Chapter 79: Hiding in Cave
The pill imdiately lted within Lin Xiao’s mouth as if it had been waiting for it. Lin Xiao could feel dense Qi entered into his body to his dantian then coursed all over his body before the Qi focused into his arms.
With the rich Qi, Lin Xiao could feel that his arms were slowly nded from inside.

"It’s an expensive dicine," Wenren Yu said helplessly. However, it was also the best dicine for Lin Xiao right now. He couldn’t drag Lin Xiao up this steep mountain because just climbing as one person was already very difficult.

"I’m not afraid of pain."
Taking the pill, Lin Xiao did feel stinging pain in his arms. However, the pain no longer bothered him that much. After experiencing such pain when he obtained the Emperor Inheritance, his pain tolerance had increased.
Well, just a little bit, though.
"Keep the rest inside the Spatial Ring again. I’ll explain the use to you later." Wenren Yu took out a rope and passed it to Lin Xiao before he bound the other end to his own body. "For precaution in case you can’t step properly."
Lin Xiao looked at the rope and frowned. "I’m already fine."
"Hurry up. Your brother is already waiting."
"Fine."
Taking the dicine back into the Spatial Ring, Lin Xiao tested his arms. He had already felt much better than before. Sensing this, Lin Xiao was very happy. With this he would be able to recover much faster.
"Don’t overexert yourself."

Lin Xiao sat down and sighed. For the first ti in his life, he felt that climbing the mountain was very difficult.

In the end, Lin Xiao explained the simplified version about what had happened. Lin Yun was also curious at the mark on Lin Xiao’s forehead, but Lin Xiao didn’t really know about that either. He could only say that the mark appeared after he initiated so chanism in the lake.
In the end, Wenren Yu chipped in and shared the knowledge that he knew.
"Emperor Inheritance?" Lin Yun was stunned. He looked at his brother’s forehead in shock. "You’re saying that it’s the mark that Brother should be an Emperor?"
"To be exact, he’s the Emperor chosen by the Heaven," Wenren Yu explained. "As you know, Sun Kingdom is just one of the many kingdoms in the entire land. There are a lot of kingdoms, but only a handful of them have their emperor chosen by the Heaven personally."
"Chosen personally?" Lin Xiao asked.
Wenren Yu nodded. "When Emperor Inheritance’s Inheritor died, the next Emperor Inheritance location will appear near the next successor. As long as the successor passed the test, he would obtain a lot of benefit and a responsibility."

This was the first ti Lin Xiao heard about that. He only thought that Emperor Inheritance was so precious treasure or sothing like that. But from the way Wenren Yu said it, Emperor Inheritance was actually for them to pick the next successor?

Of course, I didn’t an right away because if you show outsider that you’re Emperor Inheritance’s Inheritor, you’ll be targeted and possibly killed. However, you’ll need to beco an emperor, no matter which kingdom it is."
Lin Yun patted Wenren Yu’s shoulder. "I don’t think he’s listening."
The two of them looked at Lin Xiao, who was still crouching on the ground, seemingly unable to accept the fact that he had to beco an Emperor.
