Damien asked Yuria to wait since he had to et Tristen's mother, Rhea, and tell so things.
Rhea was smiling from ear to ear upon seeing Tristen and rushed towards him for a hug. Damien's face got pressed into between her cushy bosom and had an awkward expression since he knew this woman was just another woman to him, and the affection she was showing was kind of inappropriate for him, not that he blad her.
Rhea kissed Tristen's forehead and said, "You finally made proud, son. I knew it! I knew you had the potential in you. Now you not only have one of the most beautiful and talented won as your wife, but the seat of the crown prince is also not too far from you. Still, I never expected your father to put out such a ridiculous challenge at the last mont. Anyway, Kale also has to take part, so I don't have much to complain about."
"Don't worry, mother. I will handle it," Damien inwardly was feeling pity for this woman, knowing that she was interacting with her dead son though he knew he had no choice but to go through with this till he accomplished his objectives.
He could only wish that this woman gets the son she deserves next ti and not soone who didn't even pay her a single glance.
"Good. Now you are becoming more and more like a true prince. Mother likes it," Rhea said with sparkling eyes as she lovingly caressed Tristen's head.
"Wait...why didn't you bring your fiance to see ? Are you that shy to let et her?" Rhea asked with a pinched expression.
"No, of course not. But Yuria said she would co soti later since she had sothing to prepare. I don't know what since those are won's stuff," Damien didn't want to make things worse by letting Yuria and Rhea et since not only would it make things more awkward and complicated, it wouldn't do the two any good in the end.
But inwardly, he wished he had a mother or at least soone close to show his fiances to. However, this thought only lasted for a mont in his mind before vanishing away.
Rhea had a disappointed expression and said, "Oh...then next ti it is. Anyway, what is your plan now? Like how do you plan to take back the Shizar Kingdom?"
Damien confidently said, "No need to worry about it, mother. But I need you to do so things for ."
"Of course, whatever you want," Rhea said with a strong nod.
"Well, I will continue to send those Strength Returning Pills to you from wherever I am. You can keep giving them to royal father so that our armies can get stronger in the anwhile," Damien said with a narrowed gaze.
"Of course. Isn't that a given? It's best to impress him as much as you can just in case," Rhea said with vigor as if she wanted Tristen to overwhelm the Gale Emperor with his achievents.
"Alright. Also, I have one other to ask you...but promise , you won't do anything out of anger or sothing," Damien said in a cautious tone.
Rhea had a confused look, "Anger? Why would I be angry? I an, what did you even do for you to say like that?" Rhea again wondered if she heard so infamous news regarding Tristen for the past few days, but she couldn't rember any, making her even more curious.
"No, it's not about . It's about royal father and sothing you may have to be concerned about," Damien said in a low voice.
Rhea furrowed her brows and waved her hand as an ethereal barrier covered the two, which could prevent any conversations between the two from leaking out.
Damien could feel how thick the ethereal barrier was, making him feel impressed by Rhea's cultivation.
'As expected from the true empress…' Damien inwardly thought.
"Okay. Now you can tell . It's safe," Rhea said with a focused look.
"It's about Farah. This sounds outrageous, but I don't ask anything without good reason. Do you think...I an, I don't have definite proof but...could she be sleeping with royal father?" Damien asked in a doubtful voice.
Rhea had a look of disbelief as she dryly chuckled and shook her head before saying in a serious tone, "Tristen, you can't joke about such things, especially in public. If anyone else heard these words, especially Farah or your father, do you have any idea the kind of trouble you could be in?"
Damien sighed and said, "I know, mother. But I am telling this to you since Farah might not be the person she seems. But how about you use your knowledge of formations or maybe with the help of Mina to co up with sothing that could prove or disprove this? Please say you will think about it because you know how grave this matter could be."
Rhea still didn't want to believe it, but then she knew what kind of person her husband was though she had no idea if Farah was the sort of person Tristen says.
So with a heavy heart, she nodded, "Alright. But...even if on the off chance it was true, what could I possibly do about it?" Rhea asked with a wry smile since she knew those with power could do anything, and not even their own wife could question them.
Damien gave a reassuring smile, "You don't have to worry about that, mother. Just send whatever proof you get, even if I am not here and I will take care of those things."
"Okay, but don't do anything that could get you in trouble. I wouldn't definitely allow it no matter what. Your well-being cos first rather than getting involved in these dangerous matters even if it affects ," Rhea said in a firm tone.
"Of course, mother.. Then I will be on my way now."
