Chapter 649: Chapter 649. Enough of This!
"Let
guess, you two descended from past slave owners. These n and those under us descended from past slaves," Amon said.
"Correction, they are not descended from slaves. They are slaves!" Xan Chi exclaid. "Once a slave, always a slave!"
"Anyway," Fen Nu continued, trying not to let Xan Chi’s outburst ruin her storytelling. "As I said, the slaves’ descendants started making crazy demands. On many instances, they even turn violent. The thing is that many nobles sympathized with them. Hence, they were given leeway most of the ti. They bullied and harassed those they suspected of descending from slave owners. They even turned offensive on the smallest things, like if soone looked or spoke to them in a way they don’t like."
"In other words, they turned from the ones being bullied to the ones who bully," Amon remarked. He didn’t find this strange. He had seen the sa thing in his past world. He turned to Xan Chi and said, "I assu you experienced firsthand this bullying to harbor this level of hatred?"
"Hmph!" Xan Chi refused to comnt.
Fen Nu was again the one who spoke for him, "Chief Xan Chi here used to live in Kazhan’s capital, Bulo City. His father was one of the nobles who followed the new system. Not just any nobles, but a high-ranking one. His tribe used to be among the most powerful, holding a seat in the old conclave.
"His father, Xan Chow, was also among those who sympathized with slaves. Xan Chow used to donate to and help those known to be descendants of slaves. He even helped so of them join the royal court. With his help, these slave descendants rose quickly in status.
"For all his effort, he was repaid with betrayal. When one ex-slave pointed out that Xan Chi’s grandfather used to treat slaves badly, Xan Chow was called to answer. Instead of assisting Xan Chow, the slave descendant whom Xan Chow helped into the royal court turned on him instead. Xan Chow had no choice but to confront his accuser directly. Unbeknownst to Xan Chow, a mob had been raised. This mob ganged up on him when he showed up. The incident resulted in his death.
"The frustrating thing was that the accuser who had orchestrated everything was let free without punishnt. To make things even worse, this accuser was being given a place in the royal court, facilitated by none other than the slave descendant whom Xan Chow had helped."
"They have colluded from the start, those scums!" Xan Chi shouted in rage.
"Xan Chi tried to bring justice to his father, but the system favored the slave descendants too much. Hence, he left the capital with his tribe and road the land, returning to the old way."
"I imagine these two are connected to the two ex-slaves in your story?" Amon was referring to the two fighting inside the arena.
"The left one is the cousin of the asshole my father helped. His na is Fu Kong. The right one is his best friend nad Au Xan," Xan Chi answered. "They were on a trip visiting a town not far from here. I got wind of their arrival and imdiately mounted an assault. The schmucks under us are his retinues."
"I see. That’s why you have the records of being antagonistic against Kazhan’s royal court," Amon remarked. "I guess my decision to approach you is not wrong."
When Xan Chi wanted to ask Amon what he ant by that, his attention was taken by the scream of one of the n fighting in the arena.
"Kong...!" Au Xan had caused a deep gash in Fu Kong’s right waist. Fu Kong bled profusely from the wound. He also fell to his knees. Seeing his friend was wounded by his action, Au Xan grabbed Fu Kong with concern. "I’m sorry, Kong... I don’t an it. I–achkk...!"
Fu Kong took the opportunity to land a punch in Au Xan’s throat. He then pinned the man to the ground.
"I’m sorry, Xan! I can’t let my family die! I’m sorry...!" Fu Kong bashed his friend’s head with his bare hands while crying. Unlike Au Xan, he didn’t let guilt stop him. He continued to puml Au Xan until his head turned into a bloody mash.
Au Xan’s wife and daughter scread in horror while it transpired.
"Hahaha! Very good! Very good!" Xan Chi clapped his hands.
Fu Kong finally stopped. He was still for several seconds. He couldn’t avert his eyes from the ss he had caused. He finally realized he was still bleeding before he used the ridian points technique to stop his bleeding.
Xan Chi waved his hand. As he did, the guards who held Au Xan’s wife and daughter threw the two won to the ground. They proceeded to rip their clothes and had their way with them. The two won never stopped screaming.
Fu Kong watched the incident with wide eyes. He shuddered to think that this could happen to his wife and daughter if he lost the match just now.
"Fu Kong! You have won, so I’m going to give you a prize," Xan Chi announced.
Fu Kong was hopeful when he heard that. He asked, "Will... Will you let us go?"
Xan Chi laughed. "Hahaha! You are so funny. No, no. The prize I give you is better than freedom."
When Fu Kong was still confused about what Xan Chi ant, he heard the cry of her daughter. He turned to see that a guard had ripped his teenage daughter’s dress off. She was now naked. His wife tried to fight, but she was restrained by another guard.
"You promise to let my family go...!" Fu Kong scread at Xan Chi.
"No, I promise to let your family live," Xan Chi replied. "How long that lasts, however, will depend entirely on your compliance."
The guard shoved Fu Kong’s daughter in his direction. Fu Kong caught her daughter, who was crying hysterically, and tried to cover her naked body as best as he could.
"Now, I want to see you have your way with her," Xan Chi told Fu Kong.
"What... What do you an?" Fu Kong asked.
"Did Au Xan knock you in the head?" Xan Chi asked back. "I want you to fuck her!"
"But... But... She is my daughter..."
"I know... That’s what makes it exciting, isn’t it? Haha! Co on. Get on with it!"
"I... I can’t... Please...," Fu Kong pleaded.
"If you don’t, I will give the job to my n! They will have your wife as well, and you will watch the entire process! After they are finished, I will cut your wife and daughter into pieces and force you to eat them! Do you prefer that?!"
"Enough of this!" Amon thundered. He stood up. As he did, the wooden platform under him suddenly sank into the ground. The sounds of breaking bones were heard from under the platform, along with a huge amount of blood splashing out. The pained cry that had been constantly heard from under there was gone.
The silver-fanged wolf almost leaped at Amon due to his sudden movent, but Fen Nu managed to rein it in using a ntal command before it did.
"What’s the matter, General Amon? You don’t have the stomach for it?" Xan Chi asked. He didn’t mask his contempt.
Fen Nu joined the ridicule. "I guess even for a general who has been through much bloodshed, he has a limit."
"I don’t give a shit what you do with these people. What I can’t stand is you wasting my ti!" Amon exclaid. He waved his hand. A small knife flew at lightning speed and pierced Fu Kong’s head before anyone could do anything.
"Nooo...!!!" Fu Kong’s daughter scread as his lifeless father dropped to the ground.
Xan Chi and Fen Nu also rose from their seats. "General! Rember where you are! You are alone here. Don’t think you can leave here freely after insulting us."
Amon gave the two a wide grin. "I am never alone."
Suddenly, their surroundings were filled with countless battle puppets. These battle puppets were so many that they crowded the inside and outside of the camp. Many were also floating in the sky above.
"Wha–What...?" Xan Chi and Fen Nu were lost for words.
"Do you still want entertainnt, or should we get down to business?" Amon asked. "I can have my battle puppets rip the arms and legs of your tribesn for fun if you want."
This was the first ti Xan Chi and Fen Nu saw so many battle puppets. Although they were not a stranger to these automatons, Kazhan’s cultivators were more familiar with beast taming than with puppet making. Seeing such a sight did unrattle them sowhat.
Xan Chi, ashad that he had displayed a slight expression of fear at the sight, quickly gathered himself and said, "Don’t think that you can use numbers to intimidate us. You are right next to two cultivators who are as strong or stronger than you. We can take you hostage if we want. Your battle puppets won’t be fast enough to stop us."
"Are you sure about that?" Amon asked. He released his aura, which took both Xan Chi and Fen Nu aback.
They were correct with their estimation that Amon was at the Interdiate Spirit Stage. However, they had never felt such a dense aura. Even when Amon’s cultivation level was lower, Xan Chi could feel Amon’s aura suppressing his.
