Two days later, it was finally the first day of the tournant. Sheva found himself next to Bagas, walking side-by-side as they entered the venue. Even though chess wasn't that popular, it had created a lot of traffic in the last couple of months due to Sheva's achievent, so there were so reporters gathered in front of the venue to take photos there.

As the top-seeded player and probably the biggest superstar in the venue, of course, Sheva was the most targeted person by the caras. He still accepted so photo requests politely, but also refused any interview requests from them, wanting to focus first on the tournant. Truth to be told, he didn't really need to do that since he was confident that he could win. But the reporters didn't need to know about his thoughts, so he basically got a free pass to enter the building.

Unlike the Jakarta International Chess Festival a year ago, though, this ti, the scene was definitely bigger. After all, not only was this tournant a big event for all the players to qualify for the World Cup 2023 next September, but the best tournant also ca from Indonesia, a scene that people didn't see a lot in the tournants held in this country. That was why the organizer went all out for this occasion.

They didn't just use the federation's building like the event a year ago, but rented a luxurious 4-star hotel right in the heart of the city, The Century Park Hotel, to hold the tournant for the rest of the week.

While Sheva was quite used to this kind of luxury, he was still in awe every ti he stepped into this building, always feeling that this was a completely different world compared to Jakarta, where he usually lived.

"Hey, Shev! Snap it out!" Bagas's voice woke him up from the dreamland. "We still need to et so people before going straight to the hall."

Sheva just nodded blankly, letting his best friend lead him inside. They went through the VIP lounge, and after waiting for a mont, a familiar figure suddenly appeared, greeting them politely.

"Mister Sheva, Mister Bagaskara, it has been a long ti, right?"

"Mrs. Dina! It is good to see you!" Bagas greeted back, and Sheva just followed along. This high-level customary was definitely not his forte, so copying Bagas's move was indeed the wisest move here.

As for the woman in front of him, it was Mrs. Dina, Mister Wahyu's secretary, who first ca and greeted them when the man was trying to offer a sponsorship to Sheva. No one could forget the impression she gave because at that ti, the woman showed off the strong aura of a wealthy woman, which was enough to make even Bagas, a kid from a rich family, tremble in fear.

"Anyway, let's go in. Mister Wahyu and Mister Arsya have been waiting for you guys." She said, leading the way.

The woman guided them to one of the presidential suites there, and the mont they entered that ridiculously extravagant room, those two saw another familiar person. This ti, that person was enough to trigger a huge smile on Bagas's face, as the boy didn't have any reservations even in front of probably one of the wealthiest people in the country.

"Sarah, my love! I miss you so much!" He grinned, giving the girl a bear hug while also kissing her cheek fondly.

"Oh, Honey! Not in front of my grandfather!" The girl, Sarah, slapped his chest playfully, yet still accepted the hug while also resting her head on his shoulder.

Sheva could only feel the corner of his mouth twitching madly, sohow feeling embarrassed at how those two expressed their love. He wasn't the only one, though, as the other two people there also had the sa expression. Hell, one of them clutched his fists, as if ready to throw a punch right now.

"Young man nowadays… They sure don't know how to restrain themselves, right?" One of the n there, Mister Wahyu, shook his head while also glancing at the friend next to him, Mister Arsya, with a teasing smirk. "If they are not careful, who knows…"

"Finish that sentence, Bastard… I dare you…" The other man, Mister Arsya, who was also Sarah's grandfather, growled, his face darkened in fury. "Brat, enough of that! Also, mind where you place your hand! Don't think you can do anything you want just because you have taken away her purity!"

Sheva choked instantly, while both Bagas and Sarah flustered in sha. Hell, Sarah looked like she was about to die in embarrassnt, as she glared at her grandfather fiercely. "Grandpa! We promise we won't talk about this! Not in front of Mister Wahyu!"

Yeah, here, before the tournant began, Sheva was invited by Mister Wahyu and Mister Arsya, the two old n who were sohow fans of chess, to co. Well, Sheva didn't have any excuse to refuse, especially since he had received so much help from Mister Wahyu.

As for Mister Arsya, the boy also knew that the man helped Anna and Claudia a lot last year, and since the man was also his friend's grandfather, being polite to him was quite natural.

"Anyway, let's just ignore those two." Mister Wahyu coughed in amusent, ignoring how Sarah and her grandfather were bickering with each other while Bagas just stood awkwardly among them. "I will not take your ti for too long because I know you will play later, but I just want to ask you a question here."

"Yes, Sir?" Sheva asked, glad that he didn't have to receive the secondhand embarrassnt from his friend.

"Well, I have seen your talent, not only as a chess player, but as a teacher as well. Your students' successes in the Asian School Chess Championship a while ago have already proven that." Mister Wahyu said, more like a statent instead of a question.

Then, he continued, "So, Arsya and I suddenly had this intrusive thought a few days ago. What if we created a chess club similar to the model that the IM and your old teacher, Irfan Aditya, and we make it bigger, with you as the teacher and the advisor of the club? How about it?!"

Sheva's mind went blank for a mont, as he could only say one thing here.

"Eh?"
