Since he was planning to soon leave the Fortress city towards the Nightmare Forests, he had decided to take as many samples, and experint subjects as he could.
This included Vampires, and the partial souls of the puppets, but also other races that he would take an interest in.
He would take as many as he could, and place them inside his Old Pouch, and experint with them when he had so free ti.
After discovering about the Vampires, and their abilities, and bloodline, he had gotten truly interested in the races that lived on Earth.
For that reason, he was planning to experint a lot, not only with humans, and the other races living in there but also with nature and Qi.
He had always felt that Earth was weird, and it should be hiding so kind of dark secret, but until now he had never taken any big step towards it.
He was planning to start his research with these experints, after all, these were more useful to him at the mont, and he had a more practical use for it.
Just imagine if he could create an army of strong Vampire cultivators, who would dare to block his way?
Returning at the mont at hand, Tianlong Yun looked at the two old guards in front of him, as he said in a satisfied voice,
"Well done, from now on you are my trusted guards, and aids. I promise to help you and your families, reach heights you have never thought possible!
As long as you work diligently to obey my orders, and fulfill the assignnts I am going to give to you, my promise will be rock solid.
If you dare to try anything funny"
His lightly smiling and calm face turned into a dark and gloomy one, that would make even a grown man feel terrified of him as the boogieman.
It was only for a fleeting mont though, because as soon as one could blink, he imdiately returned to his previous expression, as he said,
"You won't, I know you won't! Now Old Huo co with , we have so things we need to take care of. Old Li you stay here and have a look at the tent and the servants.
Let make one thing clear though, don't even think of bothering them. Are we clear!?"
The old man seed a bit offended hearing those words, but he didn't say anything, as his Young Master was looking at him as if snooping in his soul.
In fact, it wasn't that he hadn't thought about it, and probably if his Young Master hadn't warned him, he might have tried sothing on them, by finding a reason.
But looking at the eyes of his Young Master he understood that it would be a grave mistake if he did such a thing. He felt the chills deep down his soul.
He had never thought that possible, after all, he was much stronger than Tianlong Yun at least at the mont, and shouldn't feel like that.
This was sothing that even the Old Man couldn't make him feel. Yet his new Master was more than capable to do it, and scare the hell out of him.
With that taken care of, Tianlong Yun just turned towards the Fortress City Lord mansion where the passage was found and started running in that direction.
Old Huo was a bit startled at the direction that his Young Master was taking, but he just ran after him, like a trusted guard.
Their way through the fortress towards the passage was really boring, and a pain in the ass for Tianlong Yun as he had to walk at a moderate speed, that Jayden usually ran.
If he ran faster he would open unnecessary troubles to himself. He didn't really know this Old Huo guy, and even less his character.
He wasn't even assured of his loyalty to Jayden Smith, and let alone if he learned he wasn't even Jayden. Not that it would cause much trouble to him now, but he was a good chess piece.
It would be such a sha to lose such a good chess piece for a stupid mistake on his part. With that thought in mind, he was showing extra attention to his speed, and steps.
It took them a while to reach the surroundings of the main part of the fortress city, where were encamped the biggest powers and strongest free cultivators.
Tianlong Yun had no interest in the weak ants that were surrounding this place like vultures, as they held nothing good in his eyes.
Furthermore, he was not interested in material goods at the mont, what he cared about was human resources, or to be more exact on the special races' individuals.
Just like he expected though this place was buzzing and boosted, as everyone was impatiently waiting for the opening of the portal, that would lead them towards the true treasure.
None of them wanted to lose this opportunity, as there were rumors that only one treasure from this place was enough to help them beco a powerhouse in the outside world.
There were even so rumors that the Shadow Clan was created by an individual who had had a lucky encounter in this space a century ago.
That was enough to make people extrely excited and enthusiastic about the opening of the passage.
Tianlong Yun had no idea who was spreading such rumors, but this just showed that there were a lot of puppets still around the place that he could grab onto to experint on.
Beside him, Old Huo was always attentive, even though they had been disguised, and wouldn't be recognized easily.
He didn't understand why his Young Master would return to such a place, after he had left so he could secure his own life, knowing that a huge war was coming.
It didn't make sense, as they had returned to the sa place they had escaped from, for their safety. Just what was going through his Master's mind right now?
Still, he didn't say anything as he just followed behind and kept a look at the surroundings. On the other hand, Tianlong Yun was just walking around.
He had no idea where the Vampires had camped in this place, and where he could find so other special specin, so he was just wandering aimlessly.
It took almost half a day of wandering to finally find sothing in this huge place. The Vampires had encamped a bit far away from the passage, and they had built their camp in form of a war camp.
Their tents were built in a certain order, with the bigger tents built in the center, and then all the others around them according to their size.
They had even left so sentries, and post blocks that could warn them of any unexpected arrival. This clearly surprised Tianlong Yun, as it looked like these guys knew that a war was going to happen.
But how did they know about it? Even he wasn't assured that it might happen, and yet these guys were so prepared.
It was at this ti that Old Huo behind him said in a calm and explanatory voice,
"Master must be thinking that they are prepared for the upcoming war, right!?"
Tianlong Yun was a bit confused, because he seed to know sothing more about this, and asked,
"They aren't!?"
Old Huo expected this, as he started explaining it better,
"Well they are preparing for war, but now with the ones that Master is thinking about. They are preparing for war with the Werewolves!
The Vampires and the Werewolves are death enemies with each other, as their enmity has been proceeding for millennia'.
The true reason behind their enmity is lost with the ti, but still, there had been no improvents in their relationship.
In fact, one could say that their enmity has worsened as ti passes by. They can't stand to see each other in the area. For that reason, wherever they go, they built their camps to be ready for war.
Both races are coming closer and closer to extinction and yet none of them seems to give up from the enmity.
In the previous generation, the Patriarch of the Werewolves tried to create so kind of armistice, but then he was killed by a Vampire, which made the rusting enmity, reeking of blood.
Nobody knows if he was truly killed by the Vampires or soone inside the clan, but one thing was for sure, the fights beca even bloodier."
Saying this he stopped for a mont to let him process the information, and then continued,
"Master must not have noticed, but even when we were with the old Master at the passage there were two individuals who were looking at each other with wrath in their eyes!"
Tianlong Yun wasn't Jayden Smith so his mory didn't work at this mont, as he had no idea who these guys might be, but then Old Huo said in a kind of complicated voice,
"You might rember them better if you think of those beautiful silver and red-haired beauties by their side.
The 3 silver-haired ladies were the Werewolves Patriarchs mates, while that red-haired beauty was the second princess of the Vampire race!"
Tianlong Yun had never seen those beauties as he hadn't paid much attention to the ladies when the conflict between the two old n happened, and neither was he when they gathered.
It was Jayden who had seen and observed them, but he couldn't let his cover get blown so he said as if he rembered faintly rembered them,
"Oh, you are talking about those beauties, it's"
But while talking he had a look at Old Huo's solemn face, as he said with a sigh,
"Sigh~
