Since Chen Chuan had made up his mind, Cheng Zitong nodded. “Xiao Chuan, you’ve been training according to Lao He’s notes, haven’t you? Which step are you at now?”
Chen Chuan thought about it. He could sense that even if he had the bone beads to help him, his improvent speed had been slowing down.
According to his estimations, in at most three months, he would reach the true bottleneck of the First Limit. If he continued like that, his improvent would be really poor.
Based on his discussion with He Xiaoxing, there was no need for him to insist on reaching the peak of the First Limit. He could reach it after he reached the Second Limit or higher.
“I believe that I can start learning about the Second Limit ahead of schedule,” he said.

“After you submit your application, soone will co and review your achievents. They’ll just be going through the motions, though. If no one from the main campus tries to hold you back, you’ll have to take the test within half a year. But you have evaluation points and recomndations from three different governntal departnts, so based on your cousin’s analysis, they will not stop you from taking the test.”
Chen Chuan took the form. After scanning through it, he took out a pen, filled out the form, checked it, and handed it back to Cheng Zitong. “Please submit it for , Mr. Cheng.”

While Chen Chuan was talking to Cheng Zitong, a sedan stopped in the square in front of Martial Valor University. The back seat doors opened. Zhuang Zhi, Feng Sheng, and Zhuang Chongshan got out.
Then, the door to the front passenger seat opened, and Tai Dongwei, one of the students in charge of the follow-up exam, stepped out. As an upperclassman and part of the Mutual Aid Group, he had brought along these three underclassn with him on a mission.
This was the first ti they had gone on one, and they felt that they had learned a lot and gained lots of experience. So of the things they learned simply could not be taught in classes.
Tai Dongwei was like a big brother to them. He gave them a lot of pointers and help, so a friendly and harmonious atmosphere developed among them.
“Thank you for taking care of us during the mission, Tai Dongwei,” Zhuang Zhi said.
Tai Dongwei smiled at him. “You’re welco. Since we’re all part of the Mutual Aid Group, we should be helping each other. You have great potential. So of the freshn might be stronger than you are now, but they’re just depending on the strength of their existing foundation.
“Martial arts training is all about investing in yourself. As long as you have the potential, the more resources you invest, the greater your rewards will be.”
He looked at the three of them. The motion allowed him to put stress on his next words. “You three, without a doubt, have great potential. With the Mutual Aid Group’s help, in another year or two, you’ll find that your peers won’t be able to defeat you anymore. All of you will be outstanding.”
Zhuang Zhi believed this and felt lucky that he decided to join the Mutual Aid Group, because that ant that he got more resources and help.
He looked down on those who refused to join the Mutual Aid Group, like Chen Chuan. Even though he had exceptional talent, he thought too highly of himself and refused to join. That was no different from squandering his talent. Chen Chuan might be stronger than he was right now, but their resources and opportunities were completely different.
Once he did more missions, he would be able to catch up to Chen Chuan in fighting experience and fighting prowess. When they beca sophomores, the distance between them would widen, and by the ti they were seniors, he would be far ahead of Chen Chuan.
Then, there was Wei Dong. He was supposed to be part of their area, but he always mingled with Area One. Then again, he was stupid, so Zhuang Zhi could not be harsh on him. It was just a pity that they lost a useful fighter.
He thanked Tai Dongwei again.
After Tai Dongwei gave a polite goodbye and parted ways with the others, he headed to his dorm. Since the Mutual Aid Group had pulled strings to get the mission for him, they would get seventy percent of the rewards.
But without the Mutual Aid Group, he wouldn’t have gotten such an easy mission that was perfect for guiding freshn, so he had no complaints.
When he reached his dorm, a bespectacled student went up to him and greeted him. “Hello.”
Tai Dongwei recognized him. He was Yu Ruizhi, the person in charge of contacting people for the Mutual Aid Group. Knowing this ant that they had so task for him, he asked, “Anything up with the group?”
“Jiang Wei wants to see you. Co with .”
Tai Dongwei hesitated for a mont. “I just ca back from a mission and am all dirty. Should I change first?”
“You don’t have to. Jiang Wei doesn’t care about that. You shouldn’t let the upperclassn wait.”
“How many of them am I seeing?”
“You’ll know when you’re there,” Yu Ruizhi said with a smile.
Tai Dongwei didn’t ask anything more. He got into the car next to them and took off. Ten minutes later, they arrived at one of the villas on North Peak.
