Chapter 36: Claim
“One of us will die in the Bass Mansion!!!!”
The expression on the faces of everyone in the classroom turned grim the instant they heard Martha.
Everyone gulped, with eyes fixed on Martha, and linda who was the closest to Martha opened her mouth slightly before then saying, “Do you know who the person is?!” linda asked, seemingly worried.
Perhaps if it had been anyone who uttered those words, then they might not have reacted this way, but when it was coming from Martha, the story was quite different.
Martha bit her lips hard when she heard linda, “The person is...” Martha was about to speak when suddenly her body began to jerk uncontrollably, and this ti around it was even much more intense than that of earlier.
“Th-The... The person is...” Martha stuttered, but just like the previous ti, she wasn’t able to get the rest of the word out of her mouth.
The scenario continued to happen, leaving the students begging for her to solve the last piece of the puzzle. Beads of sweets could be seen on so of the student’s heads, as Martha brought pressure on them.

linda and the rest continued to stare at Martha as her body continued to tremble, it was only after a few minutes that she then stopped once again. “Thank you.” Martha stood from the ground and then gave her thanks to linda.
Staring at the students who had eyes glued to her the whole ti, Martha heaved a deep breath and said. “I do not know who the person is, but I’m well certain that, one of us won’t be returning from the Bass mansion.”
“And I say this with absolute certainty,” Martha asserted.
“Can... Can you do whatever it is you do and check who the person is one more ti, or which area it would take place, or maybe even the ti.” Jackson said.
linda and the rest stared at Martha with a tinge of hope present in their eyes. However, a few seconds, after Jackson spoke, Martha shook her head.
“It doesn’t work that way, but I can say that if we are going to the Bass mansion, we should also prepare that one of us won’t be returning.” With that said, Martha walked out of the classroom.
The atmosphere in the classroom beca cold after Martha left the classroom. The students were in deep thought, as what Martha revealed to them was a lot to handle.
“Hahahahahahahahaha!!!!” Suddenly, a loud roar of laughter suddenly rang out in the room. The person who broke into laughter was none other than Xavier.
“So what, if death cos knocking at our door, I say so long as it hasn’t walked through the door, we continue to enjoy our life to the fullest,” Xavier exclaid.
The students broke into smiles when they heard Xavier. “I agree!!!” Levi leaped onto the table in the classroom, “We are still alive, aren’t we?!”
“It shouldn’t be us who should be worried about death, it should be the Bass family because we aren’t only going to be wiping them out, we would be erasing them from history,” Levi said.
“Hahahahahahahahaha!!!!”
Aiden brought a carton of bottles out and placed it on the table. “Dig in, there’s enough drink for everyone...” The male students didn’t waste ti and imdiately after they saw the drink, they picked out their bottles.
As for the female, only a few of them took, while the rest shook their head at the boys.
“We... Y-Yesss you... Fuck you!!!!” Devon’s voice suddenly rang out. He lay on the ground with his hands and legs spread wide, and he began to spurt out gibberish.
While the students drank and began to discuss among themselves, Raphael’s eyes were glued to the white-haired girl in front of him. He held the bottle, and a not-so-friendly smile could be seen on his face.
Raphael wouldn’t deny that he wasn’t a bit concerned by the word which was spoken by Martha, after all, only a fool wouldn’t be terrified of death. But he didn’t see himself dying in their Bass mansion, so it had to be soone else.
As Raphael continued to stare, he folded his hands across his chest, “Once the Bass family saga is over, I have to figure out a way to safe myself from you.” Raphael mumbled in a voice only he could hear.
Up until now, he had walked carefully, taking precautions that would ensure his safety in the academy, and among the students, he had laid eyes on, no one gave him the creep as much as this girl.
“The ability to enslave and impose absolute command on any existence, living, non-living, natural and even supernatural from just having to touch them.” Even as Raphael said those words, a dreadful look could be evidently seen on his face.
It was no wonder why Devon and the rest were terrified of her because her power could be used on anyone, even those people who are more stronger than her could be enslaved forever once she touches them.
Raphael was staring at Aliyah when suddenly soone called his na out loud. “Raphael!!!!!”
Raising his head, and seeing who it was that was calling him, Raphael’s lips curved into a deep frown.
There was complete silence in the classroom, with the students staring at Raphael, and back at the woman who was at the door. “Can I have a minute with you?” The student who was at the door was the famous Serena.
After the disagreent which took place between Raphael and Serena on campus, both of them had yet to lay eyes on one another ever since then. It was like they gave each other space because of what happened.
“Please!” Serena’s voice rang out when they wasn’t any response from Raphael.
However, despite her plead, there was still no response from Raphael, it was only after a few minutes that he nodded his head, and began walking towards her. “Let’s make this quick, there’s sothing I need to do,” Raphael said.
Serena shook her head, when she heard Raphael, she then shut the door close and the both of them began walking down the hallway.
anwhile, in the classroom, a deep frown could be seen on Elisa’s face after Raphael walked out of the classroom.
“I assud it was all rumors, but it seems like the two of them are a thing!” A few seconds after Raphael left the room, Jackson’s voice rang out.
“Co to think of it, they do make a good pair.” It was Alice that spoke, “Serena is very attractive, and Raphael is also handso... If they are together, then, I’m very happy for the both of them.” Alice said.
Unbeknownst to Alice, after those words left her mouth, two female students who were standing close to her, glared at her furiously. It was as though they wanted to eat her alive for the word that she had just said.
Alice was quick to notice the glare, and she couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow, seeing how linda and Becky were staring at her. Her eyes, however, soon went towards Elisa, and her mouth opened slightly.
“Oh, oh...”
“Co on, don’t fool yourself. She must want to ask him for sothing, I doubt the both of them have anything together. Serena is a year-3 student, and also one of the top students in her class.”
“There’s no way” Sean exclaid.
Aiden’s eyes twitched when he heard Sean, he then took a few steps closer to Sean and said, “What is that supposed to an!” Aiden’s hands were clenched into a tight fist.
“I an exactly, what you think I an,” Sean responded, he didn’t back away from Aiden, and instead he glared back at him. “Take a look at the disparity of strength between the both of them, there’s no way Raphael is capable of hitting a woman who is ten tis much stronger than him.”
“And in case you have forgotten, she turned each of your love ssages down... The both of you aren’t in the sa league, and Raphael also isn’t in the sa league with her.” Sean said.
The rest of the students stared at Sean and Aiden, with a rather amused look on so faces. With no doubt, they hoped a fight was going to break out between the both of them.
Aiden sneered, “Cut the crap, Sean! The reason why you are this bitter is that she didn’t even glance at you when you ca to her.”
“Y-You...”
Aiden waved his hand when Sean was about to speak, “Just because you were unable to woo Serena like those other garbages, doesn’t an soone else can’t. And the whole they aren’t in the sa league, that’s bullshit.”
“I wasn’t supposed to say this, but I will, Raphael and Serena are both in a relationship. You also know what, the both of them were together throughout the week. And I an throughout.” Aiden nodded his head afterward.
Everyone was completely shocked when they heard Aiden, most especially Sean, as his mouth was left wide open.
There had indeed been so speculation that Raphael and Serena have a thing together in the academy, but a lot of people on the campus chose to consider it a rumor since both of them or soone related to them never asserted the claim.
However, now that Aiden ca forward, there were beginning to look at things differently.
Aiden went to his forr spot and sat on the chair which was close to him. A few seconds after he sat down, Bane’s voice sounded. “Is Raphael really together with Serena?” Bane asked in a low voice.
“Of course, not... I just couldn’t bear to see this Sean dude blab like he is so whiz!!!!” Aiden replied.
“Hahahahahahahahaha!!!!!”
