In reality, a new disciple overestimating himself to challenge a senior Elite disciple wouldn't instigate this much attention as everyone knew who would win without even witnessing the challenge.
It would be pretty boring for them if the match ended within seconds without seeing so adrenaline-pumping monts.
However, this ti they wanted to see what happens after the challenge was over and if Roy would puml Damien half-dead, especially when they all knew Valentina was the girlfriend of Damien.
They wanted to know how she was going to handle things after sohow surviving Dennisa's vicious attacks. They wondered if Dennisa would let off Valentina without much injury, considering that Valentina was the personal disciple of Alchemist Azrael.
The promised ti for the challenges drew nearer and nearer by the second; less than fifteen minutes remained. However, only Damien had arrived while the other Roy, Dennisa, and Valentina hadn't arrived yet.
They thought that Damien arrived early because of being too nervous to wait for the last minute. However, seeing his calm and collected deanor, they didn't feel like it. It seed as if Damien ca here for a stroll.
However, right at that mont, a disturbance suddenly appeared from the south side of the plaza where the arena was, and waves of exclamations resounded.
"Oh my god! Headmaster Leon has arrived!"
"But why? Is this match really that hyped that even he ca? Seriously, I can feel so shit going down today."
"I know, right. If the headmaster is here, surely he must feel that the matches are going to be interesting. But I wonder if he is here because the participants are Roy and Dennisa."
"How can lowly disciples like us guess Headmaster Leon's intentions?"
"But hey, what if in the off chance Damien and Valentina win?"
"You kidding ? I would rather believe the ethereal beasts can speak. But just to humor you, if they really won, then they would be the youngest juniors in the history of the Xeton Ethereal Foundation to have their nas ranked in the Eternal Hall of Fa rankings."
Leon Xeton, along with so other teachers, took so seats pre-allotted for them in the uppermost area as the seats were arranged in a tiered manner with enough leg space to even walk through easily.
No one sat in the sa row as Leon Xeton in respect of his status. However, there was one empty seat beside Leon Xeton, and they wondered for whom it was.
Only a few minutes were left before the arranged ti for the battles began. Then, at this mont, a large burst of shouting ca from the north side of the plaza.
"Roy Clive and Dennisa Rivers are here!"
Under the gazes of countless disciples brimd with excitent, they both had finally appeared.
However, suddenly the gasps of excitent and their fervent gazes shifted towards the east side of the plaza as a bewitching beauty clad in a blood-red exotic dress walking proudly towards the arena.
"Fairy Valentina has arrived!"
"Aaahh, my heart feels satisfied after getting a glimpse of her goddess-like beauty. I think I can now finally die in peace."
"Dude, count in as well. I don't think I can ever marry any other girl because my heart has already been committed to that goddess."
"Shh, you idiots, shut the fuck up! Do you want your balls smashed? Don't talk too loud lest she hears."
"Hmph, you're just jealous that you can't obtain her just like us. Fairy Valentina is a goddess with a kind personality. Sore losers like you might have made up those rumors of her smashing n's balls just to discourage us."
"You!! Hmph, don't co crying to once your eggs are scrambled."
'These simps…' Damien inwardly chuckled in amusent.
Valentina smiled as she walked towards Damien and stood near him in an intimate manner, much to other n's jealousy and envy.
They couldn't understand how Damien managed to strike such a lottery and if his pretty looks seduced Valentina or the fact that he had a lightning seed since that could be considered quite a rare talent.
However, they had to grudgingly admit inwardly that Valentina and Damien did match well as a couple, seeing them stand together.
But Roy and Dennisa's eyes crinkled when they saw Damien and Valentina as if they found sothing shocking.
"Hmm, the fifth level of the Spirit Ethereal Realm? What the fuck…" Roy muttered in disbelief.
Dennisa also mumbled, her eyes wide open as she looked at Valentina, "Third Level of the Earth Ethereal Realm...this can't be true. This is impossible!"
"Were they hiding their cultivations before? Otherwise, how did they both breakthrough more than one level so fast?" Roy muttered to Dennisa.
After they got healed temporarily after eating Alchemist Azrael's pills, Dennisa's hatred towards Roy vanished as she realized that she was targeting her anger and hate at the wrong person since Roy was a victim as well.
Instead, they both were now even closer, promising themselves to find the culprit who dared to toy with them and tarnish their reputations.
Dennisa's expression returned to normal as she scoffed while gazing at Valentina with resentnt, "Hmph, a bug that is slightly fatter is still a bug. We can still crush them like bugs with just our fingers. But of course, we should toy with them to our heart's content before crushing them. Let us humiliate them before everyone and make them pay for what they did, especially her!"
Roy also nodded as a vicious glint flashed past his eyes.
A new roar of excitent suddenly ca as everyone noticed an otherworldly beauty with sapphire hair and azure eyes walking in. Her presence itself seed to bring about a change in the whole atmosphere among the audience.
"The Ethereal Fairy!"
Everyone couldn't understand why there were so many unexpected and grand people coming to spectate the matches.
"Princess Reva? Wait, even she is here to watch this match? What the hell is going on? Why are all the bigshots showing up today? Isn't this match supposed to end in like a minute at most?"
"Man, you still think about the match when two goddesses have already graced our eyes with their presences? I don't think I can pay attention to the match with these two goddesses stealing my eyes. Who cares why they are here? You just have to shut up and enjoy their presence."
"Maybe she is here because I heard Damien is her favorite student. Like she may be concerned whether Roy would accidentally kill Damien."
"Nah, he might be a brilliant disciple but still not worthy enough to have her attention. I think just like our Headmaster Leon, she is here for certain other reasons."
Damien saw Reva and saw her stealing a glance at him montarily, to which he smiled. He could see from her eyes that she seed concerned and a bit of worry about his match.
Reva walked towards Leon Xeton and exchanged greetings as she sat down on the only seat next to him.
"Damien, who are you smiling at?" Valentina curiously asked as she tried to follow his gaze.
Damien swiftly turned away Valentina's head as he chuckled, "Nothing, I just heard so funny things."
Damien inwardly sighed in relief as he didn't want Valentina to misunderstand. However, the n thought Damien was having a lovey-dovey mont seeing him touch her face, and seeing the two, they gritted their teeth, feeling jealousy squirming through their skins.
Leon Xeton asked Reva with a smile, "I never expected you to co here. In fact, I was surprised when you suddenly told you wanted to see the match."
Reva calmly replied, "He is not only my disciple but also the only genius with such monstrous talent I have ever co upon. Even now, I was astonished to see that his cultivation had risen by four levels within a month after his previous breakthrough. I can't even understand his shocking talent, and it would be bad if sothing untoward happened to him during this match."
Leon Xeton nodded as he looked at Damien and Valentina, "That's true, and the sa goes for her as well, I guess. Breaking through two levels in quick succession in the Earth Ethereal Realm within a month is sothing I have never heard of in all my years of following the Ethereal Way. These two sure aren't simple."
Now that all concerned parties had arrived, Roy and Damien walked towards Arena #1 while Dennisa and Valentina walked towards Arena #2.
Everyone could clearly see both the arenas, and there were ethereal barriers between the arenas so that the battle in one of the arenas wouldn't affect the other.
The buzz and excitent increased even further as they saw the challengers entering the arena. At the sa ti, more and more people ca to join in for the excitent.
