These details weren’t things that Theron was aware of. In fact, he had only been vaguely aware that he probably hadn’t truly failed his Tribulation. Though he believed it to be the case, he wasn’t 100% certain.

There was still too much about this cultivation world he didn’t know. He hadn’t had the ti to read everything in his library—it was far too large—and it had only grown larger after he stepped onto the Hall’s planet.

But even if he had had the ti, the library only taught him through science and fundantals. It didn’t have cultivation thods or things of the like. Everything about the cultivation world he learned from it would have to be deduced all on his own.

He had used his privileges as the owner of the King Soul Lamp to learn from the Cloud Mancy experts within it. But he had surpassed all of them so quickly that their advice wasn’t able to fill in the gaps of what he was missing.

However, right now... he didn’t seem to need a cultivation technique anymore.

This was another secret of the Void Core that the Matriarch didn’t understand. He didn’t have to think to grasp the secrets of his Mana anymore. Even if he didn’t practice Mana Control, it would naturally elevate with every level of cultivation he progressed toward.

This was the aning of Voidwrought. If Primal was a state of returning the Mana to its most original state, then Voidwrought was a state of not just returning to this state, but returning it to its ultimate simplicity. Not just the existence of the Mana, but its very birth... a state of Void... the state before the universe itself existed at all.

If your Cores were in such a state, what was the use in a cultivation technique?

A cultivation thod existed to refine Mana into a controlled state to improve the foundation of your Core and polish it to reach the next level.

But if you had a Void Core, every bit of Mana you naturally absorbed would be forcefully returned to this most original state whether it wanted to or not.

While most layn assigned the speed of Voidwrought cultivation to the fact their Cores were akin to a black hole that sucked in everything in sight, the true reason for the speed of cultivation was the fact there was no need to waste any ti on refinent at all.

From the very start of his cultivation journey, Theron had been chasing after the simplest forms of cultivation he could find, feeling that it was the best way to avoid mistakes.

If he had used stronger cultivation thods, he would undoubtedly be stronger. But there was sothing that felt so... impure about taking such a route.

He couldn’t have been more correct.

The process of forming a Void Core should have been painful and excruciating. So geniuses even died in the process.

The only pain Theron felt was the one in his chest... a pain replaced by little more than emptiness after he had vented it all out.

His skin glowed resplendently, every inch of it looking like a healthy wellspring of life and vitality.

Mana suffused his body, healing him with a shocking amount of speed that Celestials couldn’t hope to match up against.

Whether it was his hidden injuries, his impurities, even the cracks left behind by the devastation of the Ice Spirit, he was back to full capacity...

And maybe that was because there was still one elephant in the room left over...

Theron wasn’t just a False Voidwrought... he wasn’t just a Perfect False Voidwrought...

He was a Perfect False Voidwrought twice over.

Two points of black light pulsed in his dantian, the Mana they continuously pulled toward themselves forming event horizons of resplendent light as they finally began to show signs of saturation.

Only then did Theron finally move.

It had taken so ti because the continent didn’t have enough Water Mana; it even had to forcefully convert quite a bit of Ice Mana. But then that left his Dark Mana Void still lacking.

But his Void Core, interestingly enough, seed to have a very unique ability—once again sothing the Matriarch had no way of knowing.

His two Void Cores had a connection between them his previous Cores hadn’t had. In fact, he felt he could take Mana into one and pull it out from the other and vice versa.

What was most shocking about this ability was that he could seamlessly take Water Mana into one and pull out Dark Mana from the other, converting one form of Mana into another with a thought.

From Theron’s understanding of Mana...

This was nothing short of an act of God.

Mana was such a fundantal building block of nature that breaking it down into a smaller form should be absolutely impossible. It was unheard of to do such a thing.

You could turn like Elents into one another, you could fuse Elents to create a new one, but converting one unrelated Elent into another unrelated Elent?

Simply impossible.

Theron could only do this with Water Mana and Dark Mana. But it was shocking nonetheless.

’No...’

Theron’s Water Mana suddenly beca Ice Mana, and his pupils flickered before he dismissed it. He had no interest in controlling Ice Mana. However...

His Water Mana and Dark Mana began to seamlessly mix into one another. Before, it took him a great deal of control and effort to combine the two. It had drained his soul considerably until recently. But even then, he had a ti limit for how long he could go.

Now? He could casually do it in his dantian and didn’t even have to worry about exploding on the spot.

The power of these Void Cores was simply unfathomable. And to think that he had very nearly missed out on it.

Theron knew then... he knew too little about cultivation. It was unacceptable for him to have only stumbled onto such a path out of luck. He needed to know more.

His thirst for knowledge wasn’t the reason he was so weak in the past. It was because he thought that knowledge and peace were all that mattered.

Now, his focus would be entirely different. He wanted knowledge for the sake of destruction.

Theron turned around, finally eting the gaze of the Matriarch.

A great amount of pressure fell onto him.
