Chapter 747: Chapter 747. Trapped in Here With

Amon’s words stunned Lu Zou to silence. He then burst into laughter. "Hahaha! You are like your superior here. You don’t know your place. I originally wanted to grant you a quick death since I only needed Wi Zhuang’s sister to torture him, but I’ve changed my mind. You won’t die a quick death. Get him!!"

Lu n signaled his n. The bandits that filled the room rushed toward Amon. Amon wasn’t intimidated by their number. He walked forward casually.

When the first wave arrived, the Xian Cloth in his right arm unfurled, revealing the ceremonial dagger. Like a snake that ca to life, the dagger lashed forward. It pierced one of the advancing bandits. Without losing montum, it ripped itself out of its first victim and slashed toward another bandit.

The dagger accelerated as it moved. Countless sword lights flashed around Amon. The bandits that surrounded him paused for a breath before they dropped to the floor. None had intact bodies.

"What...? You are a divine cultivator?"

Amon’s action shocked everyone. Because they could sense his cultivation was at the Interdiate Malicious Stage, they thought that was the extent of Amon’s power. Only after Amon perford his art did they beco aware of his divine cultivation, which was more powerful than his infernal cultivation.

Tu Bien didn’t worry. He estimated the intensity of Amon’s divine aura was on par with his. He, however, had the advantage of his altered arms. He lunged forward while thrusting his left arm. The bony hook at the end of that arm shot forward.

The bony hook was connected to the arm by a rope-like fibrous tissue. It allowed Tu Bien to use the hook like a rope dart.

Amon slashed the bony hook. Their collision produced a clanging sound, similar to when two tals hit one another. Both Amon and Tu Bien were surprised after the clash, and they were both surprised by the sa thing. Their opponent’s weapon was harder than they thought.

’An altered body part can be as hard as a weapon?’ Amon thought. He better understood now why the denizens of this world were willing to have their body parts altered even when that caused them to beco a grotesque being.

Tu Bien followed up his assault by swinging his right arm, which was a large, beastly claw. He perford the swing with an arcane art. Sharp, crescent-shaped ice blades were ford following the swing.

Amon blocked these ice blades with another slash using his ceremonial dagger. The impact sent him reeling back. Ice flakes spread from the dagger and onto his hand. He felt a stinging cold invading his arm.

Tu Bien didn’t advance alone. The other bandits advanced with him. Seeing that Tu Bien had the advantage from the clash, they were motivated. They charged at Amon from multiple directions.

Unfortunately, they were t by two surprises.

The first was a host of battle puppets that materialized out of thin air and began attacking them. Amon only ever summoned his battle puppet army when he raided Xia To’s bandit base when he first t Wi Zhuang, so only Wi Zhuang and his team were aware of Amon’s secret troops.

The second surprise ca from Amon’s Elder God Veil. A mantle of darkness covered Amon’s entire body. All the attacks targeting him were devoured by the darkness without being able to touch him.

Amon also activated the ceremonial dagger’s inherent power. The shadow of a black sword protruded from his dagger. He slashed this dagger at Tu Bien’s bony hook, which ca at him again. The clash this ti produced a different result from before.

Tu Bien’s bony hook split in two after colliding with the black sword. Not only that, but the force from the impact also sent him reeling. He was not aware that Amon had already defeated Xia To, who had the sa cultivation level as him in the past. The current Amon had a higher cultivation level than when he fought Xia To. Once Amon used the Elder Gold Veil, he was no longer at Amon’s level.

Amon’s current state could even compete with a Peak Lord Stage like Zhang Daofeng before he ascended, though probably not yet on Mu Qin’s level. Tu Bien stood no chance.

"Ahh...!" Tu Bien suddenly scread. He looked down and saw that the lower part of his right leg was gone. A shadow-like creature was munching on his severed leg while chortling. This shadow creature was linked to Amon.

The shadow creature was Bo Wu, who sneaked from below when Tu Bien was distracted after Amon cut his altered hand. With his leg gone, he couldn’t cope with Amon’s next move. Amon used a movent art and flashed past him.

Everyone watched in shock and horror as Tu Bien’s head detached from his body.

Lu Zou and Lu n were among those who were most shocked. They didn’t expect this turn of events. They thought they had Amon and Wi Yin in the bag after they fell into their traps. They didn’t think so now.

"Kill him! We must leave!" Lu n exclaid.

Lu Zou was montarily confused about whom Lu n was referring to. He realized it soon. He turned to Wi Zhuang, who was still bound next to him. He lifted the knife he had been using to carve the wounds on Wi Zhuang’s body. It was a pity to give Wi Zhuang a swift death, but it couldn’t be helped. He aid his knife at his captive’s neck.

"No, brother...!!" Wi Yin called. He had been fighting the bandits with Amon’s battle puppets while trying to get close to Wi Zhuang.

Lu Zou’s knife rushed toward its target, but suddenly it was gone. Not only the knife, but his hand was also gone.

Lu Zou was shocked by his hand’s sudden disappearance. He looked to the side and saw a large, white fox. His severed hand was in that fox’s jaws. The fox had eight tails.

The fox was Lin Li. She had also grown these past few years. Her eighth tail had now fully grown, giving her the power to contend against Lord Stage cultivators. Not only that, but the fur along her body sported multiple tiny wings. These tiny wings discharged a power of the wind elent that allowed her to move in the air. She could now fly on her own. Her speed was also much faster when she was in her fox form.

"Whe–Where does this spirit beast co from?" Lu Zou asked in distress.

When he didn’t hear a reply from Lu n, he turned and saw that the guy was already running toward the exit. "Wait for !" He called.

He wanted to chase Lu n, but a wall of fire blocked his path. He turned and saw a large firebird. The firebird was shooting multiple fireballs to aid the battle puppets.

He then felt cold at his neck. Sothing was right beside his face. His eyes shifted to his right and saw the eyes of the large fox. The fox’s jaws were clamping his throat. He felt warm liquid flowing out from the points of contact.

"No...," was the only word he could utter before Lin Li ripped his throat violently. He couldn’t speak after that. All he could articulate were whizzing sounds. He dropped to his knees before slowly falling to the floor.

Lu n didn’t get far because Amon reached the exit before him.

"Have you people finally realized it?" Amon asked Lu n. "Your pitiful ploy doesn’t trap

in here with you. You trapped yourself in here with ...!"

Lu n tried using his best arts to fight, but he couldn’t last two seconds. Like Tu Bien, Amon split his head from his body. He looked around. All the bandits were dead, or were about to. The battle puppets went around and crushed the heads of everyone lying on the floor. The only one from the opposite side still alive was Jin Cheng.

The heir to the farm was cowering at the corner. His eyes were full of disbelief and terror. The people he had deceived had turned out on top. The people he aligned with had all died. He couldn’t think of a scenario where he would get out of this unscathed.

Wi Yin ran to Wi Zhuang and tried to break the chains that bound his brother.

Amon deactivated the Elder God Veil and stored all the battle puppets, Lin Li, and the Great Sun Hawk back into his black space ring before approaching Wi Yin, who still hadn’t managed to break the chains. He slashed his ceremonial dagger, and the chains were cut. Wi Zhuang fell into Wi Yin’s embrace.

Amon studied Wi Zhuang’s wounds briefly. He said, "He is not in danger. Give him recovery pills and let him rest. He will heal."

"Thank you, Brother Amon," Wi Zhuang said weakly. "I’m again in your debt. I don’t think I will ever be able to repay you at this rate."

Jin Cheng saw that everyone was ignoring him. Seeing that, he slowly sneaked toward the exit. But when he almost arrived, six large flying knives hovered before the exit, blocking his path.
