"What the hell is she doing..." Damien mumbled in a confused tone seeing her coming out of the cage.
He was not only surprised that she freed herself so easily, but he was puzzled, wondering why she would co out while these dangerous nethereal beasts were still standing around.
Damien had a strange feeling that she ca out because he showed her that he had a similar amulet to the one she had.
He still didn't know if it was a good idea to show the amulet, but for so reason, he felt that he did the right thing.
"Harku Punto!!?"
"Hazu kumbala!"
"Mutoo!!"
And as expected, three beastn who were managing their slaves saw her co out and imdiately surrounded her.
Damien was sure that each of them was at least at the first level of the Noble Nethereal Realm.
He looked at the woman, wondering if she knew what she was doing.
However, to his surprise, he saw her looking at him with a confident smile.
He wondered if she was reassuring him and, if so, why...All this just seed confusing and complicated, especially when he thought about the matching amulets.
Could she really be...
*Crackle*
"Arukla su," The woman mumbled with a cold light in her eyes as dark purple lightning streaks danced around her body, making Damien's jaw slack.
The dark purple lightning still looked so bright and beautiful. The way the lightning streaks danced across her body and the boundless aura radiating from her body made her seem like a lightning goddess.
Damien had no doubt she was way more powerful than he expected, which only made him even more confused about why she got captured.
And before he could even think of anything else, he saw her striking one of the beastn who was already in his beast form with her dark purple lightning while the other two imdiately transford into their beast forms, each looking like the giant humanoid lizard he saw before.
But her expression still didn't falter upon having two giant beasts trying to claw at her.
The nethereal beast at whom she struck with her lightning first was continuously shaking under shock.
But suddenly, his body stopped shaking, and he lunged toward two of his fellow beasts who were about to attack the mysterious woman.
"What the..." Damien was surprised to see that nethereal beast attacking his own people.
He could see that this beastman was still getting struck by her powerful lightning blasts, but it wasn't killing him. Instead, Damien deduced that she was sohow using her lightning blasts to control that beastman into attacking his own n.
And with ease, she attacked the second beastman with her lightning blasts, who fell into her control as well. And the two beastn, as if possessed, ganged up on the third beastman, ripping him to shreds.
"GARHHHHH!!!" The third beastman was taken by surprise upon having two of his own people attack him out of nowhere.
He could only helplessly howl in shock and horror as the two beastn tore off his limbs before tearing out his throat.
"Kusu manla tru," The mysterious woman mumbled as she lowered her hands. And the mont the dark purple blasts left the bodies of the two beastn, their bodies exploded into thousands of fleshy bits. Even the blood seed to have been vaporized, preventing a bloody scene.
Still, Damien was stunned to see such three powerful beasts whom he couldn't even touch being easily killed like bugs by this mysterious woman.
"Luna...how strong is this woman?"
"Took you long enough to ask. Surely she is at the mid-levels of the Pri Nethereal Realm," Luna said while carefully observing this woman.
"Pri Nethereal Realm? God damn..." Damien didn't expect to co upon such a powerhouse shortly after coming to the Old World. She was in the highest realm possible in the mortal world!
"Master, be careful! This woman seems to show an unhealthy amount of interest in you," Kalypso frantically said as she saw this woman walking towards the cage Damien was in.
Damien knew Kalypso's warning was not without reason. He just saw her obliterate these three beastn like they were nothing.
So it would just take a snap of her fingers to send him into oblivion. And this was not considering the fact that she belonged to a race that devoured the flesh of n and won.
Still, Damien slowly activated his Undying Wrath just to be safe, even though if the worst were to happen, his chances against her would be basically nil.
His left arm was still severely injured and useless, while the healing pill he took wasn't fully effective in healing the other injuries in his body too.
A tiny spark of lightning escaped from her forefinger and struck the cage Damien was sitting in.
His eyebrows raised when he saw the cage turning into dust.
With a wary gaze, he stood up. He was pretty tall, especially after his physical evolution. Yet, he was barely towering over her since she was about 185cms tall.
She was even taller than Valentina, and despite having a noble elegance to her deanor and beauty, her aura resonated with that of a warrior who had made her way through countless adversaries.
She slowly raised her hand towards Damien, making him raise his feet to step back out of wariness.
cO,m "Kunal tova..." She said in a gentle, bone-lting, charming voice, making Damien stop moving upon feeling less uncomfortable after hearing her words even though he had no idea what they ant.
He took his chances and stood still and felt relieved when he saw that she was caressing the black amulet around his neck, inspecting it very carefully.
The longer she looked at it, the more Damien felt her aura starting to beco erratic.
"Damien..." The mysterious woman suddenly mumbled his na in a voice choked with complicated emotions.
The way she said his na struck a chord sowhere in his heart, making him feel as if he had heard it before.
But before he could react, she suddenly hugged him.
"EH!"
