Capítulo 851: Doesn’t Matter

Pools of gold rippled out from Kenton in a wild healing light. In fact, the spillover was so powerful that pieces of cracked earth around him began to spring with life, greenery forming in wild growth spurts.

Kenton’s sword appeared in his hand and he roared. High in the skies, his snow fox was still beating Alpha handily. But the difference now was that Alpha had the green light to use his Blood Mancy openly. As such, he was continuously healing from damage that should have already outright killed him.

But in that mont, the snow-furred fox beca a beam of light that instantly entered Kenton’s forehead.

“FUCK YOU KENTON!”

“Act first or you’ll never get the chance,” Kenton said coldly.

BOOM.

Kenton’s power exploded, a surge of Soul Mana spilling into the area…

And then ca the Spirit Mana.

Both swirled into one and Kenton grew a foot. Nine tails blood from his back, the silky strands of his sword extending until it made it look as though 18 ethereal masses were snaking through the air.

Kenton’s snow-white hair beca longer and wilder, his sideburns extending until they almost looked like the mane of a wolf.

Claws grew from his hands, his body shuddering with might until his robes tore out against his muscles.

“FUCK YOU KENTON!” Bamby roared out again. But this ti, he hardly sounded like a human. He sounded like…

A necklace danced on Bamby’s neck, curled like a horned serpent piercing the skies. Fire erupted from him and the necklace exploded into a looming spirit that almost swallowed up the skies before it turned into a beam of crimson that pierced his forehead.

Crimson scales grew across Bamby’s body. Rather than just a head, he grew to over 2.5 ters tall, his muscles bulging with such power that every pulse and flex caused sparks of ruby-gold flas to dance in the air.

His hamr grew along with him, one side of it growing a horn as smooth as polished, brushed tal while the other gained a face so large it dwarfed even the width of Bamby’s chest in his new form.

Once again, Soul Mana spilled into the air…

Only to quickly be followed up by a suffocating aura of Spirit Mana that was just as grand.

Their auras destabilized Theron with their presence alone. He had been cutting a path toward Kenton just monts ago, but the wave of power alone ground him to a stop until there was a wall of chilly wind that he could barely see through.

And then the wall of heat hit him from the side.

The two mixed into a wild influx of currents that pincered Theron at the center of it all. One side burned at him, the other turning his very flesh and blood itself to ice.

Both n completely towered over him, Theron’s smaller fra seeming like an ant before these two monsters.

To the encampnt and its soldiers, they had no idea what they were seeing. Was this really the power of recruits?

Theron had been so fast, so sharp, such a lethal killing machine that many of them didn’t know if they could last a few exchanges with him.

But this Kenton and Bamby… just how were they hiding so much power? Was that Soul and Spirit Mana?

They had Dual Resonances too? What was happening?

Theron took a deep breath, his toes digging into the ground.

Lyra could only look at him from a distance, tears filling her eyes. She wanted to help, but how could she? She was only a Quasi King. Her personal power was barely enough to fight the weakest of Kings; how could she fight a battle against geniuses so infinitely close to Transcendence?

There was a part of her that wanted to reach out and comfort Theron, but he felt so far away.

She was still too weak… still far too weak.

Half of Theron’s body was lit on fire, the other half covered in creeping lines of white ice forming sheets and panels over his skin.

Alpha yipped in the skies, but he had been fighting by Theron’s side for long enough to know that if he went, he would just be ruining everything. But… even Theron had limits.

Kenton and Bamby were already so powerful as Kings before. But now, they were on a whole other level.

In fact, the mont they reford their bodies… their true bodies… their cultivation skyrocketed, breaking free of the restrictions of the King Realm and stepping into the Saint Realms while climbing, and then climbing so more.

They only ca to a stop when they sat firmly at Quasi Transcendent…

The very sa cultivation realm as Aridia.

All of this just to deal with a boy who wasn’t even quite yet an adult. It was far too much.

The various captains and lieutenants couldn’t help but look toward one another. Sothing about this just felt… fishy.

What was going on?

The task felt too tall, but General Aridia had ordered them not to interfere. On the surface, this seed to make sense. With rookies this strong, it was fine to let them fight it out.

Also, Aridia’s plan had clearly worked. Now she understood exactly what had been confusing her so much about Kenton and Bamby before.

But now there was one question that remained…

What would Theron do? It was still impossible for her to interfere in sothing like this. Not enough knew who Kenton and Bamby were, but everyone knew a Demon when they saw one.

Even now, he was just standing there, looking at the two enemies across from him, his body quickly reaching its limits. He had little left. Even without these transformations, these two were normally too powerful for him.

A fox… a dragon…

“Your brothers sure are causing problems…” Aridia said softly, her words drifting into sso’s ears.

“… Only the dragon is related to . And he’s a child of my nephew, maybe even grandnephew,” sso replied, a bit of hesitation and complex emotions in her eyes.

“At this point… does it matter?”

“No… I guess it doesn’t…”

Theron suddenly looked up and sso’s heart skipped a beat as he seed to look right through her.

It was only a brief mont before Theron looked away, his grip on his blades tightening.

The roar of a lion peeled through the skies.
