Just as Damien was waiting for the others, he saw Kale flying coming toward him in a hurry.
"Damien? You didn't tell you--" Kale paused when he saw the woman who almost destroyed his life.
His expression imdiately darkened as he extended his hand to choke her, "You whore!"
Farah was startled by his presence, or maybe she expected to see him here. But feeling the resentnt flooding from him, she closed her eyes with a complicated look.
"Wait, Kale!" Damien quickly stopped him before anything could happen.
"Let go, Damien! This whore shouldn't be kept alive. I thought she had already died in so dirt hole after running away but to think that she had the guts to return here," Kale said with gritted teeth.
"I know, but you don't understand. She is from the Old World, and right now, we need her. Look!" Damien turned Kale around as he showed the Abominable Fiend destroying everything at a distance while the air around it was becoming darker.
"That thing is already moving on to the next town, and it won't be long before it destroys everything on this continent. I know you already got news about those things, but I need her help to get it away from here," Damien explained.
Kale took a deep breath as he tried to calm himself down while trying to process what he had just heard.
He already knew about the threat of the Abominable Fiend and was on his way to investigate himself when he heard about soone spotting Damien and a very beautiful woman following him.
It took him a few monts to recognize Valentina due to how different she seed from before, but his attention was on the Abominable Fiend as he asked, "What can I do to stop it?" Kale had a lot of questions, but he knew ti was short, and his empire ca first before even his own revenge.
He had already lost a lot of people to that monster, and right now, his nerves were shaking, feeling unsettled about the future. It hadn't even been long since he inherited the empire and he couldn't simply let it all get destroyed.
"I want you to call back all your n and not try to fight it. Nobody here can defeat that thing. Not even ," Damien said, and right at that mont, Lily and Elor reached his side.
"Then what are you planning to do if we are to do nothing?" Kale asked with knitted brows.
Damien looked at Elor and Lily, who nodded at him with a serious expression as he said, "I am going to distract it and lead it to the Old World so that everyone here wouldn't have to worry about it any longer. The lands here will also return to their normal state after so ti."
Kale beca concerned as he asked, "But you just said not even you cannot defeat it. How can you then lead it away alone?"
"Don't worry, son. That is why we are here. To help him do that. But of course, there are no guarantees in life. This is sothing we will have to do and see for ourselves. Fate has not left us a choice," Elor said with a low sigh.
"This will probably be the last ti we will be seeing each other, Kale. Even if everything goes well, I can't return to this continent. That is one of the reasons I need her alive," Damien explained, making Kale understand his intentions.
Damien handed over a silver token to Kale as he said, "Anyway, this is farewell. I know you will be a better emperor than your father. Let's go," Damien said to Lily and Elor as they flew up while Valentina grabbed Farah's arm and flew away in another direction, with Kale looking at their backs with a complicated expression.
He knew Damien was younger than him, but he also knew that the future of this continent was resting on his shoulders, "If everything goes well, this continent will never forget who saved them," Kale mumbled as he closed his eyes.
"Grandpa, did you say everything you wanted to Reva?" Damien asked as they flew up into the skies.
Elor softly smiled as he said, "I did. I wish Irene and I could follow you all into the Old World and stay with Reva as well. But I also know that this continent needs us, especially when we were born and raised here. This is our motherland, and if we are not here to look after it as its guardians, then who will? As for Reva, I know you will protect her more than we ever could. Your strength will never fail you, and let's hope that Farah won't betray you," Even though Elor said this, he was still apprehensive about Damien and his wives going into the Old World blindly, not knowing what was on the other side except that unknown dangers exist.
But they had already discussed, and Elor and Irene agreed that they would stay behind to look after the continent, especially the Xeton Empire, which has no ruler now. There were still thousands and thousands of Zirians in the Xeton Empire who all would need their help to fully gain their freedom.
"Yes. I hope we will see you all again soday, Grandpa," Damien said with a parting smile as Lily also bid her farewell to Elor with teary eyes. She had also beco fond of Elor after getting acquainted with him all this ti.
Elor flew away in a different direction as per Damien's instructions while Lily worriedly grabbed Damien's arms before he was about to fly off in the direction of the Abominable Fiend, "You can't get hurt, okay? We will all be waiting for you," Lily said with her lips firmly pressed together, making Damien smile as he kissed her lips softly before staring at her beautiful black pearl-like eyes, "Wait for . I will be back soon," Damien said as jet-black lightning streaks danced across his body before shooting through the skies as he flew towards the Abominable Fiend while Lily took a deep breath and flew even higher into the skies, following Damien's instructions.
She and her fellow sisters knew that today was going to be a day that the Rising Sun Continent won't ever forget or the day where everyone would be forgotten.
