Even though he himself didn’t quite understand the explanation, the boy knew that Sheva was doing well right now, and it started to attract more viewers. True enough, after thinking for fifteen whole minutes, Kwong Wing Ki made a mistake, ignoring all of the threats he faced and just put his knight on the D7 square. Seeing this, Sheva didn’t hesitate even for a second, sliding his rook down to the A2 square to threaten the white’s queen. Of course, the best choice here was to take the rook and offer a trade, but Sheva could’ve just ignored it and torn Kwong Wing Ki’s defense to get his knight, so it was definitely not the best choice.

In the end, everything looked bleak for the white piece, and that was when Kwong Wing Ki finally realized how fucked up his position was. However, if anything, this only made the man panic more. He thought for a while, even biting his own nail, which showed how nervous he was. In the end, though, with only ten minutes on the board, Kwong Wing Ki made one last mistake that seed to be the final nail in the coffin.
He let Sheva’s rook and queen infiltrate deep without any restraint, and the next few moves were definitely a nightmare for him. No matter how hard Kwong Wing Ki tried to rebuild his defense, Sheva would always be three steps ahead in this race, tearing everything in his territory. Finally, once the king itself was tired of the chase and couldn’t run away anymore, the Hong Kong player finally shook his head slightly before offering a handshake, accepting his defeat.

’Finally...’ Sheva took a deep breath, feeling a huge burden on his shoulder that he himself didn’t know anything about, suddenly got lifted up.
This win also boosted his teammates’ confidence, as the three of them suddenly got more motivated than ever to win their gas. While Sheva could see that so of them—like Arfan and Novendra’s gas—were still in a drawish position, the expression on their eyes basically told the boy that this wouldn’t last forever. They would make a move soon and follow his step to beat their opponents.
’Oh, well... At least, my first step is perfect here...’ The boy muttered while also stretching his stiff body a little. ’Now... I wonder how the other gas are faring...’
