, he is in very important first date of his life" Louis said winking at her.
Brina smirked.
He is a narcissist too!!
"Louis, I have heard that project managers in L & E corps will have hell of etings and conferences. Don’t you have any eting now?" she asked, taking the bite from her main dish.
Louis is actually having a very important eting and he will be late for the first ti.
"Yep, I have eting, but it isnt that important" Louis told.
If Charlotte and other board mbers would have heard him saying these words they would have coughed their blood.
But for Louis nothing is much important than Brina for now. He is falling in love with her, more and more that eventually she will beco his life.
