“ Go back to the hospital.”
The driver started the car.The curtains on the second floor window were lifted. Yan Liang was standing there. She quietly watched as Jiang Yu Nan’s car left the Xu house. Then she turned around and looked at the deserted bedroom. Suddenly the joy of victory dissipated from her heart , it only felt empty.
So far, she hadn’t heard anything from Jiang Yu Nan.
The disrupted wedding banquet beca the focus of the dia. The news of Lu Zheng’s hospitalisation spread like wildfire, but many news outlets also photographed an unidentified woman who frequently visited Lu Zheng at the hospital. And what he said next, it didn’t have the slightest trace of feeling , “ I just called to say that our previous agreent is null and void as of today.”

“ You..”, Yan Liang had just uttered this one word when the phone was abruptly disconnected on the other end.
Jiang Yu Nan’s next step would be to allow Jiang Shi Jun to dismantle Xu
Or would they report Zhou Cheng to the police ?
Yu Nan would answer all her questions with practical action..
The next day Jiang Shi Jun announced the convening of an ergency board eting.
When Yan Liang saw the looks between the board of directors and Jiang Shi Jin , she had an inkling of what was going to happen next.
Sure enough, Yan Liang finally heard from Jiang Shi Jun the words she had been looking forward to for the last few months, “ This ergency eting is to announce so good news. Liang Ruiqiang of the Liang consortium intends to take over all the brands of Xu, including Ya Yan, secret, skin key ...all the ten sub brands.”
As he finished his sentence, all the directors were stunned and naturally looked at Yan Liang sympathetically.
“ Of course,” Jiang Shi Jun pointedly looked at Yan Liang, “ I expect so people to oppose this when we put this to vote in the general eting.”
Under his watchful eyes, Yan Liang made every effort to keep her face expressionless, and not laugh out in joy.

The response on the other end was not expected, Zhou Cheng did not seem excited, but his short silence seed lonely. Finally, he said, “ Yan Liang.”
Zhou Cheng uttered her na solemnly, as if he wanted her to calm down before he said the next words.
“ I have been arrested by the police.”

Yan Liang kept holding the handset for a long ti. In her ear, the monotonous and harsh sounds of the busy tone continued to reverberate.
Her secretary knocked at the door, and panicked when seeing her in this condition. “ Ms Yan!”
Yan Liang was pulled out from her reverie and looked up to see her.
“ I just received a call from the police station. They want to speak to you. I wanted to transfer the call, I wasn’t sure if you were in,” the secretary looked at her holding the phone , “ but your line was busy.”
“ What’s up?”
Yan Liang’s voice now was completely different . The exhilaration she had felt earlier had disappeared and had been replaced with panic.
The secretary seed to realise that Yan Liang was scared . She gulped and continued, “ The call was from the Economic Cris investigation departnt. They received an anonymous report , supposedly from a Xu staff, reporting the misappropriation of company funds two years ago. Since you are a high level manager in Xu, they expect your co operation in this matter.”

“ Tell them that I am in a business trip and can’t be contacted”, Yan Liang thought for a long ti and finally said.
The secretary was in a dilemma, but Yan Liang reiterated, “ Tell them this, now you leave.”
Clearly she found it difficult, but she obeyed Yan Liang and left.
Although the quietude should be conducive to thinking, Yan Liang’s mind was completely blank. Instead of coming up with a mitigating plan, she subconsciously reached for her phone to dial a specific number.

Her tone was dead serious, and there was sothing hidden in her voice. Aunt Liang’s voice also turned solemn, “ No problem, tell what happened.”
“ Zhou Cheng had an accident , his parents must not know. Please invite Uncle and Aunt to New Zealand on behalf of my mother as soon as possible.”
“Ok, I’ll call Zhou.”
Yan Liang hung up .
To save Zhou Cheng, did she have to destroy Xu ?

It was a silent night.
Yan Liang was in the throes of a nightmare. In the last scene , she was in the trial court, and Zhou Aunt was crying and cursing her, “ You are the reason my son is in jail.”
She suddenly woke up.
When she opened her eyes, she was lying in her own bed, a thin film of sweat over her forehead.
As she beca aware of her surroundings , she found him sitting alone on the bed.
She wondered how long the man had been sitting there, watching her quietly.
And as she looked in his eyes, she noticed..in his eyes the emotion that was reflected...was of trendous regret ..
For a mont, they looked in each other’s eyes. Then he quickly withdrew his gaze, and Yan Liang put up all her defences.
She sat up from the bed and sneered at him, “ Jiang Yu Nan, you finally decided to appear ?”
Jiang Yu Nan was silent. He looked at her expressionlessly, then lay down on the other side of the bed and closed his eyes.
