Chen Chuan folded the form and put it away. He smiled. “You’re gonna pay ?”

Wei Changan laughed. “Did you actually think you were doing this for free? We get paid for all missions where we act on soone else’s behalf. That’s why I brought you along. Wei Changan walked in and placed the report on the table.

Bian Feng picked it up. “It’s done?”

Wei Changan could not help but praise Chen Chuan. “It is. He’s good, Mr. Bian. But why were you in such a hurry to give him a mission on his first day? Was it really because he was involved in this?”

Bian Feng read through the report and put it down before saying, “It was just in case. If a certain soone is freed up after today, he might find all sorts of excuses to hold him up, and Chen Chuan would be stuck for an entire sester, unable to go anywhere.
