"I want him dead, why can't we just go now and capture that shithead?"
This was the first ti they had seen Amaryll angry to this point as she radiated killing intent.
The round table seats were now occupied by all the important figures of Everlight such as Ken, Benedict, Vivian, Kayako, Nanbu, Ukita, Uncle Dior, Amaryll, Arwen, Joel, Grey, Stodemar, Dhursir, Nicolas, Hagu, and Reghys while the seats of Don, Knight, and Arrora were empty.
"It's not that simple, Amaryll, if we capture Noa without a reason, it'll be a reason for anyone who sees us as a threat to form an alliance and declare war against us"
Uncle Dior said.
"Also, if Noa's allies went and complained this to the emperor, there's a chance that the emperor sends his own troops in the fight against us "
Joel expressed his opinion and everyone except Amaryll nodded their heads and agreed with him as Stodemar said
"As much as I love ta kill that bloody bitch, we kinna put our kingdom in danger. Korrinth be already our enemy, Monivelle be certainly nae a friend, we already ssed with Vreston an' after this elf's fiasco in Mairis, they too attack us ta get back at us, nae ta ntion enarin also sees us as a threat. We be powerful but we kinna defend against half o' tha freakin rank 4 kingdoms "
"You are supposed to support , Dwarf! aren't you short fuckers are dumb battle junkies?"
Amaryll shouted at Stodemar in frustration as the room beca more intense.
"We be nae suicidal elf, didn't general knight teach ye nae ta be stupid?"
"STOP!"
Reghys roared and punched the table as the room quickly turned silent.
"I know this is a tense ti but if we fight among us, we lose the fight before it even begins and think about Don, this is how you are going to honor his mories?"
"He will co back"
Amaryll rebuked as Reghys took a deep breath.
"So what do we do, Guardian Reghys?"
Ken asked.
"I have a plan but it will need all of us to work together, can you do that?"
She asked and looked at Amaryll and Stodemar. And after taking a few seconds, both of them sighed and nodded
"Yes"
"Good, Kayako, what do you want, and how much ti do you need to concoct a Weludin pill? "
***************************
While Everlight was planning to gather the needed proofs before Arrora breakthrough to the Heavenly Level, Knight and Lia stayed at the Inn.
The last twenty-four hours slightly cald the girl's mind and she cried a lot less compared to yesterday and even started to ask so questions to get to know him.
When the rays of the morning sun shone on the land, after a night of silence, Lake town's atmosphere once again heated up. Over these past few days, news of the old tomb had spread throughout the continent at a terrifying pace. Nurous people hurried towards this city to prepare themselves before they headed towards Skull Island in packs.
A Soul Strength practitioner's tomb held an extre allure towards anyone.
Everyone knew that even if you had a low cultivation level, if you were lucky enough to stumble upon the treasures left by the Soul Strength Cultivator, then, you would also possess the ability to advance to breakthrough to the upper stages just by absorbing the remnant life energy. Therefore, for many people, this trip could alter their life completely.
As long as one could advance to the Heavenly level, regardless of who they were, one would beco a celebrity and join the elite group in Elvelon Continent. After all, a Heavenly level cultivator was extrely rare in the Elvelon Continent, and even after the replenishnt of the life energy, it was still hard to break through to the Heavenly Level from the Grandmaster level.
While the Lake town beca increasingly bustling, at the front of the largest shipbuilder of Riester kingdom, Knight finished buying high-quality wood and tal to build ships according to Lia's recomndation and geared up to leave for Skull Island.
Lia was shocked to see the wealth he just spent and wondered how rich he is. Because of his extravagant spending, Knight beca the elite custor of the largest shipbuilder of Riester in one go. With the materials he just bought, Lia could build at least three warships.
"After we explored the tomb, we'll co here again and buy the materials needed to build the ancient ships"
Lia looked at him as an astonishnt surfaced in the forr's eyes. Evidently, she did not expect that he actually had so much wealth in his space ring.
"Young master, how rich are you?"
She couldn't hold back anymore as she blankly asked him.
"Very, but don't tell anyone heh"
He laughed and patted her back as a slight redness appeared on her face without her control.
"I won't, young master"
Lia let out a small smile and said.
After spending ti alone with Knight, she beca quite attached to Knight. Unlike the youngsters she had t, he never tried to flirt with her or hit on her but he treated her with respect as a friend. Plus, he never looked at with any bad intention or tried to do anything against her wish, in other words, he was a perfect gentleman a girl could see. He even let her sleep on the bed and treated her to breakfast in bed, little things like this really touched her heart as she started to trust him more and more.
"Lead the way"
Knight said and gestured at her to show him the way to Skull Island.
Skull Island was situated at the border area between Yan City and two other cities. This mountain range was extrely wide and it nearly traversed across half of Tiandu province. In fact, it would not be an exaggeration to call it Tiandu province's number one mountain range.
Skull Island was extrely wide and broad and filled with thick forests. Contained within were nurous vicious magical beasts. In fact, it was said that if one ventured too deeply within, a single mont of carelessness would cause even a Grandmaster to be in deep trouble. Therefore, usually, other than so professional magical beast hunters, there was hardly anyone who ventured into Skull Island.
Of course, this situation was imdiately changed after news of the old tomb spread. Under the allure of a Soul Strength practitioner's tomb, this so-called danger was imdiately forgotten as greed overwheld their minds.
Hence, the originally peaceful Skull Island transford into a tourist hotspot in just half a month. Inside the mountains, one could easily spot another person from ti to ti.
As a huge amount of people rushed in, who knew how many of them ended up as fertilizers for these woods. However, everyone knew that if one wanted to cross Skull Island and successfully reach the old tomb, one must have a few tricks up his sleeve. Else, even if one could evade the magical beasts, perhaps at the next mont, he would be killed by a hidden trap.
In simple words, the journey across Skull Island was packed with danger, and losing one's life due to a tiny misstep was extrely common.
The journey from Lake town to Skull Island took roughly one day. Therefore, when Lia and Knight reached the outskirts of Skull Island, the sky was already turning dark. Faintly, one could see so campfires inside the woods.
"Today, let's set up camp here on the outskirts. Tomorrow, we'll proceed into the Skull Island" Knight looked at the dark sky before he stopped flying forward and descended.
Since she was standing on a flying sword all day and didn't eat anything during their journey, she was tired and hungry. So when he said this, she heaved a sigh of relief and felt glad to be on land after flying for so long.
After a few seconds, she looked for dry woods to set up a camp but she saw him waving his hand as a wind blast cleaned the debris on the ground, and with another wave of his hand, he erupted a big tent made of nothing but soil and stones. The tent was big enough for two to stay at a distance so he didn't erupt two tents.
"This will keep us dry if it rains"
He said before making a campfire using the dried woods lying around there.
"Hey Lia, news of this old tomb has spread for quite so ti, right? Will it be too late for us to go now?" As they were resting, Knight smiled as he asked. Upon arriving at this Skull Island, he finally realized how many people had been attracted by that old tomb. Based on these numbers, if they were to all rush into that old tomb, there would probably be nothing left and Knight couldn't afford to lose the life shard that could bring Don back from death. Even if he rushed now, according to Elder Greg, there's an energy barrier outside the old tomb set by a Soul Strength cultivator, and even from here, Knight could feel the power of the barrier and he knew that he alone can't break the seal.
"Young master, there's an energy barrier outside the tomb to prevent anyone from entering the tomb. By now the runemasters have started their work to weaken the barrier before the elites and prodigies break the spell, that'll take at least a day"
"Elites and Prodigies huh, do you know about their cultivation level?" his eyebrows lightly furrowed.
"Yeah, when I last saw them, many of them had reached the Great master level, by now, I guess they would have at least reached the mid Grandmaster level. Everyone has to rely on them to break the seal"
"What about Heavenly level? Is anyone on that level entering the tomb?"
When she heard these words, her facial expression slightly changed
"There's no Prodigy in this entire Elvelon Continent who reached the Heavenly realm at the age before forty and even with the replenishnt of life energy, it's impossible to break through to the Heavenly level before thirty-five. I only heard of so princess in Avelon continent who reached the Heavenly realm at a young age and they said she's blessed by the Gods"
"Yeah, I've seen her"
"So the young master is from Avelon continent huh?"
"You could say that and tell this, what if the Heavenly level cultivators of older generations entered the tomb? Isn't that unfair for the prodigies and everyone who enters the tomb?"
Even though he had already anticipated that this old tomb would definitely attract so truly powerful individuals, he wanted to know how powerful and who might enter the tomb with him.
"They won't, young master, the tomb said to have an age limit and even if it doesn't, the Empress, Her imperial majesty, prioritize the young generation and give them chances like this instead of the older generation "
"Well, this is bad news for your prodigies and elites"
Knight chuckled as Lia looked confused wondering what uplifted his mood.
