"Sleep with you? Is sleeping necessary?" Damien asked, just to be sure he heard right. The first thought that ca to his mind when she asked made him rebuke himself. But on second thought, he knew what she ant. It was just that he still found it surprising since would cultivators of his level need sleep every day, let alone soone like his aunt?
Akira shook her head softly and said, "I know we don't really have to sleep, but sleeping has its benefits. At least for a few hours, you should sleep since it would flush out any impurities in your system, help stabilize your foundation and make your ethereal core work at its best. It would greatly benefit your cultivation."
"Oh..." Damien had no idea sleeping still had so many benefits and asked Luna, "Luna, why did you never tell about these things?"
Luna harrumphed with her arms crossed, "You really have to ask after nagging to tell you the fastest and best way to get strong enough within two years? With such a rushed tiline, when were you planning to get so sleep? In between killing ethereal beasts or while plotting to take down those empires?"
Damien winced slightly, realizing that she had a point. Of course, he wasn't cultivating non-stop, nor was it ideal, but he did spend a lot of ti trying to bring down Ruthren and the Dog Emperor, Daugmir.
Luna leaned against her Shard of Essence as she said with a peculiar look, "Besides...even if you slept, I don't think you would have slept like a baby. In the beginning, when you slept with Valentina, you were awake the whole ti since closing your eyes doesn't equate to sleeping."
Damien inwardly sighed, knowing that this was a fact as well. How could he sleep like a baby if the mories of his previous life were keeping him awake? It was only after eting his won that things got better.
Akira's eyes squeezed slightly as she added, "And...I don't want you to spend the night in your room. It's not that anyone from our clan would dare to harm you, but I can't risk anyone from outside trying to harm you. I know the chances are almost nonexistent, but I would feel better if you were in here with , at least during the nights. You...don't want to?" Akira asked with her lips pressing together in a slight grimace.
Damien felt his heart tighten, seeing her expression getting a bit sad, and imdiately said without thinking, "No. I would like to sleep with you."
Akira smiled as her face lit up, her smile charming Damien yet again.
She pulled his hand and walked towards the large king-size bed, "Co...I will wake you up within a few hours so that it wouldn't impede your training."
Damien nodded, though inwardly, he was worried about himself or what he might do.
Akira laid down on her bed and patted the mattress as she said with a subtle smile, "Co here..."
Damien took a deep breath as he got on the bed and laid down beside her stiffly, leaving so gap between their bodies. He never thought a day would co when he would feel nervous around a woman. He felt it was because he had no understanding of how to act around soone who was family, especially if that person was a drop-dead gorgeous beauty.
He was trying his best to not do anything awkward. This ti he had to control himself.
Luna couldn't help but giggle in amusent, "The great harem lord trying so hard to not get aroused by his own aunt. What a joke, tehehe."
"Hey! Don't give stupid titles to my Master. He deserves better, and this is just his first ti sleeping with his aunt. That is all," Kalypso spoke in defense of Damien.
"He is just one step away from becoming a true harem lord," Luna said with a smirk, making Kalypso facepalm.
"Co closer," Akira said in a softer voice as her arm wrapped around Damien's waist and pulled him close till it pressed against her supple body, making Damien blink his eyes. She barely applied any strength and his body already slid towards her. The sensation of pressing against such a soft body made his blood tingle. And the fabric of her cloth being thin only made it worse.
He was lying straight on his back when she slowly made him turn towards her, making him face her body. It was dark except for so moonlight casually making its way into the room. But he could see the faint moonlight reflecting off her pale gray skin that was as smooth as moonstone. However, it was her dark yet glowing purple eyes that made it hard for him to take his eyes off them.
"I forgot you were so tall, and now our roles have reversed," Akira said in a tone of nostalgia as she lowered herself onto the bed to hug him and rest her head against his warm chest.
Damien felt her cold arms wrapping firmly around his body and her bountiful breasts pressing against his chest, which made his blood tremble even more. He had no idea her breasts were this big. This felt even bigger than Reva's.
But he shook off these immoral thoughts and asked, "Reversed?"
"Mnn...When you were a baby, you always used to sleep so peacefully on my chest. Now I am resting on your chest...I missed this warmth you always gave ..." Akira said in an endearing tone.
No soul who knew her would ever dare to imagine in their dreams that she could speak in such a soothing voice.
Damien didn't expect that he also spent his sleeping ti as a baby with his aunt. Did this an his mother never cared enough to even look after him during the night, at least? He didn't know why he was feeling this disappointed and sad about soone he had never even t.
Did he already expect sothing from his mother subconsciously?
Akira felt the change in his aura and caressed his back, "Close your mind and relax, Damien. If you have trouble sleeping, you can rest your head on my chest like old tis."
"No, it's fine. I am already feeling comfortable like this," Damien imdiately answered with a chuckle as he put his arm around her body as well.
Even though his aunt told him to relax, he felt as if, for the next few hours, he wouldn't be able to relax even if he wanted to. The last thing he wanted was his draconic blood doing sothing stupid while he was dozing off.
