History! The First Ever Indonesian Player Who Reaches 2600-ELO Rating!

The Future World Champion? How Far Can Adrian Sheva Go?

Who is Adrian Sheva, The Most Talented Chess Player in the Country?

The next day, all the news platforms bombarded the tiline with coverage of Sheva’s achievent in Prague. Seeing this, the three teenagers couldn’t help but shake their head, sohow still feeling in awe and disbelief. After all, who would’ve thought that such an amazing player would beco their coach?

"Damn, Brother Sheva sure is incredible." Nayaka looked at his phone with eyes full of admiration. "He even gets into the headline! This should be his second ti since the new year, right? This is crazy..."

"Is there anything special about being in the headline?" Devi asked confusedly. While she knew that this was going to be explosive news, the girl still didn’t understand how big it was to beco a headline.

"Well, you might not know this, because girls usually don’t really care about sports, but back ho, the sports section will always be filled with the football news or maybe badminton one if soone managed to win a big event. As for chess, don’t dream too much about it. Don’t think that chess is a popular sport just because we see a lot of old n playing on the corner of the street, but in fact, no one cares about the professional players. So, what Brother Sheva does here is definitely sothing unprecedented."

"Nayaka is right." Suddenly, Master Susanto appeared out of nowhere. "Even in my pri, I had never received this kind of treatnt from the dia. Well... My best achievent is just getting a SEA Gas gold dal, so of course, I cannot complain about my lack of exposure." The man laughed casually.

However, his admitting this only cented the idea in the three teenagers that what Sheva did was sothing out of the world, and their admiration for the boy grew one more ti.

"Anyway, let’s forget about him for now. Are you three ready for the ga today?" Master Ervan asked, starting to nag the teenagers like an old mother. "You have already had your breakfast, right? It will be a long day, so don’t forget about that! Also, bring a bottle of water! Don’t let yourself suffer from dehydration! What about your ID card?"

Devi had the corner of her mouth twitching speechlessly, sohow feeling déjà vu when she listened to this. ’Did Brother Sheva also do the sa before we flew here?’ She rembered that call.

"Urgh... Stop nagging, Ervan! They are not children anymore!" Master Susanto groaned. "Also, you are acting like your wife here! Where is she, by the way? She has been dragging my wife out for God knows what. I am afraid that my bank account will be emptied soon!"

This was enough to shut the man up, as Master Ervan’s face turned red from embarrassnt.

"Don’t worry, Master Ervan! We are ready for today’s ga!" Nayaka suddenly spoke, saving the man from his embarrassnt. "We also have a target from Brother Sheva to fulfill, so how could we be stumped by those small matters?!" He said confidently, with both Duta and Devi nodding in agreent.

Listening to that, Master Ervan couldn’t help but sigh helplessly. Of course, he knew the target that Sheva gave them, and honestly, he had half of his mind to complain since it seed to be too high for them. However, Master Susanto stopped him, wanting to see what kind of storm Sheva would bring with them around.

’This is no longer our era, Ervan. Just trust Sheva in this case. Maybe, we will see a surprising result in this tournant.’

Even though Master Ervan was not convinced, he still accepted the suggestion. Well, that didn’t an he would stop nagging them here, as he continued, "Don’t underestimate your opponent, okay? The first day is always important, so try to gain an early advantage. However, don’t put too much pressure on yourself! Just relax and have fun!"

"Yes, Sir!"

Afraid of getting nagged further, the three teenagers run away imdiately, leaving the two old n behind. The tournant was held in the International Chess Academy, the legendary place where all the prodigies like Nodirbek Abdusattorov or Javokhir Sindarov started to rise. It was only five minutes from their hotel, so they decided to walk to the place.

They were not the only ones who thought about that, though. As they were getting closer to the venue, they t a lot of people from so many different countries, and they were walking in the sa direction. Even without saying anything, they all knew that those were their potential opponents in this tournant.

"Man, I am starting to get excited now." Nayaka grinned excitedly.

"Stay calm and keep your energy for the ga later, Brother Nay," Duta said calmly. However, anyone with good observational skills could see his hand twitching impatiently, as if he couldn’t wait to go for any action there. "Rember, we are all here as Brother Sheva’s students. Don’t embarrass them, okay?"

"Bah! Who the hell are you talking about?!" Devi snorted in disdain. "It should be who said sothing like that, right?! Don’t hold back, okay?!"

"This is not a team ga, Devi, no need to say that," Duta answered. "Also, you have the easiest opponent among us all, so I would be laughing if sohow, you fail to win it all by the end of the tournant."

"Ha?! What did you say?!"

Honestly, if anyone here knew what they were talking about, they would have the urge to smack those three’s heads for their arrogance. However, Duta was not wrong here. He and Nayaka would be in the open U17 category, where all the best players in this tournant gathered. Compared to that, Devi, who was in fourth place in the initial ranking of the G17 category, would definitely have an easier ti.

"Okay, no need to bicker over sothing petty like that." Nayaka acted as a peacemaker, trying to ease the tension between his two friends. "Anyway, just rember our initial target, so let’s just dominate them all and announce our nas to the whole world, okay!"
