"Are you alive?" Sylvia asked in a monotone voice.

"Wha..." Davi exclaid in confusion. As he struggled to open his eyes, he found himself staring at a beautiful silver-haired girl.

As always, her expression was unreadable, completely devoid of emotion. However, for so reason, she was holding a severed head in her hands. Davi didn’t notice at first, but her clothes had a few burn marks on them.

"I guess you’re alive," Sylvia concluded after seeing that he was able to speak. "Can you stand? Sorry, but I don’t have any healing abilities to help you."

"Don’t worry about it," Davi said as he finally got to his feet. Then he used on himself. "What about you? Are you injured? I can heal you if needed."

The girl seed slightly surprised by his offer.

Her older sister had ntioned that Davi was strange, and in the short ti they had been together, Sylvia had already noticed it herself.

He had an unusual variety of abilities that didn’t seem to fit together. However, she chose not to ask about it for now, she had other priorities.

anwhile, Davi glanced around, trying to make sense of the situation. He realized he was still in the sa room as before.

Then, he recalled being drawn toward that crystal orb. But when he looked at the altar where it had been, he found that it was now empty.

"Can you tell who he is?" Davi finally asked, staring at the severed head in her hands. "And can you explain how you ended up here?"

"He was an enemy," Sylvia said, lifting the head slightly. "His na was Mo..." She furrowed her brows, trying to rember.

The man had said sothing about her being a great warrior, so he had wanted her to rember his na. But she had already forgotten it.

"I don’t rember," she finally accepted the reality. Then she explained that he was one of the enemies and that he had fire powers.

This only left Davi more confused, especially since Sylvia was far from being good at explaining things. That said, after asking her several questions, he managed to understand the situation.

They were apparently being hunted by so group of rcenaries. And that guy was one of the assassins, who ended up being defeated by the girl.

Moreover, Sophia was facing two more of them. Thinking about it, Davi naturally assud that the zombie fungus had sothing to do with it.

Still, there was one answer he hadn’t gotten yet. And it was sothing that had been bothering him for a while.

"And why are you carrying that head?"

"Hmm..." Sylvia stared at Davi, looking a bit confused. "I don’t know... I guess I was bored," she said while continuing to play with the head.

"Can’t you, like, create a ball or sothing like that?" Davi asked.

In response, Sylvia widened her eyes and even opened her mouth for a mont. That said, that was the most surprise she could express.

Then she threw the head away and created a volleyball. Davi decided he would just pretend none of that had happened and comnted:

"Okay, I think we should start moving. Can you take to where Sophia is? She might still be in danger, after all, she was being attacked. Besides, once we regroup, you can guide us to where the other students are."

"Impossible," Sylvia said.

"Why?"

The girl looked at the ground, then at the walls, avoiding Davi’s gaze. That said, her expression remained as neutral as ever, which made it hard for him to understand her.

"Co on, tell what happened," he asked more urgently.

Sylvia hesitated for a mont, then asked, "Is that an order?"

Davi found the question strange but shrugged and said, "Yes, it’s an order. Now tell why we can’t go to where the others are."

"There is no physical barrier preventing us from moving to the desired location," she began. "However, I am unable to provide a suitable route to get there. In fact, I was trying to get back to Sophia myself, but I failed."

"So you got lost?" Davi asked, a bit confused.

"I believe those words can describe my situation."

"And why didn’t you tell that before?"

"Is that an order?"

And again, that strange question. But Davi didn’t want to waste too much ti, so he simply said it was an order for her to answer all his questions.

"Well, admitting my lack of ability to move from point A to point B is embarrassing. I was ashad to admit my failure," she said in such a neutral tone that it all seed like a big joke.

"Can you explain what you an with this whole ’order’ thing?"

"Simple, I’m not good at making decisions," she explained, pointing out so examples of her inability to decide things.

As Sylvia described herself, she was a lethal weapon. But she needed soone to wield her. Alone, she was simply useless.

However, after getting lost in the temple’s maze, she ended up with no one to give her orders. After all, neither Sophia nor her older sister were around at the ti.

"My sister spoke well of you, and so did Sophia. That’s why, when I saw you, I hoped you could take on that role."

"Do you want to call you master until we find Sophia?"

"Do you want to be called master?" Sylvia tilted her head at a 30-degree angle, her large, innocent eyes fixed on Davi.

"No, call whatever you prefer."

"Understood, master," she replied.

"There’s no need to call that."

"But my sister said n like these things, master." She stepped closer. "So, you can do whatever you want with , master."

Davi sighed, a small smile forming on his face. By now, he knew Sylvia was just teasing him.

She was certainly different from what he had initially imagined. Despite appearing emotionless, she... Well, at the very least, she knew how to joke around. And apparently, she could also feel embarrassed about things.

"So, what are your two orders?"

Davi pondered for a mont. He was worried about Sophia but had a feeling she would probably be fine on her own.

Besides, the group likely facing the most danger was the one with lower-ranked students.

In fact, Davi wouldn’t have gone to explore the temple if he could have climbed back up the hole to find them.

However, after all that battle, he was too exhausted to use his powers. Or he should have been too exhausted for that.

That said, after touching that orb, as soon as he woke up, he could use again.

Had he been unconscious for an entire day? Or perhaps he had recovered quickly for so other reason.

Of course, no matter how much he thought about it, Davi knew he wouldn’t easily find an answer at that mont.

"Let’s return to the camp I was at." Concerned with more practical matters, he decided to take the lead.

"Understood. You know the way, right?"

"Yes, I morized it," Davi replied. Then he pointed to markings he had made on the walls with a knife. "Besides, I made markings."

Sylvia was positively impressed by this but didn’t show it on her face.

"But before we go, I need to check sothing." Davi said, opening the system screen.

He finally rembered the notification he had heard just before passing out. Sothing about leveling up. He didn’t know how important that was, but he wanted to at least check.

Davi was surprised to discover a new ability: . Despite its peculiar na, the skill offered remarkable benefits. It allowed any girl, whether part of Davi’s harem or not, to receive a 50% increase in all her stats for one hour for each orgasm Davi gave her.

Additionally, there was a vague description about the possibility of awakening a girl’s latent potential, provided he experienced an "epiphanic orgasm." The exact aning of this was uncertain, but it undoubtedly made the ability extrely powerful, especially considering the relatively simple requirent to activate it.

"Master, sorry to interrupt, but I believe we have problems." Sylvia’s voice suddenly cut through Davi’s thoughts. Then, everything around them began to tremble.
