While Maroon’s body was locked under the dragon tongue’s power, the underground mbers lunged after Roderick, only to be incinerated by a blast of draconic fla, their bodies reducing to ashes.

By the ti the effect faded, Roderick was a distant speck in the violet sky. Maroon’s frown deepened. His pride was stung by this. This was his most vulnerable he’d been since reaching 8th-star.

"Alliance leader, should we chase after him?" A voice asked.

Marron looked at him before sighing, "Just leave it." Honestly, if it were just a random person, he would’ve killed them. However, this person was an important person in the alliance.

His gaze shifted to the vessel, its hull still rocking from the battle within, and he made his way there.

Inside, the battle was still in full swing.

The red fangs weren’t called that for nothing. Except for the few surprises here and there, they held their ground against so underground organizations.

As the fight got more intense, Tad had regained his composure and comfortably fought off his enemies while simultaneously leading his team. He didn’t speak anymore about Jin’s betrayal. It would only cause panic than not, but his mind couldn’t stop thinking about it.

The vessel continuously shook despite the command center having declared success so minutes ago.

As the fight raged on.

BOOM! A shockwave suddenly rocked the bridge.

"Tad!" Maroon’s voice thundered.

’Shit,’ Tad froze, and Doombringer’s fist slamd into his chest.

BOOOM. He crashed into the vessel’s wall, tal crumpling, his head leaving a dent. Blood trickled from his lips as he struggled to rise. ’If Marron is here, have the reinforcents been defeated?’ Horror struck in.

"Urghh..." But there wasn’t ti for him to think. He was already hanging on a thread, and Maroon lood above, his pressure suffocating him.

"Do you have any last words?" Maroon asked, his voice cold. Maybe because of what just happened, his mood was sour.

"So... cough... So, you worked with him," Tad rasped.

"Who?" Maroon’s brow furrowed.

"...J-Jin..." Tad’s body slumped, lifeless.

Marron wanted to ask more, but his friend had already given up. ’What was that supposed to an?’ Maroon’s eyes narrowed. "Doombringer, what was he talking about?"

"Tch. Just so jargons." Doombringer shrugged, wiping blood from his fist.

"Hmm." Maroon nodded after a mont of thought. "Alright, the rest of you, ti to die." His domain surged, looming over the remaining Red Fangs.

Their screams filled the air with a resounding splat. The pressure had crushed them into blood and pulp, staining the vessel’s bridge.

The underground mbers took a step back in fear, then exhaled in relief. They were happy. At least Marron wasn’t their enemy.

With a large smile, he turned to the mbers, "We succeeded," he declared, and the underground mbers roared in triumph.

For the first ti in their history, they won against Darkan.

Marching to the control room, Maroon’s voice echoed with authority. "After a few checks and etings, we’ll begin our official Darkan’s takeover. We will succeed."

"YESSSSSSS!" the alliance cheered, their victory sealed in stone.

In the Flaheart Kingdom, a somber crowd gathered at the site of the catastrophic battle.

The air humd with the lingering violet energy, a testant to the clash’s scale. Such devastation on the land and army naturally demanded the king’s presence.

A middle-aged man with deep red and blue eyes, which had a deep shade that could blend to violet at any mont, strode through the wreckage, his purple robe and crown glinting under the sun. His hair, vibrant purple, whipped in the wind. He was Kahn Vol Flaheart, the king of the Flaheart kingdom.

Running his hand through the violet energy, his eyes widened. ’This is it.’ The power. It was beyond his imagination, the perfect blend of fla and ice he’d sought through years of experints. On his way here, he was annoyed, after all, the general who died was his brother, but watching this energy, it morphed into exhilaration.

’So this is what would happen if they get combined,’ He was suddenly feeling like all his sacrifices and decisions had not been a waste.

He turned his head, demanding, "Where are they?"

"They’ve been sighted near the outer villages, and from their direction, they seem to be fleeing the kingdom," a man replied, bowing.

"Stop them. Block the borders if you must," Kahn ordered, his voice sharp.

"Yes, Your Highness."

Ralph’s group staggered through the Flaheart Kingdom, their bodies exhausted, and potions nearly depleted from their infiltration. The kingdom’s pursuit was closing in, with soldiers patrolling every path.

"Hey, Donto, can your friend get us through?" Mirta asked, her voice strained.

"I’m not sure," Donto admitted. "We’ll have to try."

Ralph took the gamble, reforming their tattered formation. The losses and deaths had left the formation irregular, but they pressed on. Other contingencies were ready.

Once more, the ten Mistars executives climbed into a rune-etched carriage, with Donto at the reins, joining the queue at the kingdom’s gate.

The tension in the air hung thick, as more soldiers sward the area, conducting brutal searches. Once again, they hoped for anything not to be caught. They couldn’t afford to fight in their situation.

As their turn ca, Donto leaned out. "Hey, Tim, what’s going on?"

"Donto?" Tim approached, sighing deeply. "So terrorists ca in and caused a large ruckus. They said even a general and his whole army got wiped out." His face was etched with worry.

"What? No way!" Donto feigned shock. Behind him, the hidden Dawnless stifled laughter, marveling at his fluency. He was too fluent in his acting.

"Yeah, it happened," Tim said. "Oh, you’re leaving, right? Follow ." Using his authority, he vouched for Donto, waving the carriage through. Donto tossed him another sack of coins. "See you again," Tim called, waving as they passed.

The group was very thankful; however, the relief was short-lived. At the Lunar border, a lockdown barred all passage. No one entered or exited, soldiers scouring every traveler.

-What are we going to do?

Mirta asked as Ralph’s mind raced..

’Wick can’t do anything at the mont, as he is in charge of the kidnapped, so what can we do?’

Because at the mont, a brutal search was underway. So travelers were even forced to take off their clothes.

Mirta and the nine executives were deeply brainstorming when a voice interrupted.

"Hey, you." A man approached Mirta, scratching his head, and she recognized him, the one she’d given her card to. "Thanks for the other day. I found so great stuff." He returned the card to Mirta. "How can I repay you?"

’Should I?’ Mirta was really considering just asking him directly to help them escape. However, she hesitated, weighing the risk. Before she could decide, Cia, an executive, stepped forward. "Can you take us on a tour?"

"A tour?" The man frowned, puzzled.

"Yes," Cia said, not faltering despite the gazes she was receiving. "As you know, the border is now under lockdown. Who knows when it’ll open? Since you owe us, show us what’s so great about this place. Maybe we’ll work here soday."

The man’s eyes lit up. "Alright, follow ."

’Cia, what are you doing?’ Mirta asked through their ntal link, her voice sharp.

’Trust , leader,’ Cia replied.

Mirta stared for a mont before relenting, and the tour began.

The man led them through the soldiers’ quarters, leaders’ quarters, lounges, shops, and when boredom finally crept in for the girls, he opened a final door.

"...and this is where we keep our patrol vessels."
