Chapter 367: Chapter 367. Yuka’s Blood
Amon proceeded to store the battle puppets in his black space ring. He had to touch the puppets one by one to store them, so it took so ti. This process allowed him to make a brief appraisal of each puppet. Most of the battle puppets were high-tier engraved puppets, but he was delighted to find seven low-tier runic puppets among them.
He left Shi Zi’s mansion after storing all the battle puppets in the basent. He learned from Shi Zi’s journal how to open the path in the formation protecting the mansion. He rode the Thunder Roc and flew out of there. The guarding puppets let him leave in peace. They were programd to stop people from entering, not exiting. Additionally, Amon was already registered as a guest, so they let him be.
Amon couldn’t take these active puppets. Despite their owner’s demise, these puppets continued to carry out their tasks until their fuel ran out. If Amon wished to take them, he would need to fight and incapacitate them before he could reprogram them by accessing their control inputs. If he did, he would have to face all the battle puppets at once. These puppets were programd to aid each other in a fight.
There were three low-tier runic battle puppets among the guards. He wouldn’t win the fight. His poison was useless against these puppets. The puppet army he had just acquired was also useless for now. He would need to find a way to procure Zillium first to make use of the army.
Hence, he ignored those battle puppets and headed back to the Royal Academy.

Back at the Royal Academy, he was greeted by Lin Li inside his residence.

"Politely?" Amon asked. "She would get suspicious if you asked her politely."

The Amon who returned with the other students to the Royal Academy was not him but Lin Li. She used her transforming ability to disguise herself as Amon. With everyone witnessing him returning to the Royal Academy with Ji Zhi and the other students, no one would suspect he had anything to do with Shi Zi’s death.
Lin Li might have trouble keeping up her appearance by impersonating others, but not Amon. Their ntal link made him the closest person she knew besides herself. It was slightly taxing compared to when she used her regular human form, but not as taxing as if she transford into a random stranger. Hence, she was able to keep up the disguise.
"Nevertheless, I managed to force her to leave," Lin Li said. "By the way, this is the list of tools I need to take care of your plantation."
Amon nodded and took the list.
"And this is sothing the old teacher of this place gave you," Lin Li was holding a tiny flask containing a droplet of shining liquid. Amon knew what that liquid was from its aura.
"The water from the Spring of Life," Amon said as he took the flask.
"The old teacher also said you received twenty thousand sothing points," Lin Li inford.
’Full marks,’ Amon thought. That was not strange, considering it was he who acquired the mission objective. He figured Sima Fang didn’t ntion his incident with Yan Long to the teachers, considering the guy was no longer around to complain.
"You are not tempted to use this?" Amon asked Lin Li.
Lin Li shrugged. "I was. I still am, but that water is brother’s property. I will not use it without permission."
"Good sister," Amon patted Lin Li’s head. She appeared to like it.
"Also, that water sounds dangerous. The old teacher who gave it said you should not drink it. You should place the water on your skin and slowly absorb its aether by cultivating."
Amon smiled. "I’m not going to use it. I’m going to let you use it."
"?" Lin Li said with surprise.
"Not directly, though. Return to my ring, I will show you," Amon said.
"Good! I can’t wait to go ho," Lin Li exclaid. She wasn’t comfortable living with these other humans in her surroundings.
Amon extended his hand to touch her. Before he did, he said, "I added so things at the Southern side of your cottage. No need to be alard by them. They are inert."
Lin Li was puzzled by Amon’s statent. She didn’t ask Amon to clarify. She decided to just enter and see for herself.
"Wow...! Are all those real?" Lin Li asked after seeing the puppet army.
"They are, but I need to work on them before they can move. So, they are useless for now. Just ignore them."
"Okay," Lin Li said. "Though if you can get a few of them working, they can help
tend to your plantation."
"I will see what I can do," Amon answered. His projection was floating beside her. "Now, about the water from the Spring of Life. Follow ."
Lin Li followed Amon’s projection and arrived where the Primordial Blue Lotus was growing. It almost reached adulthood, but its flower was still closed.
The tiny flask containing the water from the Spring of Life was floating above the flower. It moved following Amon’s will. He opened the flask using his mind. The shining water droplet fell into the soil right next to the stem of the Primordial Blue Lotus.
The soil glowed in response to the droplet. It then shivered. The shiver happened because the lotus’ roots inside the soil beca agitated by the nourishnt from the droplet. Not long after, the blue petals on top of the Primordial Blue Lotus started opening. The petals opened one by one until finally, it was a fully blooming flower.
"It is beautiful!" Lin Li exclaid.
Blue liquid leaked out of the flower. This was the lotus’ nectar.
The Thunder Roc, who was nearby, charged over when it slled the nectar.
"Stop!" Amon commanded. The Thunder Roc screeched to a stop. However, it was not a voluntary stop. It seed in pain as it struggled to push forward. Amon had to focus his mind on his ntal link with the Thunder Roc to keep it still. That was how intoxicating the nectar was to spirit beasts.
Lin Li bared her fangs when she saw the Thunder Roc coming over. It looked like she was ready to fight the giant bird for the nectar, even when she was weaker than the Thunder Roc.
Amon used a tiny vial to scoop a few droplets of the blue nectar. He then announced, "Lin Li will have the nectar first. You two will take turns. The next one will be given to the Thunder Roc. However, I will have a few droplets before you two drink it. Is this clear?"
The Thunder Roc seed unwilling but couldn’t defy Amon’s will. Lin Li nodded and proceeded to scoop the nectar. She drank it greedily. She looked more like a beast than a girl at that mont.
"Haaa...!" Lin Li dropped to her knees after drinking the nectar. Her face showed imnse ecstasy. She slowly lay on the ground next to the flower, muttering to herself. She looked like soone high on drugs.
Amon thought perhaps this reaction was due to Lin Li drinking the blue nectar for the first ti.
The Thunder Roc cald down after the nectar was gone. It stayed near the lotus, though, eagerly waiting for it to produce its next nectar.
While Amon was taking care of his tad beasts inside his black space ring, his real body was walking to Xin Wuming’s residence. He gave Xin Wuming the list of tools from Lin Li and asked him to procure them. He also asked Xin Wuming to search the market to see if they could buy so Zillium. Lastly, he gave a ssage to pass to Sui Kui.
He returned to his residence afterward. He went to his alchemical apparatuses, which he had set up in one corner. There, he took out the vial containing Yuka’s blood.
The reason he asked for Yuka’s blood was because it was the main ingredient for a new recipe revealed inside the 101 Primal Poison To. However, the recipe was not for making poison. It was instead an enhancent thod.
The recipe was called the Poison Blood Infusion thod. It said in the to that if the practitioner successfully infused his blood using this thod, it would change the nature of his blood. His blood would flow faster, making him stronger than the average person. His blood would beco acidic. It would burn those splashed by his blood and poison those who ingested his blood. He would also beco immune to poison.
However, the best benefit of successfully applying this Poison Blood Infusion thod was he would no longer suffer a bottleneck until he reached the Demigod Realm.
Normally, every cultivator had to go through a bottleneck whenever they were about to level up. Most cultivators used special pills to help them break through this bottleneck. Amon did so, too.
