Louis led Brina towards his car with his hand holding her back protectively.

The onlookers would have surely adored the couple and praised him for his protective nature towards his girlfriend only if the park wouldn’t have been deserted.

"What about my car?" Brina asked slightly, turning her head back to see her car which was not even parked.

"My n will take care of it, baby. You don’t have to worry about the trivial matters like this." Louis chuckled and flicked her forehead gently.

Brina pouted but let him open the car door for her.

As soon as they settled in, he ignited his car but didn’t start driving.

"How did it go?" he asked, kissing her on her forehead.

A faint smile etched on Brina’s face and she couldn’t help but lt for his caring and protective nature.

"It went quite far better than what I expected, honey. I guess all our traps are perfectly laid out and now, I have accurate insight of how this might end." Brina told him.

The confidence in her voice has of course piqued up the interest in him and he couldn’t help but look into his girlfriend’s eyes in amusent.

"Is it?" he asked, placing a kiss on the tip of her nose.

"Wanna know?" Brina asked, chuckling.

"If you want to tell, why not? I’m all ears." he said caressing her cheeks, their eyes still remained locked.

"Of course!! With whom will I share if not with my handso and genius boyfriend?" Brina teasingly asked and pecked his lips.

Then she narrated everything that has happened. And, Louis of course didn’t miss the happiness in her voice when she talked about her grandfather.

She is indeed very happy that he finally accepted her heartfully.

On the other hand, Louis couldn’t help but worry. Though their reunion is emotional and her grandfather seed to be trustworthy, his guts were screaming all suspicious.

However, Louis didn’t want to burst the happy bubbles after noticing how happy and cheerful his girlfriend is now.

It’s really rare to see her like this!!

And, getting reunited with her grandfather is really a big thing in her life. After her family died the only elders she got is her maternal grandmother and grandfather. He didn’t want to ruin this special day by bringing out his suspicions and doubts.

Deciding to talk about it later, he ignited his car and started driving.

anwhile, seconds turned into minutes and the silence etched in the car making Brina realize that sothing is wrong with her boyfriend.

He never stops talking when they are together.

It is not an exaggeration to say that but this is the first ti he stayed silent during their quality ti like these.

"Honey, what’s wrong?" Brina asked worriedly, placing her hand on his hand.

Louis smiled a little ’Nothing can escape her eyes and she is so damn good at reading .’ he thought.

As he swore to himself not to keep secrets from Brina, he decided to speak out.

"Nothing much, baby. I’m a little suspicious of your grandfather’s sudden behaviour. Your accident might have been his eye-opener and of course I don’t deny it. But, a little part of is still bugging that his actions are suspicious. Not to disrespect him or to-" Louis was about to voice out his thoughts. However, Brina interfered.

She couldn’t help but smile. He was trying his best not to make it sound offencing. And, in fact, Brina understood his concerns.

To be quite frank, even Brina felt it unbelievable.

"It was indeed suspicious, honey. And, I noticed that my uncle and my grandfather share a aningful look too. It was like my uncle had asked grandfather to do so favor for him." She said. After thinking for a while, she added "I suspect my uncle knows that I am still alive."

"Really? Louis asked, turning his head towards her. He is more curious than before.

"Uh-huh." Brina replied and nodded her head.

"If your suspicion is true, then why didn’t he inform Nadia and Nolen about it?" Louis asked, wondering to himself.

"Yep, that was running in my mind as well. After observing my uncle’s behaviour today, I noticed that he was not surprised to see alive. On closer look, he was actually pretending that he was shocked. But deep down, he was expecting that I would co to see my grandmother anyti around." Brina said.

"On that note, could there be any chances that your grandfather was aware of it too?" Louis carefully asked.

"I don’t think so, honey. He was genuinely surprised when he saw . It could be that he didn’t think I was ’dead’. No one told him about Robin and my cousin’s plan. He found it himself and not through my Uncle Carson." Brina said.

"Looks like Carson was in a dilemma, baby. Though he tried to snatch away your mother’s properties from you. To be frank, he never tried to hurt you or kill you, unlike his children. He is a bad person but I think, sowhere deep in him little ounce of humanity is still left." Louis told.

"However, still, at the end of the day, he is soone who tried to suppress you. So, let’s not show any rcy." Louis said.

Brina chuckled and patted the back of his hand. "My grandfather asked to give him a chance at least for Niel and my aunt."

"And I think, suppressing others can’t be counted as victory every ti. Sotis, forgiving and showing rcy does more good than destroying and suing them." Brina said, her thoughts rooted sowhere else.

And her words ca from experience of the past. Louis of course detected that somberness in her tone.

"So, what have you decided, my queen?" he asked playfully. Trying to pull her back from the bottomless sadness of her thoughts.

"Didn’t think of anything yet. But, let’s see what my uncle has in his mind. But in the anti, I will ask my n to investigate about him and to also keep an eye on him." Brina said, smiling a little.
