Sean Knight didn’t expect Viola to look for him at this ti.

He thought to himself, this girl couldn’t possibly...

Sean Knight could hear that Viola was hesitating outside his tent, her footsteps stopping and starting, although very light, Sean Knight heard them clearly, she must be making a decision.

Sean Knight smiled.

Eventually, Viola didn’t manage to open the tent’s entrance and slowly walked away.

Sean Knight felt a little disappointed, if she had co in...

Heh.

The night grew wilder, and although the bonfire outside was still lit, except for the sentry, all the other team mbers had entered their tents, the light fading.

The night was extrely silent, no one nearby, with only an occasional bird or animal call in the far distance.

Even the wild beasts knew these people were not to be trifled with and wouldn’t co near.

At midnight, Sean Knight quietly got up from his bed, and fluently lifted the moisture-proof pad, planning to take another underground journey.

Just as he was about to reach for the first clump of soil, hurried footsteps ca from outside again!

The sound was clearly Viola’s.

Had she made up her mind? Made a decision?

Sean Knight hesitated for a mont, then put back the moisture-proof pad. Whatever it was, now was not the right ti for digging.

Not long after Sean Knight lay back down on his bed, Viola arrived at the entrance of the tent, paused, and then called out softly:

"Boss, Boss?"

"What is it?" Sean Knight paused before asking, "Sothing wrong?"

"Yes, urgent matter!" Viola’s voice was very hurried, and Sean Knight imdiately realized that this ti Viola’s visit was probably not for the reason she had first co.

"Co in," Sean Knight said as he switched on the rechargeable desk lamp and sat up.

Viola lifted the curtain of fabric that served as the tent’s door and crawled in.

The two team mbers serving as sentries looked at each other, neither uttered a word, but the looks in their eyes were similar, containing a bit of a teasing laugh, quite suggestive.

This boss has got himself a warm bed for the night!

"Boss, Sergei just now gave a phone call, said there’s urgent news to report to you."

"What’s the urgent matter?" Sean Knight thought to himself, it was indeed as he had expected, this ti it was serious.

"He said, a bunch of people suddenly arrived in the small town, driving over a dozen cars, including a few big trucks, with about forty or fifty people, so of them ard.

After they entered the town, they contacted several Diggers and asked for news about Andrew Petrov. Sergei suggests that you make preparations here; he is still gathering information."

Sean Knight understood. Sergei’s ssage was that if these people were relatives or friends of Andrew Petrov and had co seeking revenge, then they had to be ready for conflict.

He thought for a mont and said:

"This information is very important. You’ve done well!"

With that, he picked up his mobile phone and called Elijah Hastings and the others over.

In one minute, Elijah Hastings and the others appeared in Sean Knight’s tent.

"Sergei just sent a ssage. A group of people have arrived in town, they are ard, looking for information about Andrew Petrov, Sergei wants us to get ready," Sean Knight got straight to the point and repeated the situation, "So, we have work to do tonight!"

"Understood!" Elijah Hastings imdiately nodded, "Boss, do we need to move?"

Sean Knight hesitated for a mont; he didn’t feel a strong sense of crisis, but thought they still needed to be prepared and said:

"No need to move, just make sure everyone is aware and on guard. Work hard for the next few days; the bonus will be doubled afterward!"

"Alright!" Hearing the boss say this, Elijah Hastings and the others knew the tone was set, so they went out to prepare.

Soon, various sounds of the team mbers getting busy could be heard outside.

The campground itself already had relatively complete defensive facilities, but while these might be adequate against the Diggers, they were not sufficient against professional ard personnel.

So, so deployed drones while others began setting up so relatively heavier "light" weapons.

The noises were not loud, but everyone was busy and orderly.

Seeing that everyone else had gone out, Viola was surprised at how quickly Sean Knight had responded and that the issue had been resolved so swiftly.

Left without a role, Viola wasn’t sure what to do.

Noting Viola’s lack of reaction, Sean Knight cleared his throat and said:

"You should rest for now. Maintain good contact with Sergei, and if there’s any situation, let know in ti."

Viola nodded, gave Sean Knight a complicated look, and then walked out.

Sigh, an eventful autumn.

The trees wish to stay still, but the wind keeps blowing.

Sean Knight rubbed his head, thinking this to himself.

However, he soon cast aside these concerns. If an army cos, they will block; if water cos, they will cover with soil. The opposing side might have ard personnel, but his side had elite professionals!

No fear!

Sean Knight lay on the bed inside the tent with peace of mind, listening to the sounds outside, and then fell asleep.

He really did fall asleep. With so many professionals around, there was no need for him to worry.

The second day morning, Sean Knight got up feeling refreshed and stepped out of the tent to find that the campground had undergone quite a few changes.

Of course, the appearance didn’t show much change, but now drones were hovering in the air, and so facilities had camouflaged so weapons that weren’t convenient to reveal.

External firepower had increased significantly.

And more importantly, the team mbers were all on alert.

Sean Knight felt like he was back at university during military training, recalling how the instructor described the army entering a certain level of readiness.

Breakfast was normal, with team mbers eating in shifts.
