"Yes, your majesty"
Lord Clemo felt mixed feelings of fear and excitent in his heart and considering the guards were commoners like the villagers, they had a grin on their faces thinking about the upcoming event.
Standing up from his throne Don walked towards the woman and watched the little boy's motionless body.
"He will wake up today"
The woman and the villagers were stunned hearing Don and before the woman could react Don started to follow Lord Clemo.
"Co on lady, follow us"
One of the guards whispered to the woman as she nodded and walked with the guards.
Looking at Don and the woman leaving, the villagers also started to follow them. And surprisingly when they stepped outside of the castle, they didn't get drenched by the rain and when they looked up to see what's happening, they saw the raindrops flowing on an invisible shield around them like they were wrapped by an air bubble.
The sound of the thunderstorm reverberated through the place as Don was following Lord Clemo to Ryan's house. Lord Clemo and the guards were happy that they had been surrounded by the invisible shield around them, unlike Don who was fully drenched in rain.
"Your majesty, this is his ho"
After a few minutes of walking, Lord Clemo pointed at a big house in a few yards away from them. Lord Clemo felt like he was a guide to a demon when he showed Don the house as Don saw two guards standing in front of the gates.
And, when they wiped away the water on their face and looked closely at Don, they quickly rembered what happened to the guards in Lord Massen's house. And without even asking, the two guards pushed open the gates to let Don in because they were not paid enough to get their bones broken.
Don had no ti or mood to look at the house or gardens, he was walking towards the door when he heard a voice telling him to stop. Don could see a man wearing tal armor rushing towards him to stop.
"If anyone gets in my way, they'll die"
Looking at the man, Don raised his voice as he continued to walk.
"rcenary"
Lord Clemo knew that it was not the armor of Agoria or any other kingdoms so that ans one thing, the rcenary guild.
"Sto"
When the man got closer to Don, Lord Clemo suddenly saw sothing red splashed onto the invisible shield around him and sothing ca rolled near his feet.
And when he looked up, he saw a headless body dancing around while Don was walking towards the house.
Don didn't stop after killing the man with his ghost sword. A scream of one the villagers behind Don attracted the rest of the rcenaries' notice as they started to take out their weapons and rushed at Don.
The group running towards him had five n while two won stood behind and started to cast a spell to attack Don. Targeting the two won, Don threw his black sword in their direction as the sword soared through the wind and cut their heads clean off before even the two of them could react. Don let go of controlling the sword as he got closer to the group of rcenaries. Seeing Don was walking at them without a weapon, Lord Clemo wanted to grab one of the guards' spears and threw it at Don
"Shit"
But Lord Clemo saw Don fist sticking out of one of the rcenaries' back.
The four rcenaries were startles when they saw Don was holding a still-beating heart of their fellow rcenary in his hand. The villagers were scared shitless and Lord Clemo felt a familiar feeling in his gut.
The rceries looked experienced as they quickly regained their senses and started to coordinate their attacks. However, Don was more experienced, he threw the beating heart at one of the rcenaries and when he was blocking the heart by instinct, Don landed a kick on another rcenary's chest as he was sent flying. And when he landed on the ground, Lord Clemo saw his tal armor had a feet shaped hole in it while the rcenary coughed up blood a couple of tis before he drew his last breath.
The three remaining rcenaries had no ti to look back at their comrade as they tried to attack Don at the sa ti. Don noticed that each of them has a different weapon, spear, sword, and an ax but they all had one thing in common, they were made of tal.
Don knew he could only control one of the weapons and he chose the ax. And while he was evading the spear's pointy end, he deflected the ax as the ax flew past Don and stabbed into the sword rcenary's chest.
Since the spear of the rcenary was made of wood and the pointy end was aiming at him, Don broke the spear in half and stabbed the rcenary in the head with the pointy end. It happened so quickly that the ax rcenary was still trying to figure out how his swing landed on his fellow rcenary's chest while trying to pull the ax from his chest.
But before he could pull the ax, he saw Don stabbing his friend with the broken spear. And witnessing the bloodied brain matter of the spear rcenary, Lord Clemo couldn't hold it any longer as he threw up on the ground.
Seeing the last of his comrade falling dead and Don was walking towards him with the other half of the spear, the ax rcenary pulled the ax with all his strength from the chest of his friend and started to swing at Don mindlessly.
Even if the rcenary tried to swing at him with a technique, the ax wouldn't hit Don since he was controlling the ax with his battle energy.
"What's happening!?"
The rcenary was experienced with an ax to see sothing external controlling his swings and because of that, the rcenary chose to drop the ax and fight using the good old fists.
However, it was too late as Don stabbed the other half of the spear through his mouth. While holding the spear half in his hand, Don reached his hand as his black sword flew back to him and landed in his hand.
Considering the sound of the thunderstorm as well as the duration of the battle, no one ca outside to see what just happened.
"Thank god we never stopped him"
The guards outside the gates said looking at the dead rcenaries and for the first ti in their lives, they thanked their cowardness.
The group of villagers had never expected this at all as they started to follow Don taking their steps very carefully not to step on the pool of blood and the bodies.
Lord Clemo was trying not to look at the bodies because he had nothing in his stomach to throw up.
"Lord Clemo, careful"
When he was trying not to throw up, the guard behind him pointed at the heart before him and stopped him from stepping on it. And the sight of the bloodied heart made him gag as he followed Don inside.
The mont Don stepped inside the house he could hear so music as loud as thunder; it made the cutlery on the tabletops rattle on the entrance.
As he walked further inside the house, there were lights flashes coming from the hall and the music got louder and louder. The walls and the ceiling were decorated with balloons and various decorations as the more he walked, the more he could feel the party vibe coming from inside.
And Over the roar of music, a distant, hazy chatter could be heard. Lord Clemo couldn't make out any words, but laughter rang in his ears and wouldn't seem to stop. The song that was playing got louder as he followed Don.
"A party"
When they reached the hall, Lord Clemo saw the crowd of n and won dancing in the hall while the servants were running around carrying a tray of various drinks. The crowd was too busy dancing and they didn't even see Don or the villagers standing in the hallway. And now Don knew why no one ca out to check when he killed all the rcenaries, they were having a house party for so reason.
However, the reason for the party beca clear to Don when he saw happy birthday Ryan written on the wall across the hall. Lord Clemo really felt bad for Ryan seeing the writing on the wall because probably this would be his last birthday.
Lord Clemo saw that Don is looking for sothing and hearing the loud music, he realized what.
"Your majesty, it's that making the music"
Lord Clemo had to shout due to the music and noticing the big crystal box Lord Clemo was pointing, Don sent a half-moon shaped wind-wave at the box, and just as he expected the box was cut in half by the wind wave.
The sudden stop of music interrupted the party flow as the people looked at the crystal box and then noticed Don was standing in the hallway with a group of people behind him. So of the people who witnessed his saw Lord Massen's fingers the other day recognized Don and beca terrified at the mont they saw him.
"Party's over people"
