To pursue the Dao or not to pursue the Dao?

Xu Ping’an felt so hesitation in his heart.

If he were to pursue the Dao, what should he choose as his vessel?

For a while, Xu Ping’an couldn’t make up his mind.

Actually, the best thing he had on him right now was the Thunder Devouring Sword, but using the Thunder Devouring Sword as his vessel felt sohow inappropriate.

"If you want to pursue the Dao, you can choose that piece of red copper as your vessel."

Just at this mont, Cang Xue’s voice suddenly sounded.

"Senior Cang Xue, have you awakened?" Xu Ping’an asked sowhat surprised.

"Yes, I have awakened, just a short while ago," Cang Xue replied.

"Senior Cang Xue, you’re suggesting I choose the red copper as the vessel. Does that an it’s stronger than the Thunder Devouring Sword?" Xu Ping’an asked in astonishnt.

"Yes, the grade of the red copper is very high. Although your Thunder Devouring Sword is also of decent quality, there is still a significant gap compared to a complete piece of red copper," Cang Xue said.

"But the red copper is already broken; is it possible to find the rest of the fragnts in the future?" Xu Ping’an continued to ask.

"Yes, if you can find the other pieces, it will be of imnse help to you. Perhaps in the short term, the Thunder Devouring Sword as your vessel might nurture your Dao well, but in the long run, I still suggest you choose the red copper," Cang Xue said.

Xu Ping’an nodded, having mostly accepted Cang Xue’s words in his heart.

"Then how does this red copper compare to your true form?" Xu Ping’an curiously asked.

"The red copper is stronger than my true form, and considerably so. You can consider a complete red copper as the strongest weapon in this world," Cang Xue said.

"The strongest weapon in the world?" Xu Ping’an was shocked to his core.

If it was as Cang Xue had said, by choosing the red copper, he might really have an unexpected gain.

"Fine, I’ll heed senior’s advice and choose the red copper as my vessel to condense my Dao Principles," Xu Ping’an murmured to himself.

The strength of the vessel was crucial to the growth of one’s Dao and also related to the ultimate ceiling of one’s Dao.

A powerful vessel could not only contain stronger Dao Principles but also rge with the Dao Principles, making it more powerful.

Similarly, a powerful vessel could, in turn, nourish the Dao Principles.

This was why Cang Xue had suggested Xu Ping’an use the red copper fragnt as the vessel for his Dao Principles.

If he could find other fragnts in the future and rge them, it could bring unexpected benefits to the enhancent of his Dao.

"I’ll use the red copper fragnt to pursue the Dao," Xu Ping’an murmured to himself.

This fragnt of red copper could resonate with the Innate Dao Principle, and that alone made it an extraordinary item.

To use it to pursue the Dao had no issues at all.

Having made up his mind, Xu Ping’an began channeling all his Power of Dao Principles towards the red copper.

"Buzz!"

With a single thought, the red copper appeared at the location of his Purple Mansion.

The Dao Principle Energy rewarded by Purple Cloud Mountain also kept converging into the red copper.

Sensing that Xu Ping’an wanted to pursue the Dao, the red copper actually showed resistance.

"You still want to resist ? As a complete piece, perhaps you could do it, but just a fragnt of you can’t repel my Dao," Xu Ping’an coldly scoffed in his heart.

"Qiankun Dao Principle, condense for !"

Xu Ping’an roared in his heart.

His Dao Principle Energy continued to gather into the red copper.

Within an invisible space within the red copper, Xu Ping’an’s Dao Principles continued to converge, slowly beginning to form a path.

Soon, the Dao Principle Energy rewarded by the steps was devoured by him.

Yet, the path had not even condensed to the length of an inch.

"This quickly? It hasn’t even taken shape? Enough, I want to see how much Dao Principle Energy you need," Xu Ping’an’s eyes were sharper than ever before.

While continuing to climb the steps, he took out a Heavenly Dao Fruit and directly consud it.

With the Heavenly Dao Fruit consud, a trendous Dao Principle Energy exploded within his body.

Xu Ping’an imdiately mobilized this power, and with the understanding of the Qiankun Dao Principle, he began to form his own path of Dao Principles.

Ti dribbled away.

The power of the Heavenly Dao Fruit was completely devoured, yet Xu Ping’an’s Dao had still not taken shape.

"Again!"

Xu Ping’an imdiately said, determined to see how much power of Dao Principles it would take to form even a rudintary version of his Dao.

This ti, Xu Ping’an directly consud two Heavenly Dao Fruits.

The vast Power of Heavenly Dao was nearly concentrated to the extre.

However, such power of the Heavenly Dao didn’t last long before Xu Ping’an had fully absorbed it.

The fourth, the fifth, the sixth.

It was not until the ninth Heavenly Dao Fruit that a re inch of Xu Ping’an’s path of Dao Principles had ford within him.

"Damn, to condense an inch of the Dao path requires this much power of Dao Principles?" Xu Ping’an murmured to himself.

He had almost absorbed ten Heavenly Dao Fruits, which for others would be enough to break through a distance of five or six hundred ters.

But for Xu Ping’an, it had only condensed an inch?

It was not because of anything else, but because Xu Ping’an’s Dao was simply too broad.

"A width of ten thousand ters?" Xu Ping’an was sowhat speechless in his mind.

Yes, his Dao path was a staggering ten thousand ters wide.

For others, when their Dao Principles first began to form, they would at best be ten to a hundred ters wide.

Even a First-rank Dao Principle would not exceed a width of five hundred ters.

Xu Ping’an, on the other hand, started with a width of ten thousand ters.

How was he supposed to continue his cultivation then?

Starting at ten thousand ters, his path would continue to widen even further as he progressed.

And as a result, the amount of Dao Principle Energy he would need would be even more enormous.

In other words, Xu Ping’an’s path of Dao would be much more difficult than others’.

However, the power that burst forth from a Dao path ten thousand ters wide was also quite terrifying.

"Yin Xue, give all your pinecones; consider these resources as a loan from ," Xu Ping’an communicated to Yin Xue within the Demon Elephant Tower.

"Master, are you finally going to prove your Dao? Good, take all these pinecones," Yin Xue said with a laugh.

Having said that, she took out one hundred and one pinecones.

These pinecones were her treasures, precious to the point that she herself was reluctant to use them.

But for the sake of Xu Ping’an, she was willing to do it, not for any other reason but as an investnt.

She understood that by giving these items to Xu Ping’an, the benefits she would receive in the future would be even more substantial.

Xu Ping’an didn’t stand on ceremony and swallowed all the pinecones.

The path of Dao Principles within him also began to condense continuously.

After he had swallowed all the pinecones, Xu Ping’an had managed to form only a foot-long Dao Principle.

"How am I supposed to cultivate this Dao?" Xu Ping’an was sowhat frustrated.

A foot-long Dao Principle had depleted so much Dao Principle Energy; his current comprehension was probably only around a distance of five ters.

Does this an he would need much more Dao Principle Energy to successfully prove his Dao?

"Could it be that my first attempt to prove my Dao is going to fail?" Xu Ping’an was extrely frustrated.

He had originally thought that he had prepared enough resources and that it would suffice to prove his Dao.

But just one foot of Dao had consud so much; how much would be needed for five ters?

"Forget it, I can only hope that the Dao of Purple Cloud Mountain will be more abundant," Xu Ping’an murmured to himself.

So, he looked towards the twenty-thousand steps and hastily made his way there.
