Everyone standing outside saw her produce a powerful wave by clashing her sword onto her silver shield that nullified the griffin's shriek and forced the griffin to land.
When the griffin landed on the ground, she didn't waste any ti as she leaped onto the griffin's back. The griffin shook its body and tried to throw her away from its back, but she was standing on its back with a perfect balance.
Step by step, she moved towards the griffin's head and noticed her coming towards its head, the griffin smashed itself against the walls to shake her off from its back. However, unlike its calculation, the princess jumped into the air the mont it hit the walls and landed perfectly on its back again.
Looking at the show she was providing for them, no one cared to look at the other projections including Don's where he seed to be struggling against the griffin since the pain in his chest was still affecting his body and mind.
On the contrary to him, Princess Audrey seed to have a good ti as she had a smile on her face unlike the other contestants in the other arenas.
If Knight was in his true form with his wings, he wouldn't be having a hard ti dealing with a flying foe. Every ti he tried to attack the griffin, it would fly away from him.
"Look, she's casting a spell"
They saw little twin dragons coiling around her hands. The griffin sensed the threat as it violently shook its body to shake her off. Yet, the griffin's struggle didn't do anything as the dragons made of energy grew bigger with ti.
"Devouring Dragons"
She uttered the words as the dragons transford and resembled real dragons. The griffin scread in fear as one dragon breathed fire as the other one breathed ice and with a thunderous roar, the dragons breathed fire and ice. The crowd stood shocked to the core seeing the ice and fire swallowing the griffin and in a few monts, the griffin disappeared into nothingness as Princess Audrey landed on the ground.
"Wow, she really showed us how it's done"
The crowd clapped and cheered for her while she put her reward inside her space ring without even taking a glance at it.
"This is why no one is able to touch the Archeron Kingdom, she alone can destroy many kingdoms in a single day"
Eventually, so of the contestants forfeited the challenge by entering the white light as others like Knight, Don, Arrora killed the griffin and finished the wave.
When the wave four started only the prodigies of the empires remained in the arena alongside Don, Arrora, the tigress, and Knight.
The wave four presented a humanoid creature that had four hands with long claws, two legs with poisonous spikes on them, and a pair of wings to give the creature the ability to fly.
The creature's head was covered with hair and the contestants were able to see a big eye staring at them. When everyone thought that the creature couldn't pose a threat to them like the huge griffin, the creature vanished into thin air and appeared behind the contestants in a flash.
Arrora and the tigress barely evaded its deadly claws. Unlike these two, Knight sensed the creature behind him as he quickly attacked the creature with his claws but the creature flew away just before Knight's claw could touch it.
"Great, super reflexes, flying and vanishing skill, this is going to be a long battle with this body "
Knight said with a frustrated tone and waited for the creature to make a move.
The battle with this creature went for quite a long ti until Princess Audrey perfectly calculated where the creature would appear after vanishing and stab the creature through its heart in a precise mont.
"You're fast, yet you're too predictable"
She waved her sword as the blood of the creature splashed onto the ground.
"Did you see that?"
The youths started to discuss her flawless techniques and cleverness as the others clapped and cheered for her.
At the end of the wave, the tigress beca tired and decided to leave the arena before the creature killed her. Just like her, Prince Rodrigo and the Coldfield sibling also left the arena and joined the others.
"I thought he's a swordsman"
The tigress saw Don fighting with the bow in his hand and trying to hit the creature but the creature kept vanishing before his arrow could hit it.
The reason the creature was escaping his arrows is that he hadn't put enough battle energy into the arjuna bow as the nails of the underground was still causing him great pain in the chest and affecting his mind.
The nails were said to be used by the demons in hell to torture their victims by causing them an imnse amount of pain. So when soone was pierced by the nails, it would take the victim at least a day of rest before he could feel the pain lessen.
Usually, Don would take two whole vials of healing potion to soothe the pain but he couldn't retrieve the potions from his space ring while everyone was watching him.
But gritting his teeth, Don sent enough battle energy to the bow of Arjuna as when the creature appeared, the runes on the bow shined, and shot the arrow. This ti the arrow was too fast as it pierced the heart of the creature before even the creature could react in ti. The power of the arrow made the creature's body explode as now so of them noticed Don and started to murmur about who he is.
He coughed a mouth full of blood after killing the creature as the tigress guessed that sothing was wrong with him. After Don, Knight also killed the creature by releasing a powerful blast around him to disrupt the creature's movents for a mont. When the creature beca disoriented, Knight sent a blade of wind and cut it in halves.
On the other side, Arrora used the sa technique as Princess Audrey, she first calculated the timing between vanishing and appearing, and then she predicted where the creature would appear next by analyzing its pattern. When the creature appeared where she had predicted, Arrora sent her sword through its head.
As a reward for killing the creature, Knight got a full set of armors that looked like they were made of Azrite and it made him very excited and happy. Arrora was rewarded with a sword that radiated flas while Don got a blueprint that seed to be showing the production of an ancient siege weapon.
After defeating the creature by various ans, Rosaline, Amara, and the crown prince of Star empire had chosen to leave the arena because they were injured in the battle and they didn't want to continue with the wounds that could cost their lives in the next wave.
When the fifth wave started Don, Arrora, Audrey, and Knight remained in the arena with a couple of prodigies of the star empire. A total of eight people remained in the arena as all the beasts were either defeated or killed or left the arena.
When the number five projected before them, they saw a huge ogre carrying a pillar that oozed hot lava appear. The youths stood dumbstruck watching the ogre and then it shocked them even more by breathing fire like a dragon.
"Shit"
Arrora realized that she couldn't beat the ogre with her current level and quickly rushed towards the white light barely escaping the fire the ogre breathed.
"Right choice"
The tigress nodded as the cubs sighed after seeing her safely coming out of the arena.
Arrora brushed away the dust on her robes and made her way towards the tigress and the cubs as they quickly leaped onto her hands and licked her.
"I'm fine"
The cubs purred and brushed their head against her face as she patted them on their heads.
"What happened to your friend? He was coughing blood a mont ago and he's not looking good"
The tigress pointed at Don as Arrora stared at him with concerned looks.
"Hey, is he from the star empire?"
The youths from the moon empire asked each other as the youths asked whether he's from the moon empire on the other side.
After discussing and gossiping for a few monts, the youths from the moon empire realized that the other girl and the youth fighting in the other arenas aside Audrey and Don were from the Star empire.
The youths considered Knight as the native beast of this land since no one knew where he ca from and Rosaline said that she didn't see a beast like him entering with them. Just like her, the crown prince guaranteed the youths from the star empire that the beast doesn't belong to the star empire. That left the crowd with one possibility, the bear was a native to this realm.
"Get out of there"
The crown prince of the Star empire murmured looking at the two contenders from his empire. He knew the girl and her arrogance, she seed proud to forfeit the challenge as she still stood there ready to fight the ogre with nasty cuts and wounds on her body.
Since the ogre was too big, she guessed that the ogre would move slowly so after putting a safe distance between her and the ogre, she started to cast a powerful spell. Everyone saw huge spikes made of ice appearing before her; each spike looked large as pillars and they were aiming at the ogre.
"I was wrong about her"
The crown prince said because he knew that the spikes could kill the ogre in a flash if they penetrated it.
However, before he could even close his mouth after saying this, the ogre threw the pillar in his hand at her. The weak-hearted girls and youths threw up when they saw her crushed by the pillar. The ogre slowly walked towards where she was standing a mont ago and lifted his pillar.
They threw up again when they saw the ogre peeling and scratching away what's left of the girl's body.
"I was right about her"
(The girl who just got killed by the ogre is not Audrey, she's a prodigy from the Star Empire. Forgive for not giving her a na because i thought it might be a little confusing to add many character nas)
