"Sigh...you perverted boy. Fine, close your eyes and ditate. I will send you the dual cultivation art," Luna instructed.
Damien closed his eyes and started to focus on his soul plane. And soon enough, he felt an influx of information flowing to his soul plane and imdiately started to comprehend it.
'Eternal Bond of Sacred Hearts? Hmm...quite a dignified na for a dual cultivation art,' Damien began to comprehend dual cultivation art, and soon his mind beca completely focused on it.
When he opened his eyes, he saw Luna co out of her Shard of Essence, "Hmm, you have been comprehending it for a few hours. And it seems like you have partially comprehended it. By two weeks, you would have comprehended more, and each ti you circulate that art within your body, the faster and more comprehension you will get."
"You an I will comprehend faster if I dual cultivate as well?" Damien asked, not feeling surprised since it was a dual cultivation art after all.
Luna nodded and said with a mischievous grin, "Hmph, I think you will use this as an excuse to play more with your lovers."
Damien defensively said, "Hey, I am not that type. I give equal importance to business and pleasure."
He continued with a thoughtful expression, "But this art definitely seems good. Based on what you said, the dual cultivation arts in this world would only benefit the user, while the art you gave would benefit both the man and woman by exchanging their ethereal essence and absorbing their partner's ethereal essence and thus increase their cultivation."
Luna nodded and stated, "Yes, that's the basic gist of it. But the art I gave you is very profound, and soon you will understand what I ant. It truly is an art that goes beyond just joining bodies and gaining strength."
Damien slowly nodded his head as he mused on her words. He felt that what Luna said was indeed true as he felt sothing very profound hidden as he comprehended the art. The only way he could find out was by dual cultivating.
"I will ditate for a while more to absorb the life essences in my ethereal core," Damien decided to absorb so of the life essences of ethereal beasts he had killed to make sure he can breakthrough a few levels by the end of two weeks.
It was midnight when Damien finally opened his eyes again. Because of his Spirit Ethereal Realm cultivation, Damien didn't need that much sleep as an average human, nor did he need to have three als a day to not stay hungry.
Damien speculated that once one reaches the Pri Ethereal Realm, then they could go without food and sleep for years and not feel any sorts of tiredness or weakness.
He wondered if those were so of the signs that a practitioner was slowly losing their mortality. He also thought if he could achieve false divinity, the fabled realm above the mortal realm when one would shed their mortality bit by bit and tread the path to achieve divinity.
He then decided to ask Luna sothing outrageous, "Luna, is it possible for a very powerful and genius mortal to cultivate thousands or as many years as he needs to reach your level?"
Luna's eyelids drooped halfway, and she looked at Damien as if he was spouting nonsense, "Are you trying to look down on this goddess? No mortal can ever touch the realm of gods. Their innate potential, talent, and soul are not worthy enough. And hmph, not even ordinary gods can even reach my level then. How do you suppose a mortal can? No matter how many puny gods I have to face, I could easily crush them all with just a swing of my hand. I am the sole ruler of this universe and always will be."
Damien chuckled, "And I guess you are still ruling the universe by staying inside a mortal's body."
"You!" Luna raised her fist as if she was about to give a punch to Damien and receded her fist with a huff.
He then asked, "Then, based on my progress so far, do you think I can cultivate to beco a god? With my Origin Seed, isn't it possible?" Damien thought that in the slight chance, no matter how impossible and far away it seed, if he beca a god, he could easily search for Sofie if he still could not find her.
Luna amusedly chuckled, "Ha, your progress so far is not enough to let predict whether you can even reach the peak of false divinity. So far, you have only comprehended easy stuff, and there are so many profound things you have yet to comprehend, and who knows how many years it will take for you to comprehend them completely, even with your comprehension speed? You have a good chance of achieving false divinity, but even with your Origin Seed, no need to think about it now and have any false hopes. Well, even in the off chance you sohow beca a god, you would still be a lowly god I can twirl around my little finger, hehe."
"You cheeky imp. Heh, one day, I will beco as powerful as you, and then we will see who will twirl around whom," Damien said with a grin though he didn't have any confidence in what he said. He only said it to counter her haughtiness.
"Pfft…" Luna chortled and laughed as she held her hand on her stomach.
She then looked at Damien as if she was looking at a fool, "Ha, even if you cultivate for an eternity, you will never reach my level, for my true power is boundless without any ceiling to how powerful I can beco. My power grows as much as I want it to be, and no god in this universe will ever be a match for and surely not a mortal like you."
Damien didn't back down and said with a smirk, "But I am sure Anti-God would have kicked your butt if he had been alive. Or is he a puny god as well?"
Luna's eyes twitched as she rembered the ridiculous and heaven-defying skills she saw in Damien's Anti-God Arts, which were sealed. She did feel that, in a way, no ordinary gods could even co close to the Anti-God if he felt like it and decimate them to nothingness without even lifting a finger.
But she wondered how such a powerful entity died and who defeated him even though he was so powerful? If there really was another god powerful enough to defeat him, then she believed that there should at least be a third god at least as powerful as her.
However, she found it all extrely improbable, thinking why she didn't co upon any of them unless she did but forgot along with her mories.
She could understand why she didn't co upon Anti-God before since he was in a different dinsion. However, since his Origin Seed was in the Aether dinsion, especially in a mortal's body, she speculated that he should have died in the Aether dinsion itself.
And if he did really fight soone to the death, then she would be the first person to know as she truly was the sole ruler of the Aether dinsion. And surely she would interfere if an outsider tried to create chaos in her turf, no matter how powerful he is.
She was extrely confident in her abilities that even after guessing how powerful Anti-God was, she was sure she wouldn't be defeated that easily nor could she tell if she could defeat him as well.
Luna squinted as she said, "Hmph, I admit he was not a puny god based on how profound his Origin Seed and nether arts are. But that does not an he could stomp over as well. I am sure if he were intelligent enough, he wouldn't want to fight as well."
Damien smiled whimsically, "Oh, so you don't want to fight him as well?" He could see that Luna really had to face Anti-God; she would think twice before battling him.
He already knew Anti-God was powerful, but only now he realized that he might as well have been as powerful as Luna, at least seeing how she didn't ridicule him as a lowly god.
